The Charleston is a fabulous villa right on the beach front in Sitges. Built in the early 1900’s and now sympathetically restored to its original grandeur, The Charleston enjoys one of the most privileged situations in the whole of Sitges.
Situated on the seafront and in the most prestigious neighbourhood of Sitges, this magnificent and historic mansion has retained many of its original features including beautiful glasswork, high ceilings, original wooden staircase, intricate cornicing, white marble flooring and pillared balconies.
All rooms in the house enjoy wonderful views to Sitges town, the Mediterranean sea, and the Garraf natural park, and there are also plenty of terraces and balconies from which to appreciate the stunning vistas.
The house also features a roof terrace offering an amazing 360-degree panorama of the whole Sitges area. What we love most about The Charleston is not just the grand opulence of the house and gardens but also the magnificent location at the quieter and more exclusive end of the Paseo Maritimo.
The stunning beachfront position is ideal for families, and there are a number of fashionable beach bars and cafes within easy reach, yet it is still comfortably away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre.

All rooms enjoy sensational views to Sitges, the Mediterranean, and Garraf national park and there are plenty of terraces and balconies to take it all in.
GARDEN & POOL: The garden is a stunning private oasis with a beautiful 8m x 5m swimming pool as its centrepiece. At once expansive and tranquil, the gardens feature a central fountain wrapped with benches and flower beds and lit with lanterns.
To the rear is a shaded colonnade and the opportunity to relax in a tree strung double hammock. The lawned area is studded with palm trees and seasonal colour. The garden wraps around the full perimeter of the house running past the main terrace to the front.
The swimming pool has a lounge area and easy access to an external shower/washroom.
For outdoor dining you have a full dining table for up to 12 people with the use of a Weber BBQ and external utility area.
Also available for the more active is a table tennis table.
The ground floor space is divided by an elegant hallway lined with intricate glass paned doors spreading light throughout. To the back of the house is the elegant dining area that leads to the newly renovated kitchen fully equipped with American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, gas hob and extractor.
On the ground floor there is a sizeable washroom and further WC. Across the hallway you are greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the mediterranean.
This is a bright and spacious area divided delicately into 3 bright and alcoves featuring a comfortable lounge area and study that opens out to the wrap around large seafront terrace.
The terrace enjoys ample furniture for exterior lounging.
From the central hallway the grand staircase leads to the first floor and 4 double rooms, all with fitted wardrobes, 3 with terraces/balconies and each with breathtaking views.
The master room with en-suite and walk in wardrobe sits at the front of the house enjoying full views of sunrise and sunset over the water from its very large terrace.
The further 3 double rooms, 2 of which are small doubles are set off a shared hallway with a family bathroom.
This bathroom can double as en-suite to one of the rooms.
UPPER FLOOR & ROOF TERRACE:
Leading up to the upper floor is the spacious and bright family room equipped with a double and single bed with seating and TV/stereo system.
This absolutely beautiful room leads out to 2 large terraces and on up to a roof top terrace with full 360 views over the sea, Sitges, Garraf and beyond.
The rooftop is the highest of all the homes on the sea front so enjoys a stunning perspective – a perfect place for yoga at sunrise or cava at sunset.
OTHER INFORMATION: There is A/C in all the bedrooms.
Unfortunately, The Charleston is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Although The Charleston has been fully restored to its original grandure, and whilst every effort is made for your full comfort and enjoyment of this beautiful period property, when choosing to stay at The Charleston clients are asked to bear in mind that the house is traditional in build and nature.

Sitges Hills Villas was formed in 2010. The Sitges Hills Villas mission is simple – to build a limited collection of individually unique and high quality holiday villas located in a highly desirable holiday destination and backed by excellent standards of service. We have known for many years that this particular area of Catalunya is special and that it offers a unique holiday experience that is simply not available in most of Mediterranean Spain. When an opportunity presented itself to market a small number of high quality homes in this area we didn't hesitate to take it, and the Sitges Hills Villas brand was born. Since then we have gradually increased our portfolio with high quality properties that we believe make great holiday homes and that we would be happy to spend our holiday

There is a train station in Sitges that goes to the airport and into the middle of Barcelona in 35 minutes.
Sitges is a well equipped town and has all the amenities required for a great holiday. Its packed with cool bars and good restaurants.
