Villa in Ladera del Mar, Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - Well Located For Beach & Restaurants

A Luxury 4 bedroom villa with its own pool, garden and fantastic sea views to the east, south and west. The villa is located in a small urbanisation in an elevated position above Nerja, looking out to sea and the view from the dining terrace is especially spectacular. Sleeping 8-10 people, the property is ideal for large Groups of friends or family. It is detached and furnished to a very high standard. The property has plenty of private off street parking.

This is a year round location holiday. There is air conditioning in the summer months and heating for the cooler evening of the winter.

The beach is within easy walking distance (10 minutes) with bars and restaurants. The charming town of Nerja is a short bus ride (1 euro, frequent service), a 5 minute drive or a 40 minute beach walk away. Nerja is lovely; full of charming shops, restaurants, nightclubs and beaches. A taxi is around 8 Euros.

Malaga airport is 45 minutes away, the waterpark 30 minutes and the ski slopes of the spectacular Sierra Nevada just 75 minutes. Plenty of recreational, historic and cultural attractions. Something for all the family awaits!

About Anthony Barnett

We first came to Nerja 3 years ago and fell in love with the town immediately. It took us several months to find the ideal property in a quiet location, with fantastic views of the sea and still only a walk into town. Nerja itself is charming with shady narrow streets, restaurants for all tastes & budgets, and quaint local shops to explore at your leisure. The property is owned by our family printing business, John E Wright Ltd (est. 1900 in Nottingham by Tony's great grandfather) and run by Tony & Toni. We were lucky enough to be married in Nerja in July 2016 accompanied by our family (1 son & 2 daughters) and many of our friends.

Firstly, the views are stunning. From the dining balcony, you can watch the sun rise in the east and set in the west. Being south facing, the property gets the sun all day, which is quite rare in the locality. The villa is beautifully furnished and has a feeling of luxury throughout. The garden is lovely with some colour throughout the year.

What an amazing villa. It is furnished to a very high standard, there is nothing they haven't thought of. The furnishings are lovely and the beds are beautiful and so comfy. We were given a lovely hamper on arrival which contained all the essentials so didn't need to shop straight away which was very thoughtful of the owners. It even included 2 bottles of wine 👍. The views from the villa are amazing. And with 3 different seating areas the sunshine is never far away. If you can drag yourself away then Nerja is the place to go. A bus from the bottom of the hill is just 1 euro, a taxi 9 euros, or a 30 minute walk along the beach front. So many places to eat and drink. From local tapas bars to lovely restaurants, to suit all budgets. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough, a beautiful place and I will definitely be making a return journey ❤️

Fab u lous .... girls holiday

We had to return to this gorgeous place to relive our memorable week last year. The sun shone, the tapas was amazing (more about that in a minute) and the villa was every bit as lovely as we remembered it .... that view, just stunning.

We didn't realise but Nerja has a special tapas event in June in which various bars offer specialities of the region. What a great fun way to explore Nerja and try local food. It was an experience!

Thank you Toni and Tony for more fab memories to treasure.

Fantastic villa with amazing views

This was my second visit to this fabulous villa. It is exactly as the other reviews describe! The location is stunning with amazing views from the terrace and pool area. The villa is extremely well equipped and Tony and Toni have thought of everything you might need to make for a perfect holiday. The villa is in a quite location yet within easy reach of Nerja town. There is a convenient local bus service, 1 euro each way and taxis are plentiful - around 9 to 10 euros. We also walked into Nerja a number of times which takes around 35 minutes. There are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants in Nerja to suit every taste and budget. We also ate at a nice fish restaurant which is within easy walking distance of the villa and had great paella! There are also a number of large supermarkets including a Lidl. Everything you need for a great holiday and I will definitely recommend this villa and plan to return again next year!

Outstanding Villa!!!!!

We have just returned home from an eight night stay at 'Casa Toni'.

One word sums this place up 'WOW'!!!!

We have stayed in a lot of wonderful villas over the years, but none of them come close to this.

On arriving, a welcome pack greeted us with all of the necessary goodies needed to tide us over until our visit to the shops. My Father in Law loved the Magdalena cakes!!!

The age range within our party was between 8yrs-76 & this villa catered for all of our needs.

Lots of fun was had during the day around the pool & down in the cinema room where the boys had table football competitions with their Dad & Grandad!!!!!

The decor is lovely & feels very homely! The views from the villa are spectacular & breath taking, better than you could ever imagine!!!

We truly had a wonderful time and look forward to returning to Casa Toni!!

Everything you could wish for

We visited this fantastic villa in October 2016 as a family of 5 adults.

What a fantastic villa this one is. We have stayed in several villa’s in Spain, this one has to be our favourite. It is not a holiday let but is home from home with everything and more you could wish for, and then of course there is the ocean view. You will never tire of looking at the blue sea and watching the sun rise whilst eating breakfast on the balcony. Or having an evening glass of wine whilst the sun sets!

If like me you are sceptical about booking villa’s through Owners Direct where the owners do not give many details away, Tony and Toni who own this villa will make you feel very comfortable about the whole process. They are UK based and from my initial enquiry I had booked the villa within the hour, the deposit and balance transactions were made as easy as possible.

We also received an A to Z about the villa from Tony which was so detailed and helpful. The directions from Airport to Villa and return were absolutely spot on. No need for any sat nav.

On arrival there was a welcome pack for us, which was much appreciated and we had a welcome call from John who looks after the property for Tony and Toni.

The villa is about 2 miles from the town of Nerja,

If like us you have not been to Nerja you must try it. A lovely Spanish town, with endless restaurants and street cafes.

We were fortunate to be there for their local fiesta, so witnessed firework displays and it was so lovely to see many locals dressed in their national costumes

We would highly recommend both the villa and the area of Nerja and would love to return again in the not too distant future!

The local beach is 10 minutes walk away. The main Burriana beach with golden sand, volleyball and watersports activities as well as many bars and restaurants is just 2 miles away - a short drive or long walk to the other side of the small town of Nerja. Playazo beach is a 10 minute walk away from the villa. You can walk along this beach directly into town.

Travel:

45 minutes drive east of Malaga airport or a 5 euro bus into Nerja direct from the airport (subject to timetable). We can also arrange a taxi from the airport for you through our agents.

Distances:

Nerja is a 40 minutes walk; or less than a 5 minute drive; or a 1 euro bus ride into town.

Further Details:

Nerja town with its quaint narrow streets and numerous restaurants, pavement cafes and shops. Supermarket approximately 5 minutes drive/ I euro bus ride from the villa. There are 2 waterparks in the area. One at Torre del Mar, and the other at Almunecar 30-40 minutes away.
