A luxurious and well appointed 2 bedroom lodge on a private and secluded plot close to all site amenities at Shorefield Country Park. Gas central heating throughout. Allocated parking by the lodge for two cars. One bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite. Second bedroom with twin beds. Family bathroom. Wfi is available free of charge. One of the best pitches on Shorefield as the lodge is in a quiet cul de sac yet within 2 minutes of all the amenities. The lodge is on a sunny pitch but is not overlooked and has trees both front and behind. Access to the lodge is via a small set of steps which takes you up onto the large gated deck area and into the lodge. There is decking on 2 sides of the lodge with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. There are also 2 sunloungers and a barbecue. Shorefield is a 5 star rated holiday park set in 100 acres of parkland within walking distance (800metres) of the coast at Milford on Sea. The beach at Milford has stunning views to the Isle of Wight and the Needles. Situated on the southern edge of the New Forest, this South Coast holiday park is the ideal location to explore this beautiful part of Hampshire. The park has great entertainment for all ages and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Nearby are golf courses, horse riding stables, nature trails, cycle routes and fishing all in beautiful surroundings. Facilities on site include: Indoor and outdoor heated pools, play areas, tennis courts, fitness suite, gym and Reflections Elemis Day Spa, clubhouse, bar and lounge, restaurant and bistro, supermarket. Entertainment programme for adults and children. The park has also been awarded the Gold standard David Bellamy award for conservation. There are options to access computers or use the site Wifi in the club. Club membership can be purchased for a small charge. The pebble beach front at Milford on Sea can be reached on foot through the park in 10/15 minutes or by car within 4/5 mins. There is also a woodland walk, with stream, that takes you in to Milford on Sea in about 30 to 40 minutes. Milford has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants grouped around a village green. The views across to the Isle of Wight from Milford are beautiful as are the sunsets on the coast. There are foot ferries that run from Keyhaven which is just along from Milford on Sea and will take you across to The Isle of Wight. From Milford on Sea you can also walk along the shingle bank for a mile to Hurst Castle (English Heritage). From there you can take the ferry back to Keyhaven and walk back in to Milford. This area is great for bird watchers who would also enjoy the walk along the salt pans heading to Lymington. Lymington is only a few miles away and is a pretty town with its Georgian architecture, bustling quay, shops and busy Saturday market. The nearest sandy beach is at Mudeford, which is approximately 15 minutes by car. At Mudeford you can also go crabbing or catch a ferry across to Hengistbury Head and the beautiful Sandbank beach with its colourful beach huts. Here you can walk or catch the little train along the headland and continue by ferry in to Christchurch. Other nearby coastal areas include Barton on Sea, Highcliffe or Bournemouth. Shorefield provides easy access to the New Forest and an abundance of activities there including walking and cycling.
We live in Gloucestershire but love being by the sea. Now we are semi retired we wanted a place near the sea to share with family and friends. We love being able to walk to the beach. Brian likes to fish and the barbecue is ready on the lodge decking in case there might be a tasty sea bass for tea!
We also love walking - preferably a circular walk including a pub. We have already found a good selection of these in the area. We will leave some suggestions for walks and days out in the lodge in case you are new to the area. We hope you can add to these through your own holiday sightseeing and exploring.

We looked at a lot of places along the south coast but nothing could beat the area around Milford on Sea. We liked the pitch that the lodge is sited on at Shorefield because it is very private and is not overlooked. It is a lovely sunny spot in a quiet cul de sac but still within a couple of minutes walk of all the site amenities. We love being in walking distance of the beach and Milford is a relaxing place which seldom seems to get crowded. Within 20 minutes by car you can be at more bustling coastal resorts or towns - such as Mudeford Quay, Christchurch and Lymington. You also have the beauty of the New Forest on your doorstep to explore.
As soon as we arrive at the lodge you can start to relax and unwind as it is so comfortable and well equipped. There is a small supermarket on the site. If you want to be pampered you are able to book yourself treatments at the day spa on site. We love to walk through the woodland walk from the site in to Milford. This follows a stream in to the village. It takes around 30 minutes and you can return along the seafront and back to the site. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants close by.
We want you to feel at home and so will make sure the lodge is equipped with what we would expect as guests in order for you to enjoy your stay in our lodge at Shorefield.
Had a really nice holiday in this large sized Lodge. The Lodge is situated in a cul de sac and is very close to the good sized swimming pool with Sauna/ Steam room, bars and expensive on- site shop. The local beaches are shingle/stone but a very short drive away is the lovely Highcliffe beach where we spent a fantastic day, on route is a large Lidl store so we purchased groceries here. Kids loved the swimming pool and on-site adventure pirate themed playground. We all slept very well in this lovely Lodge and had plenty of room to individually chill with 6 people this may have been a bit cramped. All in all a great place to stay in a great location would recommend to anyone.
A pristine lodge with everything we needed and in a perfect tucked away location on the Shorefield holiday park and yet within 2 minutes walk of the swimming pool and clubhouse. Ideal too for the children as they also had space to play outside without worrying about cars. The lodge owners couldn't have been more helpful with the booking information. Highly recommended.
