Beautiful one bedroomed apartment renovated to a very high standard. Spacious, modern apartment with open plan kitchen/lounge diner and a large bedroom with king size bed. Town centre location facing the church, only 2 minutes from the beach and pier. Central flame effect fire for the winter. WiFi. Accommodates 2 adults (plus a baby in a cot). Non smoking and no pets allowed. Linen included in rental cost.

Notes on parking: There is no allocated parking but plenty of free off road parking nearby. There is also a 30 minute loading/unloading bay outside of the property. Notes on accommodation: Cromer is small and easily explored on foot. Its majestic church has a very high tower which it's possible to climb at certain times of the day; well worth the effort for the superb view. Next to the church is the revamped small museum - a good way to learn about this delightful town's long history and put it into its modern context. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen is included, towels available to hire.

clean, comfortable apartment in central location

The spacious apartment is stylish and coordinated in decor which makes for a very restful ambience. It was all very clean. The bed was comfy. Good WiFi connection. My only negative was that the dining table is perhaps more about style than function - it looks great but we're tall people and our legs did not fit under it. The weather was atrocious during our stay so we really appreciated the central location - we could explore the shops, go for short walks by the sea, and pop back for a cuppa when we got too cold! We had to put the heating on and that was very cosy. Great to be just a short walk from the museum, cinema, restaurants and shops. In fact we were so busy out and about that we didn't have time to browse the excellent collection of books in the apartment. We'll just have to do that next time!

Nice flat but a little lacking.

Generally speaking, we enjoyed our stay in the flat but we felt one or two things would have made it better. For instance - there was no bedside table or light on one side of the bed, there was no mirror of any sort in the bedroom and the smoke alarm is hanging from the ceiling so we couldn't be sure whether or not it worked. We were not impressed with the shower as we were unable to lower or raise the head. The thermostatic valves on two of the radiators were obviously not working which meant we could not turn them off. It is always nice to have a vase of flowers on arrival but not when they are dead and crispy!!

For information - the property details are out of date as the flat is over the Co-op (not Budgens). The Co-op took over more than a year ago (or so we are told).

Only 2 minutes' walk to the beach and famous Cromer pier. The front is long and the beaches have lifeguards on duty in season. On the pier is a well known theatre where there are seasonal shows and a full programme of artists throughout most of the year. At the very end of the pier is the lifeboat station which is open to visitors.


A car is not necessary to explore Cromer and our property is easy to reach by train, bus or car. Cromer train station is no more than 10 mins walk away and there is car parking available near to the property. Cromer is only 20 minutes drive from Norwich International airport.

North Norfolk Heritage Coast with RSPB and Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserves, Blakeney National Nature Reserve

Further Details:

There's plenty to keep sports enthusiasts happy - tennis courts, watersports, horse riding - and a golf course less than 15 minutes' walk from the apartment. The whole area is ideal for walking and cycling.

The small streets throw up inviting local shops where fresh sea food, fine fish and chips, individual and tasteful gift shops and galleries can all easily be found. There are a variety of shops on the high street and it's very likely that you'll find all you need for your holiday here in Cromer.
