About the Owner

The house was part of a former working farm. It has been owned by our family for 16 years and sympathetically restored, maintaining many of the original features. We now travel extensively, but still enjoy our summers in France. We know how important it is to feel welcome and offer a comfortable home from home experience, whilst exploring a new and fascinating area. You will be met on site by ourselves or our friends, who will give you any information you require.

Rural French Gite with welcoming hosts

  • 5 of 5

Truly wonderful gite with all the quirkiness of real french life, rural with just a hint of life running through the village. Fantastic place to rest, relax and unwind. Cosy with wood burner and super comfy beds. Carole and Alan make super hosts for local info and places to see. Always around to offer help if needed.

Beautiful farmhouse in lovely countryside

  • 5 of 5

The farmhouse was everything as described, very well maintained and clean, it was really home from home and was a nice surprise as was much larger than we thought. The location was perfect for us as it was quiet and peaceful. We made good use of the patio eating al fresco morning and evening. The kitchen was well equipped for eating in.

We enjoyed the area, the fabulous big markets in St Cast and Dinan and many others, lots to see and do including walks along the coast. We would certainly recommend to friends and family and will return again. Alan and Carole are superb hosts.

Lovely house, perfect for a family holiday

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely house, very spacious and with a sunny private garden. With three young children, the house was ideal for all the requirements of a young family. Carole and Alan were very welcoming and were on hand if anything was needed whilst also respecting our privacy. We visited a number of places, all within easy reach including St Malo, Dinan, Rennes and Mont-Saint Michel. The beaches at Saint Cast were ideal for children.
