Modernised 3 bedroom mid terraced Victoria townhouse in the heart of West Cowes. Split over 3 floors, 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6), open plan kitchen dinner, reception room, two terraces and sea views. The house is situated close to the Red Jet fast ferry to Southampton and a short drive from East Cowes car ferry across chain ferry. It is a 2 minute walk to Northwood Park and also 2 minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants in Cowes. The sailing clubs are also in easy walking distance. Cowes green and beach are just a 7 minute walk away, where you can watch the yachts and liners go by. Ideal for families, couples or groups of friends. It's a great base if you want to relax in Cowes or to explore the island. Perfect for the Isle of Wight Festival and Bestival as the buses run at the end of the road.

About Sandy Brann

Had holiday home on Island for over 30 years, our children always loved their holidays on the Isle of Wight and we enjoyed life here beaches, cafes, bars and the people. When all the children had flown the nest we decided to move here and bought the house next door for our children with their children to enjoy. Now they are buying their own houses in Cowes so we can now let ours out to you. Now have bought Granville Road for more of you to enjoy.

Notes on accommodation: The accommodation is ideal for a family on holiday, a couples break or for a crew. Outside: Outside there is decking and steps leading down to the garden.There is also a side alley leading to the garden. There are outside table and chairs. Utility Room: In the utility room there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also room to hang up wet clothes. Iron and ironing board are stored in the cupboard. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are included and changed on changeover day. Beach towels are not included. Other: The kitchen has a dining area with table and 6 chairs.

This accommodation was just what we needed. Great location, good price compared to other accommodation in the area and really lovely and well presented.

The Owner's were very helpful and accommodating and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Cowes area.

Modern, close proximity to amenities, comfortable - does not disappoint!

We are regular visitors to the Island, I have to say this property is one of the best we have stayed in. Very close to the town centre to be in easy reach of the shops and restaurants. Plenty of space and very modern all you need and more for a short or longer stay. Only minor point, is that that the double room should be positioned on the middle floor with two twin beds upstairs, however this does not detract from that this is a great property and would certainly revisit again

A nice cozy place near the sea

This is a charming 3 storey house set in the quaint town of Cowes. It has everything you need to have a relaxing and comfortable stay, and there are loads of restaurants to choose from in the town which is only a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stay and the property serves as a good base to explore the rest of the island. Would highly recommend.

Half Term week away with the kids

We have just returned from a week in the Isle of Wight with our two young children (2 and 4 years old). 56 Granville Road was the perfect holiday home for us, both in terms of location and layout/amenities of the property itself. It has everything you need, very clean and modern with lots of space. It is on a nice quiet little road and only 5 minutes walk into the beautiful town of Cowes. All other attractions are very close by, furthest is probably only 30 mind drive max. Sandy and her husband were very accommodating, we had a welcome pack including milk, butter and even chocolate and biscuits for the kids which was a lovely touch. They were even on hand to let us back in when the kids accidentally locked us out :) nothing was too much for them. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking for a break in IOW, whether that be a family with children or couples/groups of friends.

A gem of holiday home

This house is the most wonderful holiday home, the photos do not do it justice. On our fourth visit to Cowes, it was the best crew house we've found to date. Very spacious and clean and beautifully finished. Its location within 5 minutes walk of High Street was fantastic and the milk, butter and treats left for us were hugely appreciated. Many thanks.
