Perfect Autumn Birthday Weekend - November 2014

Looked for somewhere in the New Forest to book for a surprise 60th birthday for my dad - found this place and it was perfect from the word go. Excellent friendly communication with Liz the owner via email and phone, and a real effort was made to help the weekend be as special as possible. House was immaculate, with every possible mod-con, including underfloor heating, and we were made very welcome with biscuits, juice, beer and homemade jam. So convenient - easy to find, plenty of parking, close to a big supermarket; but also very close proximity to the Forest and coast for a feeling of 'getting away'. We had a birthday lunch on the Saturday and other family members joined us, allowing us to make full use of the great kitchen equipment, big fridge, and large range-style cooker/oven. All very impressed, and my dad is still talking about it! Several of our extended family who visited during our stay have asked for details so they can book next summer too. Thanks again.

A Fabulous Holiday Home to Relax and Unwind in - August 2014

We stayed at Inglewood Cottage with our two children and our dog for two weeks and had a brilliant time. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you could need to feel at home. My parents joined us for the second week and my mum made a plum crumble with fruit from the tree in the garden! Liz provided a lovely welcome hamper full of local goodies, so we could have a cup of tea and a piece of cake on arrival. The house was spotless and was given a mid week clean which was an added bonus.

The shops are easy walking distance from the house and we found New Milton had every shop you could need, even its own little department store. We enjoyed a 20 minute walk to the sea front where we could have a drink (or big breakfast) at the Beachcomber café at the top of the cliff. There is plenty to do within a short drive, our kids loved Splashdown near Poole, the pottery painting café at Christchurch and cycling from Brokenhurst station into the New Forest. It is a beautiful area to explore as you are near the coast with views of the Isle of Wight or you can be in the New Forest within moments. We would definitely recommend this house for a family holiday
