Spacious comfortable cottage

We enjoyed a family weekend in this well equipped comfortable property. The surroundings are lovely with views over farmland yet only minutes from the glorious beach at West Wittering. The two bathrooms and lounge plus dining room and conservatory were perfect for our needs giving us lots of room to spread ourselves. We would definitely recommend Mole Cottage.

Coast/Beach:

Approximately 3 miles from the popular beaches of The Witterings and Bracklesham Bay. West Wittering has a large sandy beach with ample parking and facilities and is a popular family destination. East Wittering and Bracklesham Bay are shingle beaches and are close to the town.

Sea conditions are ideal for swimming and are a popular location for surfing, kite surfing and paddle boarding. Equipment hire and tuition is available at a number of outlets.

Travel:

Situated to the south of Chichester and is within easy reach of the historic towns of Portsmouth and Southampton.

A car is recommended to access local areas

Distances:

Birdham for the local shop and Post Office is 1 mile via a footpath, a little bit further by road. High street shops are located at East Wittering (approx. 3 miles).

Historic city of Chichester approx. 5 miles and Portsmouth Harbour is 20 miles.

Goodwood motor circuit is approx. 7 miles and Good wood racecourse approx. 10 miles.

RSPB site at Pagham Harbour approx. 3.5 miles,

Further Details:

Local convenience store and Post Office is at Birdham and supermarket and banks are in East Wittering. There are a number of local pubs and restaurants to cater for most tastes but a car is needed to make the most of venues available.

The area is ideal for dog walking and cycling and nearby beaches are great for water sports.

Chichester and the South Downs national park are popular locations and are within easy reach.

A deposit is taken at the time of booking. This is equivalent to 25% of the total cost of the holiday. The balance is due by 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. A deposit of £150 is requested with this balance to cover any damages.
