About the Owner

We fell in love with Shaldon on holiday in 2013 so much so we bought a holiday home in October that year. We travelled every weekend to Shaldon from the Midlands and in July 2014 we decided to downsize and re-locate to Shaldon and we have never looked back since.

Everyone is very friendly and made us feel so welcome. We have made many friends and our children often comment that we have more of a social life than they do as there is always so much going on in the village!

We decided to buy a second property in the village so that others can experience what we did and leave with many happy memories.

A lovely spot! Apartment was great with everything you could ask for and more! Nicola could not have been more helpful. We loved Shaldon and have already booked again for next year.

Lovely Stay in Shaldon

  • 5 of 5

Situated in the pretty village of Shaldon, we stayed for 10 days in this beautiful apartment which was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the hamper treats and the extra touches like dressing gowns and slippers.

Nicola you have thought of everything and thank you so much for your kindness to us. We hope to be back next year. Tina and Frank

"Little Gem"

  • 5 of 5

This delightful property delivered on all promises! The hostess, Nicola, was most informative and surprised us with a few very "considerate" treats. We shall definitely return and recommend the accommodation to the discerning visitor.

Stunning superb well equipped apartment

  • 5 of 5

Our second stay here in Shaldon and osbourne hse, so good we came here twice. Super home from home apartment right in the heart of the village. Although no parking this wasn't an issue because we got to walk to the car in stunning surroundings. Paid £22 for the week with 'ring and go' parking app then came and went. It even reminds you when your parking is going to run out.

Back to the apartment and couldn't fault it. Thanks for a lovely stay again Nicola and Brian see you soon xxx

Ness Beach is approximately a 10 minute walk away and accessed via the Smugglers' tunnel.

Travel:

Exeter Airport is about 25mins away.

The nearest station Teignmouth is just over a mile from the apartment. Newton Abbot station is 3 miles away.

There is also a fish and chip shop. The 'surfing' bakers sell great pasties and sandwiches, as well as bread! However, if you do want to cook you can't beat buying meet at G T Orsman, the local award winning butchers.

There are 2 hairdressers and the Beauty Hut.

There is so much to do with a small zoo, The Botanical Gardens, Golf Course, Beaches etc.
