About Lynda Partridge

My husband and I live in rural Devon with our pet dogs and chickens. We moved here in 2013 as an 'escape to the country'. We love the beautiful English countryside, the seclusion and the friendly locals. After holidaying in Devon for many years, this was our favourite area and where we chose to settle.

Lynda Partridge purchased this cottage in 2013

Lovely Property

  • 5 of 5

We received a warm welcome from Lynda and David to their cosy and comfortable cottage. A cream tea and fresh eggs from the hens awaited us. Our grandsons really enjoyed the wonderful garden which was a child's paradise with goal net, rope swing, treehouse, hammock and woods and loads of space. The setting is very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed a very relaxing week.

lovely place very clean

  • 5 of 5

A very welcoming scones and clotted cream tea on arrival with fresh eggs from the owners hens. A lovely place, very clean good base to explore North Devon (although would recommend a map to compliment your sat nav)! The New Inn is a short drive away and has great food.

Amazing property in secluded location

  • 5 of 5

Amazing property in secluded location we have had a great 4 nights stay here, treehouse, beehives, 5 acres and a swinging bench to take all off the views in, what more could you ask for, Lynda greeted us with a afternoon tea which was perfect, our two young girls enjoyed running around in the woods with secret passageways and the fields chasing each other around and playing on the tree rope swing, our dogs favourite part was chicken chasing but not too often, the accommodation itself has everything you need and the bedrooms are large and everything you need in the kitchen, Lynda and David have thought of everything, thank you for a perfect holiday setting xx Megan,Dean,Phoebe & Erin Cox and Barney Dog

Beautiful cottage and grounds for a really relaxing break

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is beautiful - huge bedrooms, lovely lounge with a log burner and plentiful supply of wood. Cottage is remote, although only about 5 minutes drive from Torrington and 20 minutes to Bideford and Instow, but this means it is really quiet, apart from the occasional horse walking down the lane.

The grounds are huge and plenty of room for the dogs to run, especially when the owners dogs and the little dog from over the road came to play, easy to exercise 6 dogs in a safe and open meadow.

We will definitely come back, loved the area, and loved the cottage. Thanks Lynda
