The house is located at 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village. The village boasts one tourist office, two bakers, two restaurants, one food store/supermarket, one hairdresser, one wine shop, one post office with an ATM, public tennis courts (reservation at the tourist office), newsagent/tobacconist, and doctors/nurses. Market days are Thursday and Sunday morning. La House is ideal for one or even two families, but would also suit for 4 couples since every bedroom has complete privacy and the rooms are spacious. It was awarded 4* “meublé de tourism” by the French Tourism Office, and 4 keys by Clevacances.

Best holiday home we have ever stayed in!

We loved every minute of our week in Reillanne. The bastide was generously and beautifully equipped. We were six adults and two teenagers and there was plenty of room for everyone. There was so much to do nearby: we were able to make excursions to the Camargue, the Riviera and to many 'villages perchés' with their historic churches and delightful markets. We appreciated the proximity of the village and all that it offered. We had several warm and friendly exchanges with M.Valery before arriving, and recognize the effort the owners have made to turn this lovely old house into such a fabulous holiday rental.

A wonderful family holiday

What a great property. We are a family with two young girls and the house had everything we could want. a great property for children with the camps, rope swing, bikes, toys and the pool. We loved eating outside enjoying the fabulous views. The village is a very short walk, ideal for popping out for pastries or a pizza in the evening. The locals were friendly and we soon felt very welcome. The house was very clean, the bedrooms spacious and the kitchen very well equipped. I would return to this property and have recommended it to friends. A marvellous holiday!

Location

From the Owner

Reillanne is an iconic village in the Luberon Park, 15 minutes drive from great golf course and 50 minutes from Aix-en-Provence and its festival, or the Esparron Lake and the low Verdon. The area is fantastic for walking and enjoying the countryside. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Marseille Provence Airport, Aix-en-Provence TGV train station or by car with the highway at 15 minutes from the house.

Coast/Beach:

The Calanques (Mediteranean coast) are at less than 90 minutes drive from the house.

Travel:

Reillanne is approximately one hour drive from Marseille Provence Airport, or from the Aix-en-Provence TGV train station. The closest highway is only 15 minutes from the house (Manosque). There are daily public buses from Manosque going to the center of the village.

Manosque (15 km), Forcalquier (15 km), Aix-en-Provence (72 km), Verdon Gorges (87 km), Calanques - Mediteranean sea (111 km) , Avignon (80 km), Lacoste (45 km), Esparron lake (44 km)

The countryside around Reillanne is a rambler's paradise offering a variety of signposted trails which lead nature lovers to hidden viewpoints of inland Provence. Discover the old village by taking a planned walk from the tourist office and wind through narrow lanes showing fountains, washing places, olive oil mills that dominated village life over a hundred years ago.

Booking Notes:

Payment to the owner via bank transfer only. A contract with terms and conditions is signed between parties for each rental.

The house is rent for a minimum duration of 7 days.
Rentals are often from Saturday to Saturday and the house must be vacated by 11.00am (inventory at 10.00 am). A breakages deposit of 600€ is also payable upon booking or at arrival. This will be refunded after your stay.
Arrival of the hosts is planned after 16.00.
We will always attempt to accommodate any special requests but a time window in required for cleaning of the house.


Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday but we will always attempt to accommodate any special requests when possible.

Notes on prices:
The tenant has to transfer a down-payment of 25% of the rental price at reservation. The remaining balance (75%) is to be paid into the same account at least 1 week before the rental period begins. If the duration between the date of signing the contract and the start date of the rental period is less than 7 days, then the total amount is payable immediately into the above account.
The cost of the final cleaning (120 euros) of the house is due the day of your arrival.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.

  • Notes on accommodation: As well as the wood burning fire there are also electric wall heaters in every room. The house is a No-smoking area. Outside: The south facing terrace provides both sun and shade and has a splendid view on the village and Luberon Mountain. You will find tables and eight chairs to enable al fresco dining for your party. There is a three burner gas barbecue to guarantee excellent home cooked cuisine. One hammock, many deckchairs and a table tennis table, bats and balls are also at your disposal in the barn. There is space for three cars or more to park at the entrance of the property. During summer (July/August), an above ground swimming pool is at your disposal but under your responsibility. If you prefer to do not use it during your stay, we can easily put the protective canvas. Utility Room: The utility room situated downstairs holds both a washing machine and a clothes dryer, and an additional fridge/freezer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen, bath towels are provided. The house is cleaned after every tenant and fresh linen provided. The cost of the final cleaning (120 euros) of the house is charged on top of the rental fee, and not optional. Other: The shelves in the Living room or in the bedrooms are stocked with books, comics as well as board games.
