Ideal location for The Witterings Beaches, Chichester, Pagham, Goodwood and the South Downs, which provides sporting and leisure activities for all ages, including sailing, walking, bird watching, surfing, windsurfing, golfing, kite-surfing and sea fishing.

Outside: Large secluded garden laid mainly to lawn. Patio seating area and BBQ provided and large shed for bikes and sports gear storage. Ample parking on drive. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, small freezer, ironing board and iron Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The house is thoroughly cleaned between hand overs. Linen and towels are provided but please provide your own beach towels.

Spacious, clean and with all required amenities

Beautiful property in a lovely part of the country. The house was more than big enough for our family of 5 and the garden is enormous and brilliant for the kids to play in. Can't fault the property in any way.

peaceful and comfortable

This is a spacious, homey place with a full kitchen. The weather was nice, so we especially enjoyed hanging out in the sun room and drying our clothes on the line. The owner even let us pick strawberries from her garden! Wifi worked like a charm, as did the central air. Our only complaint was that the house was not stocked with nearly enough toilet paper, or soap for hand-washing.

Beautiful cottage in idyllic location

Very well equipped cottage, comfortable and good location for access to many places of interest. Lovely quiet spot within easy reach of amenities, only a short car drive away. Comprehensive visitors guide with essential information. Nice to know the owner/housekeeper were easily contactable should a problem have arisen.

Spacious comfortable cottage

We enjoyed a family weekend in this well equipped comfortable property. The surroundings are lovely with views over farmland yet only minutes from the glorious beach at West Wittering. The two bathrooms and lounge plus dining room and conservatory were perfect for our needs giving us lots of room to spread ourselves. We would definitely recommend Mole Cottage.

Approximately 3 miles from the popular beaches of The Witterings and Bracklesham Bay. West Wittering has a large sandy beach with ample parking and facilities and is a popular family destination. East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay are shingle beaches and are close to the town.

Sea conditions are ideal for swimming and are a popular location for surfing, kite surfing and paddle boarding. Equipment hire and tuition is available at a number of outlets.

Travel:

Situated to the south of Chichester and is within easy reach of the historic towns of Portsmouth and Southampton.

A car is recommended to access local areas

Distances:

Birdham for the local shop and Post Office is 1 mile via a footpath, a little bit further by road. High street shops are located at East Wittering (approx. 3 miles).

Historic city of Chichester approx. 5 miles and Portsmouth Harbour is 20 miles.

Goodwood motor circuit is approx. 7 miles and Good wood racecourse approx. 10 miles.

RSPB site at Pagham Harbour approx. 3.5 miles,

Further Details:

Local convenience store and Post Office is at Birdham and supermarket and banks are in East Wittering. There are a number of local pubs and restaurants to cater for most tastes but a car is needed to make the most of venues available.

The area is ideal for dog walking and cycling and nearby beaches are great for water sports.

Chichester and the South Downs national park are popular locations and are within easy reach.

A deposit is taken at the time of booking. This is equivalent to 25% of the total cost of the holiday. The balance is due by 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. A deposit of £150 is requested with this balance to cover any damages.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
