This Large One Bedroom Apartment, with fitted Wardrobe, is Centrally located and is absolutely perfect for guests wishing to enjoy all aspects of life in Puerto Del Carmen and The Old Town, it is newly refurbished (Nov'14) all Appliances are Brand New and include Oven, Hob, Fridge, Microwave, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Plates & Cutlery, Iron and Ironing Board, Hair-dryer, Kettle & Toaster, Newly Fitted Kitchen with Granite Work Surfaces, Newly fitted Shower Room, New Windows and Doors, 2 x Sofa Beds, Key Lock for convenience, Safe, Free Wifi, Flat Screen LED TV offering British Channels incl BBC & ITV, (these are subject to change by the complex) As the Apartment is on a corner plot of the ground floor, there are private Gardens to the rear of this Apartment where you can enjoy outdoor privacy and tranquillity. The Complex houses two heated swimming pools, fitted with splash guards to protect Sun Bathers, Sun Beds are provided, along with beautiful extremely well maintained Gardens, communal toilets are situated in the Reception Area adjacent to the Pool, there is a Children's Play Area, consisting of Swings, a Slide, Little Tikes Play House and Child Friendly Flooring, A Football & Basketball Court are positioned at the rear of the Complex, Reception facilities are available between certain hours of the day, there is ramp access into the resort and also directly to the Apartment Front Door, which is great for Pushchair users, there is also a Main Entrance Security Keypad, just across the road is a good sized Supermarket for your convenience, should you wish to dine in... We have two apartments next door to each other on the Ground Floor, should you wish to Holiday with Friends or Family but still maintain a certain amount of Privacy.. The Complex also offers free parking for those who wish to hire a car, though this is really not necessary for an enjoyable action packed stay, taxi's are very reasonable and there are plenty of them close by, however all attractions offer free buses. Any Tours/Attractions required during your stay, we are happy to book prior to your Holiday and deliver the vouchers upon your arrival with full details. This will cost you no more than booking direct with tour operators, these can also be booked after your arrival at no extra cost, details of how to book will be given on request...

Very clean appartment

Had a lovely stay, were met by Alison & Lee the owners very nice couple, they very kindly arranged balloon banner & cake to surprise my wife for her birthday. Also left us a starter pack, milk coffee tea sugar, water, cheese, ham, bread, butter, which was really thoughtful. Apartment is nice and clean and has everything you need, would recommend this apartment, we have no doubt we will visit again. Thank you Brian & Isla.

Lovely apartment and great location!

We were met by the lovely owner and showed to the apartment. They had provided an essentials shop for us which was very kind.

The apartment was spotless and in a great location for the beach and old town. The complex itself was clean and the swimming pool area was very safe for little kids. All the information I was after was in the folder provided.

We will definitely be back!

Excellent Apartment

As other reviews have said, an superb apartment, spotlessly clean with more than adaquate cooking facilities. All basics provided and a nice touch to have bread, milk,cheese,cold meats etc provided when you arrive. The complex was quiet and the pool very good.

Location is fine,5 mins from the old town and bit further to the strip but easy walking distance. A really good Spar across the road and a new Lidl 5 mins walk up the road.There is aso an excellent fishmonger just up the road next to some really nice bars.

We have been to lanzarote several times and this is the best apartment we have stayed in and will be booking to stay again.

Great holiday

We arrived for a one week stay over half term holidays and were met by Alli and Lee after a short taxi ride from the airport. They were very welcoming and showed us all we needed to know and left us a few essentials like bread, milk teabags etc. They had even organised a fold down bed for our daughter so we didn't have to use the settee. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. We had Alli's contact details should we have encountered any problems.

The pool area was quiet although the weather was cooler than usual. The old town is a beautiful area (5 minutes walk away) with loads of restaurants. We ate out every night and the food was delicious everywhere we went - I would happily have gone back to any of them. A couple of the restaurants were recommended by Alli. One thing worth doing is to walk around (about 3 miles) the coast to the next resort Puerto Calero. This is a beautiful walk along the coast to a quiet harbour with a few more shops and restaurants at it.

If you walk the other direction from the apartment you are close to the "strip" which is a few miles of shops, restaurants, bars etc along the sea front.

Overall a really good place for a holiday and a really clean, handy apartment with all you need for your stay.

Fantastic

Your review needs some work

Have just returned home having spent 3 weeks in this apartment is exactly as described, everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived, the apartment is equipped with everything you need on holiday plus more. The bed was very comfortable, linen and towels were clean and fresh, changed weekly, you do however have a washing machine so can freshen towels if you want to.

The owner met us when we arrived, explained everything and said there is a small welcome pack for you to get you started, consisted of water, tea, coffee,bread, butter, ham, cheese, milk, not exactly small!! Lovely touch and meant we could have a coffee and snack.

Had to contact the owner over a small issue, this was dealt with immediately, she also recommended some very fine restaurants to us(we tried them all).

We would most definitely recommend this apt to anyone wishing to take a short break or have a longer stay, it was perfect in everyway, we will be returning,

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Arrecife at 11 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

The local beach in the Old Town is called 'Playa Chica' and is only a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. This beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling or just chilling out in the sun. At weekends you will find the locals down here with their BBQs and beer!

The main sandy white beaches of Puerto Del Carmen are to be found along the main boulevard, which is only 15 mins walk from the apartment. Further afield you can find the white beaches of Papagayo, near Playa Blanca about 25 mins drive.

Travel:

The complex is only 10 mins drive/taxi ride from Arrecife airport. Taxis and buses are readily available outside the 'Biosfera' shopping centre which is 2 mins walk from the apartment. We are very happy to advise you on recommended car hire companies if required during your stay, although car hire is not essential with all amenities within walking distance.

Distances:

It is very easy to get taxis and buses to most parts of the island from the Old Town.

The capital town 'Arrecife' is 10 mins drive, or 15 min bus ride away and you can get on or off a bus anywhere along the main boulevard.

Costa Teguise is 20 mins drive, or 40 mins bus ride - same bus stops as for Arrecife.

Playa Blanca is 30 mins drive or 45 mins bus ride. Buses go from the Old Town.

Fees No additional mandatory fees

Booking Notes:
Tariff rates are for up to 2 persons staying in the apartment. There is a charge of £65.00 per week for every extra person up to 4. £100 per week deposit payable on confirmation of bookings. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure. We also take a £100 security/breakages deposit when the final balance is paid, and this is refunded at the end of your holiday. All guests should have holiday insurance.

Changeover Day:
Bookings are normally from 14:00hrs (checkin) to 10:00hrs (checkout), any day. We can be flexible on late checkout depending on whether we have other guests arriving, and there is a surcharge for this, which is £10.00 per guest. Please note that all guests should have Holiday Insurance.

Cleaning:
1hr cleaning is included in the price following your stay, any further cleaning required will be charged at the rate of £20.00 per hour thereafter.
