Villa in Ladera del Mar, Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - Well Located For Beach & Restaurants

A Luxury 4 bedroom villa with its own pool, garden and fantastic sea views to the east, south and west. The villa is positioned to receive the sun ALL day.There is a sea view from ALL of the bedrooms.The villa is located in a small urbanisation in an elevated position above Nerja, looking out to sea and the view from the dining terrace is especially spectacular. Sleeping 8-10 people, the property is ideal for large Groups of friends or family. It is detached and furnished to a very high standard. The property has plenty of private off street parking. Please note Wednesday to Wednesday bookings only available in July and August.

This is a year round location holiday. There is air conditioning in the summer months and heating for the cooler evenings of the winter.

The beach is within easy walking distance (5 minutes) with bars and restaurants. The charming town of Nerja is a short bus ride (1 euro, frequent service), a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute beach walk away. Nerja is lovely; full of charming shops, restaurants, nightclubs and beaches. A taxi is around 9 Euros.

Malaga airport is 45 minutes away, the waterpark 30 minutes and the ski slopes of the spectacular Sierra Nevada just 75 minutes. Plenty of recreational, historic and cultural attractions. Something for all the family awaits!

About Anthony Barnett

We first came to Nerja 3 years ago and fell in love with the town immediately. It took us several months to find the ideal property in a quiet location, with fantastic views of the sea and still only a walk into town. Nerja itself is charming with shady narrow streets, restaurants for all tastes & budgets, and quaint local shops to explore at your leisure. The property is owned by our family printing business, John E Wright Ltd (est. 1900 in Nottingham by Tony's great grandfather) and run by Tony & Toni. We were lucky enough to be married in Nerja in July 2016 accompanied by our family (1 son & 2 daughters) and many of our friends.

Outside: Pretty garden with large pool area with several sunbeds and outdoor dining/BBQ. Utility Room: With granite worktops Fridge Freezer, Washing machine, Iron and Ironing Board Cleaning / Towels / Linen All linen and house towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided. The villa is cleaned before arrival & after departure. Other: There is also a very large heart shaped communal pool set in well established beautiful gardens less than 5 minutes walk away with sunbeds and shaded areas. Ideal for picnics. The small local beach can be seen from the villa balcony and is just a few minutes walk down the hill. Ideal for a walk and beer or BBQ lunch. There is also an excellent restaurant there.

Unbelievable Views

The pictures of this villa give you flavour of what it is all about. But the villa is even better than the pictures. Tony and Toni the villa owners are a pleasure to deal with and are very professional. The villa itself is 5 star, you can tell the owners use it, as it has a lovely homely feel. The gardens and pool area are kept beautiful and the facilities are fantastic. My teenage son particularly loved the cinema room. We also enjoyed using the large communal pool and visiting the beach by the Restinga Restaurant. We are already missing the beautiful sea views, which you have from every part of the villa. Thanks for a fantastic holiday.

Spectacular views, can’t wait to go back...!!!

Absolutely loved our little break here! The villa is beautiful and the views are just stunning. Location is great, not far from the main town which offers a huge variety of tapas bars and restaurants if you fancy a night out. We have recommended this villa to friends and family already and looking forward to returning again ourselves! Perfect!

Unforgettable bliss

The villa is amazing and the views are spectacular.! It is fresh and clean and most importantly so well equipped with everything you need whether you are travelling with kids or without.

Last time we stayed here my baby girl was only 5wks old so I didn't need too much but this time she was nearly three and our new baby boy was 5months..... Couldn't believe how much they had there in the games room that I had not seen the last time. A huge box of duplo lego, chalk boards, dolls., playmats, etc and all kinds of floatables for the pool!

Last time I left here wondering would we ever get to stay there again nearly three yrs later it did not disappoint and I really hope as does my now three yr old to return in a couple of years again. So relaxing. You do need a car tho, it's 3km out but with a car so easy to pop in and out. The villa is worth staying that little bit out. I looked you will not get the same quality any closer.

As for the owners and the letting agency...... Topnotch! Both times so easy and helpful to deal with. Hope this helps you make your decision.

Great location, great views and a happy home away from home.

The property was well maintained - it felt like home. We felt welcomed upon our arrival when the owner had left us a box of goodies including a bottle of wine. Rooms where comfortable and clean. The view was special - the only thing we could have asked for was a little more sun. Not the owner's fault as we were told the weather was abnormal. Nerja was within walking distance and we made the trek almost every day. We'd certainly come again.

A fabulous villa and location, exceptionally well equipped and presented in excellent condition.

It proved an ideal property for 3 couples and 2 grandchildren.

The owners were especially accommodating and helpful throughout.

Beautiful villa, beautiful location

Like all other reviewers I can only echo the main sentiment - the villa and booking process are fab. Sufficient crockery and cutlery, working pots and pans, loads of glasses including good quality plastic glasses. A very lovely welcome pack was the icing on the cake. We had pretty bad weather (not unusual in the midst of January) but just enjoying a few hours with the amazing view from the tarrace wiped away months of stress. Very quiet location, Nerja is lovely. The response time from both Tony/Toni and John were faultless and super quick, we were gutted having to leave. We are unable to plan any leave at the moment due to a family situation, but would otherwise have booked at least one more stay late autumn right there and then! The pool was too cold so cannot comment, but looked fab also. Thank you Tony and Toni for sharing your home and making guests more welcome than I have experienced in 5 star hotels! We very much are looking to return!

The local beach with sunbeds, bar and restaurant is 5 minutes walk away. The main Burriana beach with golden sand, volleyball and watersports activities as well as many bars and restaurants is just 2 miles away - a short drive or long walk to the other side of the small town of Nerja. Playazo beach is a 10 minute walk away from the villa. You can walk along this beach directly into town.


45 minutes drive east of Malaga airport or a 5 euro bus into Nerja direct from the airport (subject to timetable). We can also arrange a taxi from the airport for you through our agents.


Nerja is a 30 minutes walk; or less than a 5 minute drive; or a 1 euro bus ride into town.

Further Details:

Nerja town with its quaint, clean, narrow streets has numerous restaurants, pavement cafes and shops. The main supermarkets are approximately 5 minutes drive or a one euro bus ride from the villa but there is also a local mini-market about 800 metres away. There are 2 waterparks in the area. One at Torre del Mar, and the other at Almunecar 30-40 minutes away.
