Illusion Villa is located on the Southern part of Santorini Island, at the historical Akrotiri. Akrotiri is one of the well-known traditional villages in Santorini; renowned for its pre-historical settlement situated there. The Archaeological site, the famous Red Beach and La Ponta Venetian Tower are within walking distance from the villa.

Illusion Villa is situated in an extremely quiet area of Akrotiri, but still very close to the centre. Mini markets and convenient stores, bakeries and grocery stores, local tavernas and restaurants with home-made dishes are all within walking distance from the villa and easy to access.

The Villa has been built according to the traditional architecture of Cyclades and combines traditional with modern design. The antique furniture inside the villa was carefully collected by the owners to remind you of the culture of the island and travel you back in time.

Beautiful place to stay. Views are amazing and the house is perfect. If anything was needed, we had help straight away. Looking forward to spending time there again the near future.

A little gem

The villa is just stunning with everything you could possibly need, it was extremely clean and comfortable and the air con in the downstairs bedrooms is very welcoming. The location is superb, set on a hill with stunning views of the sea, the outside space is great and the jacuzzi was so welcoming after sitting in the sun. It’s a short walk to the village where there is an excellent supermarket and several taverna’s. Aris, the caretaker is brilliant and was so very helpful with organising transport, a really lovely guy. The bedding was changed twice during our one week stay and the villa cleaned. We would love to return.

Lovely property

This is an ideal villa away from the hustle and bustle of busier parts of Santorini, while it’s a short drive from the main tourist trail. The area is quiet and the rooms enjoy excellent views. Overall the property is well equipped and comfortable with good air conditioning.

Beautifully designed and well equipped

Really nicely built and appointed new villa - it actually _is_ what the pictures show - a few minutes walk from the resturants and 'corner shop' in Akrotiri village centre. Well equipped for self catering; everything we needed. Helpful people too; the villa manager came to meet us at the airport so we could follow him there. Third sleeping area is not quite so private as the main two; it's a mezzanine floor above the main living area, with less headroom and not quite such effective aircon as the other two rooms, which both have their own aircon. Still nicely set up though. Nearest beaches are not far - and Red beach is spectacular - but a fair trek on foot, especially uphill on the way back. I'd recommend a vehicle, though that would be useful anyway for getting around the island. Overall, though, the nicest place we've ever stayed in the mediterranean; thoroughly recommended.

Little Gem

Perfect property in a perfect location. Quietly tucked away a clean comfortable villa with great views and sunsets. Everything you need from outdoor space with hot tub and barbecue and a walk away from so many things to see such as; beaches, Ancient Akritiri, Venetian Castle with the music man, restaurants and local shop. A car is a must and is easy to get to everywhere on the island for vineyards, Oia, Fira etc.

Absolute privacy with breathtaking and unobstructed view to the Aegean Sea. Very quiet location and still very close to everything; supermarkets, bakeries, fruit and vegetable stores, restaurants, archaeological sites and sightseeing and the famous Red Beach. All within walking distance!
