Excellent accomodation

Apartment is very comfortable with good facilities including off street parking and wifi. It is conveniantly located for access to St Ives and the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Great accommodation!

As other holidaymakers reviews, this apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is great for exploring this beautiful area. Local transport is good with frequent trains and buses into St Ives,

The information pack was excellent as was the communication with the owners. We would have no hesitation in recommending this acommodation.

Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location

What a wonderful apartment this is - a true home from home experience! Spotlessly clean and decorated beautifully with tasteful pictures and ornaments, the apartment has excellent quality fixtures and fittings throughout. (For once a holiday let with an extra comfy settee!) Fully equipped with everything you may need for a true self catering holiday, the apartment is also next to a strip of 3 shops - a chemist, cost-cutter and hairdressers. The location is perfect for travelling to St Ives on the train (3 minute ride and £2 return ticket), and there was always lots of parking spaces at the station which is 2 minutes away by car. (A slight incline on way back, but easy to walk to for most people/ children.) The bus stop is only 50 yards away for an alternative route into St Ives and beyond. Will be recommending this property to family and friends for sure!

Beautiful appartment

This was a great area to base yourselves for exploring Cornwall ,great transport on the doorstep and very cheap . The apartment exceeded all our expectations very clean and modern with everything needed to make our stay very comfortable . Will defiantly book to stay here again it was perfect !

A fantastic retreat, clean and cosy a great place

A lovely modern apartment with all home comforts, everything is new, so much better than a hotel. The beds were so comfy, just what you need after a full days holidaying! Close to the train station, so you could be down in the harbour in no time, 10 min walk to Carbis bay beach.

We had a fantastic time, Ed and Zoe made sure everything went smoothly and it was very much appreciated.

The local restaurants were great, and we love St Ives harbour, it just has something special that not many other places have. We would recommend the apartment to anyone and we would be confident they would have a great holiday.

Great location

The apartment was very clean and a great size, we are a family of 4 and the only down side was that the rooms are both double beds, would have been perfect if one has 2 singles. Facilities inside were great and the beach is only a 10minute walk away but if you want to explore more then this is a great place to do it from.

We simply love the location. In our opinion, you will not find a more tranquil and beautiful beach as you do in Carbis Bay. The people in Cornwall are fantastic and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Carbis Bay beach is a beautifully tranquil, mile long crescent of golden sand backed by an expanse of sand dunes. An ideal retreat for those who dislike resort beaches. Water sports are restricted, the beach is family orientated and just a short ten minute walk from the property.

Travel:

The property is a great base from which to explore the delights of Cornwall either walking or driving.

Distances:

Ten minute walk to Carbis Bay beach. Just under two miles from St Ives. 5 minute walk to Carbis Bay railway station (then just a 3 minute journey into St Ives). Access to the South West coastal path is also between a 5 and ten minute walk from the property.

Further Details:

Carbis Bay and St Ives enjoy some fantastic shops and restaurants selling mostly local produce.

There is a Cost Cutter and a pharmacy in the immediate vicinity of the property. There is a supermarket approx. one mile form the property. If you like fish and chips, there is a fantastic eat-in or takeaway chip shop about a five minute walk from the property.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday. You will be allowed access from 2pm onwards on the arrival date and we request you vacate by 10am on the day of departure.
