Great accomodation

Perfect accomodation. We have stayed here 3 times and wouldn't consider anywhere else. Spotlessly clean. Dogs safe as garden is enclosed.

Perfect in every way. A hidden gem!

This was our first stay for the two of us and our dog at High Tide. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The property was spotless in every room and so well equipped. There was nothing you needed that wasn't to hand. We are veterans of renting holiday property in the UK, having stayed in approximately 35 homes around the country since we retired 5 years ago. Without doubt this property is one of the best within this price range. It is a semi detached two bed bungalow with big secure garden for the dog or kids. Entrance is at the side up one small step (ok for semi disabled) into a hallway with large kitchen immediately on the left and bathroom on the right with combined w.c, basin, and bath/shower. At the end of the hall is the main bedroom door which leads left into a very large room with big double bed and good storage space. Turning right off the hall leads to the second bedroom with twin singles and a wardrobe & chest of drawers. The lounge is accessed via an open entrance (no door) to the left of the second bedroom and is very spacious with two large leather sofas (one two, one three seater) and has a dining table with chairs, a large display cabinet with games and books, and a 32" HD TV with Sky HD box...such a bonus at night and no comparison to the usual Freeview fare! The property also has free Sky Wi-Fi included...a Godsend in this day and age and something not all homeowners have yet twigged is becoming a necessity. The icing on the cake comes off the back of the lounge in the shape of a massive sun room / conservatory with dining table for 10/12 and two really comfy leather armchairs for sitting reading or just chilling and contemplating letting the world pass you by! Off the sun room is the exit to the large secure garden (down one small step again) which has a large table with seating for 6 for those warm al fresco evenings!

The property is so clean and nicely decorated that it's a pleasure to stay in but you can't come to Pembrokeshire without going out. For those that like shopping (on those bad days weather wise) there are several towns within a reasonable distance worth a visit. Camarthen, Haverfordwest, & Pembroke Dock all have the usual outlets, and for the scenery lovers Saundersfoot with it's harbour is very picturesque. Tenby is idyllic and stunning, and Carew Castle is worth a visit. Chill at Amroth & Wiseman's Bridge looking out to sea. We would recommend this property to all and can't wait to go back next year!

High Tide

  • 5 of 5

Although at the time of booking there were no photos available, we went ahead and booked anyway confidant that the bungalow would be as delightful as the Layton's other holiday property - 'Day Dreams'. We were not disappointed! The bungalow is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, generously equipped and extremely comfortable. It has ample parking and a secure rear garden. We loved the addition of the sun-room with it's large dining table and chairs, and cosy reclining chairs, making even dull days enjoyable. We are looking forward to our second week there in early summer and have no hesitation in recommending this property to family, friends or anyone else.

What a place!

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a long weekend in Saundersfoot with our family and two dogs. Marie-Louise was extremely helpful from the beginning providing us with all the information we needed to make our decision to book. She also provided excellent directions.

The bungalow was perfect, it was clean, modern and very well maintained. We have rarely stayed at self catering accommodation which was so well furnished and equipped.

There was plenty of room for all the family especially with the added conservatory area which we fully utilised when the kids were on their computer games in the living room! The SKY TV was also a bonus when the weather wasn't too great.

The property is in an excellent position, close to the village and beach but far enough away from the centre that you miss the bustle and traffic.

There is plenty going on in Saundersfoot with plenty of places to eat and drink. A visit to the Pembrokeshire Brewing company on The Ridgeway is a must as are fish and chips from the place in the harbour!

We would definitely book this property again!
