Great base for a walking holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Slate Knoll. The apartment was very welcoming and cosy and it's the perfect location in central Keswick. No need for our car once we were back from a day on the fells. We'll be back!!

This property exceeded our expectations. Very clean, fresh and bright and overlooking the Main Street. Delicious fresh lemon cake and milk awaited us. We would recommend this accommodation to everyone.

On Thursday and Saturday the market takes over the pedestrianised town centre. Thursday's market is put on by local traders only and is the perfect place for picking up a jar of honey produced at the foot of Skiddaw, something from Saddleback Butchers or a piece of decorative slate from Borrowdale.

Keswick is famed for it’s many and varied festival, with themes ranging from sporting to Christian!

There are a wide range of all weather attractions in Keswick including musuems and galleries. Here is a list of a few of the things you can do in Keswick that doesn't involve walking up a mountain.
