Villa Ceuli has been tastefully restored, with great attention to convenience and comfort, yet still retaining its wonderful ambience, complete with its own chapel and swimming pool. It is situated on the edge of a charming village, with a small and welcoming community. Experience life away from the tourist turmoil, yet within easy reach of the best sites in Tuscany. It is an ideal holiday destination. The district, famous for its superb wines and olive oil, is a picturesque and genuinely Italian part of Tuscany. Our diverse range of excellent local restaurants allows you to experience the very best of Tuscan cuisine. This large apartment (220 sq.m over 2 floors) is part of the old granery, with its wonderful Italianate facade. Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The ground floor is a huge space, divided by 2 brick arches, separating the beautifully appointed kitchen from the comfortable lounge area. A large stone fireplace completes the picture. These rooms open onto a small private garden for outdoor entertaining. Here you will find everything you need for a wonderful holiday.

My husband and I and our 4 kids just spent the most idyllic 12 nights in Rick and Desley’s absolutely gorgeous home. The stunning online pictures actually didn’t do justice to how beautiful their home is. The bedrooms are all a really great size and are beautifully decorated with really comfortable beds and pillows. Bedrooms are all en suite with clean,modern bathrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay The house was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The grounds of the property are authentically Tuscan with gorgeous courtyards and gardens and a beautiful little chapel dated from the 1600’s. The pool area was really clean and the pool was a welcome respite from the daily 38 degree weather. We found a well stocked supermarket about 7 mins away, a few restaurants were very nearby. Rick and Desley were amazing to deal with from start to finish. They answered all our questions and emails instantaneously. We would very happily stay in their beautiful home again on our next trip to Tuscany. Thank you Rick and Desley!

This is a lovely house. It is spacious, well equipped, tastefully decorated and the pool is an added bonus. We had a great time here.

Wonderful Villa Ceuli in Tuscany

Tastefully restored old granary! Three big bedrooms with own bathrooms. Wonderful viewes from the pool. The only thing we were missing was air-conditioning, because it was almost 40 degrees (Celsius) outside.

Luxury villa with all you need for a great stay

Villa Cevoli is a lovely converted granary where the owners have taken care to restore the property and create an ideal property for families to relax in the Tuscany countryside. We stayed at the property as a family of 5 (2 parents, 2 grandparents, teenage daughter) and each had a luxurious bedroom with en suite bathroom. Although the weather outside was hot, the temperature in the rooms, for the most part, stayed reasonable due to the thick stone walls and provided fans (although it certainly helped keeping the shutters closed during the day). Kitchen and BBQ (gas) facilities are modern with everything we needed. Although the owners live abroad, the local property managers (Cinzia and Massimo) respond quickly to any requests. We had a few (very small) issues which were solved within hours of us mentioning them - great attention to detail. The villa is located in a group of villas/apartments which are all privately owned and share a nice sized swimming pool which is a short two minute walk. The pool was never very busy, and kept very clean. There is a nice-sized and well-stocked supermarket (Conad) a five minute drive from the villa, and the center of Pisa is a short 30-35 minute drive away, as is the airport. The villa is also not too far from Florence and Siena. Whilst at the villa definitely plan to wander around the village of Bolgheri to experience Tuscan hospitality - on Rick's recommendation we ate at Enoteca Tognoni and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Recommended!

We, Desley and Rick Everingham, have lived in this region for the past 20 years. I, Rick, have been a professional artist in Australia for 50 years. We first experienced Italy in 1977, when we toured Europe with our two small sons. We fell in love with the culture, the patina of life, and the people. Our real passion began in 1991, when we came to collect material for an exhibition of Italian paintings I held in Brisbane that year. Why they chose this property

We had lived in a house in nearby Soiana for 15 years, and had grown to love this region and its inhabitants. We first fell in love with the wonderful ambience of Villa Ceuli many years ago, and once it was being renovated we were able to buy part of this magnificent property. It truly has an incredible feeling to it. We love creating comfortable and conducive living spaces, and are happy to share this special place with others.

What makes this property unique

Villa Ceuli has been divided into 13 apartments, but it is not a tourist holiday complex. Most of the owners use their properties solely for their own personal holidays, so the villa is usually very quiet. It has a lovely peaceful ambience all the time, which is very relaxing.
