Apartment in Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Location, 2 Minutes Walk To The Beach

This apartment is extremely luxurious, with a huge roof terrace overlooking the sea. You can see as far as Gibraltar and the tip of Africa on a clear day. The apartment is one below the penthouse, right at the top of the block. There is a private swimming pool and a secure parking space below the building. The beach is 3 minutes 5 seconds walk from the front door (carefully timed!) and there are no fewer than 7 restaurants and 8 bars within a five minute walk. There are 4 supermarkets of various qualities also within 5 minutes walk. This is a quiet, beautifully looked after Spanish part of Marbella. You can walk to the party district but are not in the middle of it.

Fantastic appartment excellent location

My wife and I stayed in this apartment in August for 13 nights.From the moment we parked our car in the underground car and took the lift to the top floor and entered the apartment to see the view from the terrace which we fell in love with immediately

The apartment is very spacious and all the furniture and facilities are top class.

We often loved to sit out on the Balcony watching the Sun go down while eating Dinner.

The flat is in a nice location a short Stroll to the Beach.

We often used to walk into Porto Banus early in the morning on the footpath a 10k walk.

Alex you have a very nice apartment I am sure we will return.

Lovely apartment with great views in a fantastic location

We had a lovely week in August with our two daughters (9 and 6 years old).

The location is perfect:

- The beach is only a few minutes walk away and is clean and not too busy. There is a lovely promenade with a good range of restaurants, some more up market and some perfect for breakfast/lunch and that are very family-friendly.

- The old town is only 20 minutes walk away and there are some good restaurants and shops.

- There is a good store 200m away for picking up essentials and Lidl is also close by. Aldi is five minutes up the road too.

- It's easy to get to the main highway and access to interesting places nearby (Puerto Banus, Ronda, Mijas Waterpark etc) is good.

The apartment itself would be great for a couple and was perfect for us as we used the sofa bed in the living room whilst the kids had the bedroom. The balcony is great for a few drinks in the evening once the kids have gone to bed. The apartment is clean, very secure and has everything you need and the air conditioning was great after a day at the beach. It feels much more like a home than a holiday rental.

The advice is to use the pool at the hotel next door and this is certainly a good option for couples as the views are great and there is a bar on the terrace. However, the pool shared by the apartments is also very nice - it was quiet and is perfect for kids as it is a nice size and the water is not too deep (our six year old could stand up easily).

So no hesitation in giving this a five star rating! Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

Big, sunny beautiful apartment

Just thinking back to my stay at Alex's apartment just makes me remember how lovely our stay at this apartment was. I stayed here with my son, who is 7 years old. We had so much fun being moments away from the beach and having two swimming pools to choose from was a dream for a 7 year old.

The views from the apartment are spectacular. There are so many things to do near the apartment. We enjoyed trips along the coast as well as cycling along the promenade, segway rides, swimming daily in both pools and walking into the centre of Marbella.

Alex was a pleasure to deal with, no question went unanswered and it was the perfect home from home.

5* View!

We've just returned from a month's stay here & as everyone says, the view is without doubt the crowning glory of this very nice apartment. The location is ideal, being a stone's throw from the beach & paseo but really handy for the nightlife & facilities of the town whilst being situated in a very classy area, so you've no worries walking back late at night. If you walk up to the main road & head in the direction of Puerto Banus there are more restaurants that you may not realize are there, as well as a couple of large supermarkets just 5-10mins walk away. The taxis are just round the corner & very reasonable & the whole area around is very quiet. The apartment itself is well furnished with everything you could need & the large terrace is such a lovely place to sit. We managed lots of breakfasts & lunches out there even in February but in summer you would probably not want to move away from it, the sunsets were just lovely. We would be happy to stay here again & feel that it is a great apartment & extremely good value for money.

Autumn Heaven

We have just arrived back from an extended break in this apartment. The apartment was everything that we had been promised, it was clean and well maintained, the owner Alex was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The view from the terrace cannot be beaten, on a clear day you can see Gibraltar and the coast of Africa. Well situated for the beach, shopping and sight seeing, plenty of nearby good quality restaurants and a selection of supermarkets within easy reach. Truly for us it was Autumn Heaven and we did not want to leave.

Great location

Alex was perfect with her description of her apartment. We had a great time -with friendly Spanish neighbours & breakfast views of Gibraltar daily from the terrace. Restaurants bars & beach all close & tried. We would recommend highly.

Location

I bought this apartment because: It's new, clean, everything works (!), the view is fantastic, it's really large for a one bed, the terrace is massive and despite being in the centre of town, it's really quiet. You can easily walk to many bars and restaurants. An aspect I love is the shutters. You can bring down the shutters and the apartment is totally dark, whatever the time of day. So if you do need that Spanish siesta, you can sleep soundly. It is in a Spanish block and surrounded by Spanish blocks so there aren't many tourists immediately around. I bought in the area because: It's not typically Costa del Sol - it's much more upmarket than a number of the towns along the coast. Marbella is a micro-climate so it's shielded from the wild and benefits from the sun all year

Coast/Beach:

3 minutes maximum to the beach on foot

There is a 'paseo' i.e. a walk way which runs along the beach and it very well looked after and good for running or walking along. 40 minutes walk to Puerto Banus from my apartment.

The beaches are beautiful, clean, sand beaches. There are sun beds to rent.

Travel:

40 minutes drive from Malaga airport. Car hire would be useful but not necessary.

If you do not wish to drive, there is a good bus service from Malaga airport - I have the timetable should you need it.

Distances:

The apartment is in the centre of Marbella. Restaurants, bars, shops, cafes less than 5 minutes walk.

Further Details:

Marbella is on the beach, with a beautiful promenade the whole way along. There are bars, restaurants and shops every few yards.

If you want time out of the town, there are mountains behind Marbella with wonderful view walks, organised by the tourist office. There are many biking trails - mountain biking and road biking and Tarifa, 1hr 15 minutes away is the kite surfing capital of Europe.

Closer to home, the block you will be staying in overlooks the Gran Melia hotel, which has tennis courts you can rent out. There are tennis racquets and balls in the apartment you can use.

I enjoy the pool at the Senator Spa Hotel! There is a fantastic pool and two jacuzzi which you can enter through the building, rather than having to walk around. Just jump in my lift and then across to theirs. There is a 360 degree view of Marbella and you can get drinks delivered to your sun bed in the summer. I have two Senator towels in the hall cupboard so you'll feel at home.
