About the property

Superb location -short walking distance to both Burriana and Balcón de Europe

The ever popular Burriana beach with its front line restaurants, bars & beach wear shops, is just 5 minutes walk away while the exciting town centre of Nerja with its famous “Balcon de Europa”, where you will find fantastic selection of shops, bars and restaurants that cater for everybody's pocket, is about 10 minute walk. The house is located in a very quiet but highly popular residential street in the Parador area and has secure entrance gates providing maximum peace and security. The house is having a wonderful private and enclosed garden facing south with sunbeds and dining table. The shared pool is less than 15 meters away.

About the property; On the ground floor you find a fully equipped kitchen with white goods & appliances such as fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, water boiler, toaster, etc. Next to the kitchen you find the toilet. The living room is having two leather sofas, a Flatscreen TV with many British, Spanish, Scandinavian and German channels and a dining table for up to six people. With the large sliding glass doors you open up to the paved private and enclosed garden area.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms with timer controlled Air Conditioners and a bathroom;

(1) The first bedroom has a double bed (180cm) and a built-in large wardrobe.

(2) The second bedroom has two single beds (2*90cm), chest of drawers and a built in large wardrobe. Additionally and if necessary, there is also an extra foldable bed that enables up to five people in total can sleep in the house.

The bathroom is fully equipped with toilet, sink and shower.

The second floor features a sun terrace facing south with two sunbeds. During the winter period (December-January) the sun shines between 09:00 to 16:00 on this roof terrace (during the winter period you will enjoy the sun better on the roof terrace than in the garden area) and it is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or nice lunch in the sunshine.

If you would like to explore the area and region and do consider renting a car during your stay, please note that around the house on street parking is available but subject availability (finding a free spot can however be very challenging, especially in the summer time). In order to avoid the hassle with finding any available parking, we can arrange a private garage next to the community entrance to those guests being interested (weekly additional cost 70 EUR).

We are a family of four, two adults and two children, living in the southern parts of Sweden but try to go to Nerja as often as possible.

Why Daniel Petermann chose Nerja

The property is located between the Balcony of Europe and the beautiful and very popular Burriana Beach. Hence it provides short distance to both the beach as well as shops and restaurants. At the same time it is a quiet residential area (about 200m away from the famous Parador Hotel).

What makes this house unique

The house is our second home and we try to go here as often as possible. The location of the house with short walking distances to basically everything you would need at the same being located in a quiet area is a great advantage. Especially the privacy in the private and enclosed garden yet only being 15 meters away from the community pool area is something we really love with the house.

Nerja is the perfect place, here you can relax on sandy beaches, eat at excellent restaurants, as well as the plenty of things to keep one entertained. This all within short walking distance from our property.

Even if you do not have a young family Nerja is still a place where you can relax on sandy beaches, eat at excellent restaurants, as well as the plenty of things to keep one entertained in the area. This all within short walking distance.

Wonderful Property

My husband and I stayed at this property for five weeks in February, March 2018 and loved it. The location is good, close enough to town (10 minute walk), but far enough away for a quiet location.

The house itself was lovely with well appointed kitchen, bathrooms, etc. and a beautiful private walled-in garden.

The complex pool was also close enough to the house, but not too close for any noise to intrude when the weather was warm.

It is also a 5 minute walk to a supermarket, very handy.

Daniel was very helpful on the few occasions we needed some help with taxis, etc.

We loved the town of Nerja and would go back again and have no hesitation in giving a this propertu a strong recommendation.

Attractive property in quiet but convenient position

The house is beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and everything you could want is provided for your stay. A much higher standard of fixtures and fitting than previous properties we have stayed in. The beds are very comfortable and so ensure a good night's sleep!

There is an attractive garden and the roof terrace is great for all day sun!

Really could not fault this property!

Coast/Beach:

Burriana Beach (Playa Burriana), (5 minute walk from our property). Nerja's most renowned beach, awarded by the Blue Flag of the European Union. The sand of the Burriana beach is coarser than the other beaches, and some small areas are fenced off with recliners, where people pay to sit here. Many good restaurants!

Travel:

* Nearest airport is Malaga (AGP). Driving time from the airport to Nerja is approx 40 min.

* A taxi from the Airport to Nerja will cost about 70 EUR (should be pre booked)

* Going with public transportation;, Take the train directly from the airport to Malaga Maria Zambrano station (10min ride) and then enter onto the bus leading to Nerja bus stop (between 1-1,5h). Total cost about 7-8 EUR.

Further Details:

The closest supermarket (Supermercado Iranzo) is about 5 min walk away. There is a smaller grocery store closer to the house but with less items.

Please be informed that due to new Andalusia legislation all guests will be requested to provide, through email or by normal post, a scanned copy of their passports, preferably done upon booking but absolutely latest two weeks prior arrival. It shall be noted, if not provided it will result in our inability to provide the keys to the house (e.g. grant you access).

Notes on prices:
Rental of linen as well as kitchen, hand & shower towels (1 set per person and stay) are included in the price.

The damage/security deposit of 250€ is obligatory and will be returned to you no later than 10 days after your departure when it has been ensured that you left the property in a good and clean condition and nothing in the house has been altered/damaged.

Payment schedule:
Initial deposit: 50% of the total cost to be paid upon booking. Remaning balance is due 8 weeks prior arrival to the house.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are Saturdays. If you have any other request please don´t hesitate to ask us as we will try to accommodate any request.

Request for one Crib/Cot? It can be provided if requested in advance. If more is needed it can be provided to an additional charge.
