A spacious 1 bedroom apartment with balconies front and back. It sleeps 4 and is approximately 10 minutes walk to the busy seafront of Cabanas De Tavira, which has an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. It is close to local amenities and Benamor Golf Course is just a few minutes walk away. There is also the option to use a pool at a nearby complex for a small charge. The apartment is spacious and newly furnished. It has a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The lounge door has a pull down blind for extra privacy when the sofa bed is in use. Bathroom, modern fully fitted kitchen, large lounge and fully air conditioned. South facing back balcony with sun from mid morning until sunset. Internet is available for a small extra charge.

Perfect place to stay

We have just returned from a wonderful week, the apartment was exactly as described - superb, it has everything you could possibly wish for and more! The location is great. Paula is very friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge. There are many excellent local restaurants and bars, the town of Tavira is a short drive away, or you can easily take the train. We had excellent weather the whole week and it very easy to just chill out - just what needed! Definitely intend returning!

Lovely apartment. Home from home and very clean.

Loved the apartment. Everything you need and very convenietly located in a quieter part of Cabanas. Train station close by making visits to the rest of Algarve very easy. Janet and Leon the owners were a pleasure to deal with. Will certainly use again. Excellent

Clean and Well Maintained Apartment

We have just returned from a 4 week stay in this apartment, everything we needed was there for an extended stay.

The pictures shown are a true and accurate description of apartment, which was clean and well maintained. The owner and representative were available to advise on local amenities and answer questions.

We have already recommended this apartment to family and friends.

It has easy access to the Algarve (local train - 2 minutes walk); Beach; Bars; Restuarants and shops.

We did not hire a car and found the public transport timely and reliable.

We would definitely be happy to book this apartment again.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful place.

I visited Cabanas with my 10 year old son at the end of May, beginning of June and found the apartment exceeded my expectations. It is VERY well appointed with everything and more that you could need and was spotless.

This was my first time in Portugal and I was impressed by the area, the food and the friendly folk. The beach in particular is amazing with the short ferry crossing to it an added bonus.

At the time we were there it was quiet which suited us - plenty of space on the beach and no problem getting a table at any of the restaurants.

A great holiday in a lovely apartment with good food and friendly locals. What more can you ask for?

Our stay in Janet and Leon's apartment was everything that was described on the website. It was very clean and comfortable, well equipped and every attention to detail has been adhered to. Janet was extremely easy to liaise with and all my questions were answered. Lean provided extensive directions, including a map that allowed us to find the apartment easily. Janet's instructions regarding transport also made our journey very easy. Paula, who manages the apartment was also very helpful and cared for our every need. She was extremely friendly and was on hand whenever we needed any help.

Excellent holiday, excellent apartment

It was our first time in Portugal and we fell in love with Cabanas. The area is very traditional and excellent value for money. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Janet the owner has been extremely helpful throughout and on arrival we were met by Paula who was an excellent tour guide showing us around the area on our arrival. The local facilities met all our needs and the beach was lovely. Recommend a visit to Villa Real on the train. We will be back. Thank you

Location

Coast/Beach:

10 minutes walk to seafront at Cabanas where you can catch a water taxi to the beautiful unspoilt main beach where there are sunbeds and parasols, a restaurant and a bar. There are boat trips available to see the local sights and wildlife.

Travel:

35 Minutes from Faro Airport. Car not essential. Train station within 200 metres.

Distances:

Tavira 10 minute drive, faro 35 minute drive, Santa Luzia 10 minute drive, Spanish border at Villa Real 25 minute drive. Seville approx 90 minute drive.

Further Details:

Well stocked supermarket, pharmacy, fishmonger and cafe 3- 5 minutes walk away. Several cashpoints within a few minutes walk. The restaurants in Cabanas are exceptional especially if you like seafood . The local house wines are very good and reasonably priced .
