A semi detached house in a convenient but quiet location, with easy access to the "Denes" opposite and beach, which is excellent for dog walking. A road train runs from the Haven caravan site along the sea front by the house into town, and a bus runs from Hembsy into town during the seasonal months .It is about a 20 minutes flat easy walking into town .The situation is good either to stay or to explore other lovely places in Norfolk. A welcome pack is provided for further local information.
The house is comfortably furnished and fully equipped .
All linen is provided for your stay.
There is a small garden to the front, and a secure enclosed small rear garden.
Upstairs there are two double beds and one single (electric) bedrooms with tv and video player and radios. There is currently only one bathroom, with overbath shower. .
Downstairs there is lounge with recliner settees ; tv video and stereo * small dining room: and large dining/kitchen. , fully equipped ( although you have to bring your own dishwasher) The front porch is a great place to sit and watch the world go by.
Free off road parking in service road in front.of the house

I love being out and about with my dogs and there are lots of places around to take them

The property was very clean, comfortable,well equipped and really home from home. Couldn't fault anything and will certainly be returning. The owner was very friendly,helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him on the occasions I spoke to him. The property is ideally situated for dog walking which sadly we missed out on as Charlie Springer had injured himself. However we made more than good use of the 18 hole pitch and putt course just minutes down the road! All in all a really lovely weeks break.
great house very comfortable got everything you want, location perfect Rosie the retriever loved being so near the beach. Welcome pack really appreciated will definitely be back .

What a lovely house. Warm, comfortable, plenty of space and everything that you could wish for. A lovely, and very much welcomed, tea tray on our arrival. Handy for Yarmouth and all of the other sites. Stayed here with my mum and a teenage son and there was enough space for all of us. Highly recommended and would love to stay here again. Many Thanks
Fabulous home from home property and obviously a very caring owner and dog lover! Arrived to a pint of milk in the fridge and dog biscuits in bowls for our two border collies! Great location and the owner certainly cares for the house and his visiting guests comfort and enjoyment. Highly recommend this property.

“I have loved visiting Norfolk for many years. There are so many places of interest to visit, lovely countryside, waterways and sea , and lovely beaches. The road network is relatively quiet, yet makes for easy travelling around.”
Activity and Interests
on the other side of the road is a grassland area leading to sand dunes and then the beach. it takes about 3 minutes gentle walking to reach the waters edge. to access the beach by road you need to drive about 600 yards towards a café (where parking charges may apply). A flat promenade enables easy walking into town about 20 minutes .
for easy location the house is opposite a white shelter on the sea front.
Norwich is the nearest airport , and Felixstowe and Harwich are the main ports. The main railway station is in great Yarmouth about 2 miles distant.
While a car is most convenient for exploring the area there are very good bus services running into and from great Yarmouth.
there is a road train runs into the town centre from opposite during the season.
The town of great Yarmouth is about one mile with its shopping and restaurants.....and amusements and entertainments
A trip to the Hippodrome for its ice/circus shows
Caister is about two miles away (Roman ruins :castle and car museum) Lifeboat museum :Golf course small local shops and another dogs allowed beach and walks.
Winterton : 5 miles .a picturesque village superb pub food and glorious sand dunes and beach.
Norwich :about half an hours drive or by train the fascinating city of , with historic buildings and major shopping outlets.
Easy access to several "Broads" Oulton being the busiest.
Several places around for river/ broads cruises and boat hiring.
many lovely churches around the county and lots of quiet country lanes .
superb sandy beaches all along the coast. (most dog friendly)
Lots of lovely village pubs many doing good food

It has easy access to the town, while being in a quiet location, and has a service road to the adjacent properties for free on road parking The garden while small is easily managed. sadly I can do nothing about the new service tarrif that Homeand Away have introduced.”

- Notes on accommodation: PETS ARE MOST WELCOME Regret No CHILDREN under the age of 14 STRICTLY NO SMOKING Outside: at the front is a small garden mainly laid to lawn with low brick wall The rear garden is small but secure (for dogs) mainly laid to lawn with a small area with garden furniture. There are both back and side gates(padlocked) for access There is currently a brick outbuilding with plan for creating extra toilet and has BBq and canvas relaxer chairs stored for your use. There is also a rotary clothes line.(you have to find the hole in the lawn ...lol) The garden may need to be attended to during your stay.(depending on the gardener and weather) Cleaning done prior to arrival All linen is provided including bedding towels and tea towels. There is ample extra in the airing cupboard if required.
