Modern Cottage With Countryside And Coastal Views

Overview

Property

Updated: 25-Nov-2016
Cottage in Marhamchurch, Bude, Cornwall, England , Child Friendly, Dogs Welcome

Parsons is a modern cottage, part of Hilton Farm Holiday Cottages (a 10 cottage site). We are near Bude, on the outskirts of the village of Marhamchurch, overlooking the sea at Widemouth Bay - a peaceful and tranquil location on the North Cornish Coast. The village has a village pub, the Bullers Arms and we are short drive from the small seaside town of Bude which has a good choice of restaurants and shops. Hilton Farm is the ideal spot to make the most of your holiday in North Cornwall. The coast and the seaside town of Bude are within easy reach (10 minutes drive or a pleasant walk along the canal). Further afield, Tintagel, Boscastle, Appledore, Clovelly, Port Isaac and Padstow are all within an hour's drive. The Eden Project is slightly further. We have a tennis court, heated outdoor pool (Easter-Sept), hot tub, play area (with trampoline, football, swings and toddler toys) and games room on site. Our holiday cottages are perfect for short-breaks or long stays, from just 2 people to a large group.

Guestbook comments from the owner

"We stayed here for a few days in order to attend a family party. We were a mixed age group from 1- 57. The cottages are very well equipped, clean and the beds are very comfortable. the outside space is very good especially for young children as there is a pool, play area and some animals. The owners are very friendly and accessible but not intrusive. there is a BBQ area and also a hot tub. we would definitely stay here again when visiting the area."

"Had a lovely time, cottages are very well equipped and clean. Kids had great time as they could go off and play and be safe. Swimming pool and hot tub lovely. Would thoroughly recommend Hilton farm and hope to visit again next year."

Location

From the Owner

Hilton is a beautiful spot. We love the views over the countryside to the sea. It is close to the coast and there is lots to do, but it is very peaceful, on a quiet road on the outskirts of a village so it is easy to get away from the summer rush. We are on the North Cornwall/ North Devon border so it is easy to explore these two counties. The Eden Project, Padstow and Port Isaac, Clovelly and Appledore are all within an hour's drive with Tintagel, Boscastle and Bude very close. The South West coastal path runs along the coastline and there are some amazing views over the sea. The area is popular for cycling, pony trekking and surfing as well as walking. The beaches are beautiful; Widemouth and Black Rock are 10 minutes in the car or a walk over the fields. There is a sea pool in Bude.
