Stunning Villa in Comares, Costa del Sol (Inland),Less Than 1 Hour From Malaga Spain - Great Location just 10 minute drive to Village of Comares, just 1 hour from Malaga airport

This stunning hill top Villa aptly named Villa de Vista has been positioned to take full advantage of the breathtaking and mesmerizing views which can be witnessed from all of the terraces. The only other rentals on our website which have views as amazing as this Villa are Vine Ridge’s 3 smaller rentals.

The villa is light and airy downstairs and has a modern and well equipped kitchen and also dining area, with seating for 6. The granite worktops are a pleasure to work on preparing local cuisine and the dishwasher takes away the effort of clearing up afterwards. The large living room which also houses a comfortable sofa bed has generous windows and patio doors to help frame the vistas that stimulate you from all directions and the front terrace is a natural extension of this room and beckons you to sit outside and eat alfresco or simply sip wine and take in the natural surroundings and look down towards the Mediterranean. If you can tear yourself away from the views then back inside is UK TV and WiFi.

There is also a downstairs cloakroom and utility room which houses a washing machine. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 1 twin and 2 doubles. The twin bedroom has it’s own viewing balcony but the icing on the cake is the master bedroom with a gorgeous en-suite including a bath with a shower above.

Leading out from another set of patio doors is a large terrace which allows you to lie in bed and take in the mountain ranges opposite and acres of Olives, Almonds and various other local produce growing on the hillsides. The other 2 bedrooms also share a shower room. The beautiful blue tiled pool is 8 x 4 m with a 1.2m shallow end leading to a 2m deep end and corner steps, yet again the pool has been designed to catch the sun and views in equal measure. There is a charcoal BBQ.

Myself David and my wife Jacqui moved to Spain in 2007 and then purchased the Villa that was to become 'Vine Ridge' in 2008, we spent a year to create what has now become the apartment and studio, in 2011 due to demand we opened the newer studio. Our 3 daughters help us to run the business and to a lesser extent so do our 3 dogs.

Through word of mouth we then started a local agent business, helping owners that often live back in the UK but need someone trustworthy to help with their rentals.

We know all our properties and owners and have a lovely quality and diverse portfolio from Rural to Coastal ,Large and Small, Secluded or Village.

We started to manage the lovely Casa Armonia in 2014 and very proud to add it to our portfolio of lovely properties.

This is our second visit staying in a Vine Ridge villa and we're kicking ourselves for not doing the villa thing sooner! This time we stayed at Villa de Vista (or Petes Place as we affectionley know it now!). The villa is huge! 3 great sized bedrooms, the master has its own balcony and ensuite, there's also another shower/toilet upstairs and a downstairs wc. One of the other bedrooms has a juliet balcony again sharing the amazing views. The kitchen is great with everything you need, the living room has 2 sofas (one is a double sofa-bed), flat screen tv with a few English channels. Now to the main reasons to book this villa....the views are amazing! You can choose to sit downstairs on the balcony and enjoy a meal then lounge around the pool. Peter (who lives next-door most of the year) is a great guy and there if you need anything, we spent a couple of evenings with him as he knows the best places to eat (highly recommend El Charco and Table Mountain restaurants). There is a great little supermarket in nearby Benamargosa or you can get to the main shopping centre in Torre de Mar in around 30 minutes.

Access to the villa is over a rural track which is not as daunting as you may think, just go steady and you wont have a problem.

Petes Place is wonderful, we have already booked another Vine Ridge villa for September and will be booking Petes again for summer 2018.

Notes on accommodation: A great 3 Bedroom Villa. Pete and Mandy who are lucky enough to own this lovely villa have a twin villa close by, but the pool is for your private use and if they are not in the UK they are a very easy going couple and will be on hand if you require help but would not impose themselves on you and your well earned holiday. The Villa is located just 5 minutes off the road via a part concreted/park dirt track and a 4 x 4 is not required. Outside: There is plenty of outside space to spread out. The 8 x 4m pool has plenty of space for 8 loungers around it, without feeling cramped. There is a great Terrace of the lounge area, with dining table positioned to enjoy the great views all around. There is also a large Terrace off the Master Bedroom upstairs, the bed is placed to take in the views through the large patio doors. There is a BBQ too. Utility Room: Washing machine Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and all towels are included

Great villa, very professional booking service

Just returned from a wonderfully relaxing 3 week break at this great villa. It was spotlessly clean and really bright and spacious, the views were far reaching and absolutely breath-taking from both the villa and the pool. The supermarket was a simple trip into town and the owners were very friendly, yet discreet - plus the sun was shining - what more could you ask for?

Villa Vista stay

The property was beautiful with magnificent views, clean well equipped and spacious and catered for all our needs, although the drive up to the villa was rocky and steep in places it was worth the effort for those views. This villa is for the people who are seeking total rest and relaxation. Peter & Mandy made us feel at home and were very helpful

I totally understand that this area lends itself to relaxing and enjoying the views, but you can also walk to the stunning village of Comares with a reasonable fitness level in 30 minutes and with Malaga only 1 hour away and Granada only 2 hours away there is plenty to explore and beaches are just a 30 minute drive. Thank you once again.

Amazing place!

A group of us stayed at this villa to celebrate a 30th birthday. What a stunning villa!! We loved the privacy and that no other villas were over looking us. Each room was spacious, the private pool was goregous and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we wanted. The owners were fantastic and even taxied us around when we wanted to go for a meal and have a drink. Simply amazing! Thank u!

It was a pleasure to help a large group who also rented one of my smaller rentals at Vine Ridge as well. There are no villas above this amazing house hence it is not being overlooked so although the owners have a twin house next door often it is empty as they live in the UK and if they are over they keep themselves to themselves but will help with the odd taxi etc. Of all the lovely villas we rent this one has the most amazing views and this area of Spain is stunning and great value. Torre del Mar is the nearest beach, reachable within a 35 minute drive. There are numerous beaches reaching out east and west of Torre waiting to be explored. The beautiful resort of Nerja is under an hour away.


Malaga Airport is a 1 hour drive away, and serviced by the budget airlines. Granada Airport is also accessible within 90 minutes max and once again has budget airlines flying there. Although we can offer an airport collection service and you can walk every day from the villa, it is advisable to hire a car to fully appreciate the surrounding countryside and resorts. Car rental companies are available from the airport and can be recommended if required.


Comares is the nearest village to us and can be reached by car in 10 minutes, or you can walk there via the old mule track in approx 20 minutes. Aqua Velez Water Park is only a 30 minute drive away and opposite is a splendid indoor air-conditioned shopping centre El Ingenio, (Eroski). Malaga City with its famous Picasso museum and numerous shops and bars is 60 minutes away. Granada city centre inclusive of the Alhambra Palace is reachable within 2 hours.

Further Details:

There are numerous activities to keep you occupied during your stay, however long! Locally we can arrange a qualified beautician, horse-riding treks or beginners classes. The terrain adheres itself to mountain biking although yoga lessons are available for the less sporty. There are plenty of walks of varying degrees . As we are a family run business we can offer a baby-sitting facility and taxi service to give you a break if needed! In the quaint village there are several restaurants where you can enjoy 'Spanish or English' fayre - all child friendly. Our location allows for excellent bird spotting, star gazing and has been an inspiration for artists for many years. Within 1 hours driving distance you could bowl, participate in water sports, go-carting or visit the cinema for something less energetic!
