I recently purchased a stay at this cottage for my dad's birthday present. He was really excited about going as he absolutely loves Whitby. His stay didn't disappoint. On arrival he was greeted by gifts of a cake and wine, which he throughly enjoyed with my mum and friends, who stayed in the extra room. The cottage was clean, newly decorated and had everything they needed, including an onsite play area and pool which their grandchildren would love. Whitby was only a £6 taxi ride away but was also within walking distance - about 20 min walk (although my parents do walk quite fast!). They also checked out the local village of ruswarp and noticed a soft play area for children. Would definitely recommend this cottage to families, couples etc... Thank you for making their stay so enjoyable.
Warm and welcoming cottage
We enjoyed a lovely and relaxing stay at the cottage. Having never been to Whitby before we found it an excellent base to explore the town and surrounding area from! The cottage itself was immaculate and decorated to a high standard making it very welcoming. There was plenty of room in the double bedroom to put up the travel cot. The on site pool was a great way to spend the afternoon with children too! As the weather was so nice we were able to make use of the walk over the viaduct bridge into town - taking in the lovely views and walking off the famous fish and chips on the way home! Will definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to make it back ourselves too!
Have just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay at number 36. This is a beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean cottage with everything you could possibly need to make your stay easy and comfortable. We especially loved the unexpected cake and pancakes we were greeted with on arrival!!! The site is perfectly located within a short walking distance to Whitby itself and has a lovely pool to keep the kids amused. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend to others.
