Lovely house in a fantastic location.
Location of the property was superb minutes from Orange Square and the sea. The house is very clean and modern yet the owners have retained some of the original features. Fantastic roof terrace for drinks and meals. Easy walking distance to bus station and highly recommend a trip to Ronda.
Good town centre position
Good position for Marbella old town. Steep stairs throughout property
Roof terrace nice but no outside table to enjoy al fresco dining or BBQ which is a shame as could make more use of outside area.
Very good- great location, good restaurants and ammenites close by, within walking distance of beach
Really liked this house in Old Town Marbella, spotlessly clean, well equipped and well located. Enjoyed stay - very happy with everything.
Six Week Stay in Delightful Traditional Home in Old Marbella
This was a pleasant traditional home in the 'Antiguo Casco' (Old Town) of Marbella. The home was exactly as described by the owners and there were no negative surprises. If you are looking for the latest modern luxury, this may not be the home for you, But if you want a comfortable residence and genuine 'Spanish' experience in a fantastic location, then I highly recommend this home. Although there are three stories and the steps are quite steep, our little three year old grand-daughter had absolutely no problem negotiating the stairway. The two terraces on the third floor are a real asset!!!! Even if is is a tad cool outdoors, the terraces are protected and almost always warm and pleasant. We were in Marbella for six weeks during the winter and early spring and almost everyday could sit out and enjoy a meal or aperitifs on the terrace. But even in the heat of summer, I would think it would be quite agreeable as there is an awning that opens up to protect one from the sun.
There is no bathtub but a shower and the washroom is on the first floor. However, as aforementioned, this is a traditional home and the fantastic location of the house makes up for any inconvenience this may cause. It is on a quiet and extremely quaint street near shops, the never-ending beach and restaurants galore! There is no internet and in the winter months, it is a tad more difficult to find cafés and restaurants that offer free wifi but as the season progresses, more and more establishments open up and offer this service. If you are enjoying only a short stay, this should be no problem. If you plan to stay longer, contact the owner for suggestions on what you can do to obtain internet during your stay. The owners appear to be very willing to accommodate specific needs. For example, we had a young baby and the owners bought a cot for the house for the baby to sleep in. They will also answer questions and offer advice concerning transportation between Malaga airport and the house, etc.
We were very satisfied with our relationship with the owners and would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a comfortable, excellently located, and authentic stay in Marbella! 5/5!!!!
Beautiful town, great location
We stayed in December and the location of the place is ideal. Located in the heart of the old town area, there are numerous cafes and shops just around the corner. It is a lively area, but the street where the house is on is just off of the pedestrian route so you do not get the noise or traffic. The place itself is nice, but very bare bones. The kitchen was recently redone and it appeared to us that no one had stocked it since its remodel, so it was missing a few things like garbage bags and a good knife (the ones there were small). The rest of the house is nice and clean, but it is an older property so character should be expected. There were no extra blankets, which would have been nice because the nights get cold and there is no central heating. The owner provided two heaters, but it is a large place. The property manager, Gloria, was wonderful and very responsive.
Great place at a great location
Stuart's apartment is great. Very well equipped, it shows that it's been recently renovated. It's also in a great location, in the middle of the old town area, yet free parking was available a couple minutes walk away.
Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay here again.
From the Owner
“We find that Marbella has a perfect blend of everything that makes a great holiday. Sun, clean sandy beaches, great night-life, restaurants, Spanish culture and interesting, friendly people. We love Marbella, but specifically the Old Town. Its an eclectic mix of chic boutique shopping, authentic food and charming streets with beautiful traditional Spanish houses.”
Activity and Interests
The house is only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Marbella beaches, which stretch for miles. You can walk along the beach front promenade enjoying the bars, restaurants and many shops, or if you prefer you can hire a beach sun lounger and parasol for only €6 for the whole day.
The nearest airport is Malaga, which is only 45 minutes drive away, easily accessible by car, taxi or bus. The house is only 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk from the Marbella bus station, which has a regular bus service to/from Malaga airport.
Most of Marbella Old Town is pedestrian only and due to the fabulous public transport (or easy taxi hire), a car is not essential in our experience. If you have a car, there are many public car parks nearby (details available on request).
4 miles/7 km from Puerto Banus.
40 miles/60 km from Ronda.
40 miles/60 km from Malaga.
Marbella Old Town is famous for it's historic architecture, beautiful old fashioned streets and plazas where you can sit back and relax, enjoy a drink and people watch. It has many boutique shops and museums and places to eat.
It is a short bus, taxi or ferry ride to Puerto Banus, which is famous for it's nightlife and designer shops. You can travel further afield if you would like and it is possible to book short excursions in Marbella to places such as Gibralter, Grenada and North Africa.

“The house is located in a charming, quiet and picturesque street close to many restaurants, shops and is only a five minute walk from the beach. It is a traditional Spanish townhouse, renovated in 2014, but we tried to keep all the traditional charming aspects of period properties in the area. You can relax with a glass of wine on the large double roof terrace, knowing you are a 2 minute walk from the famous Plaza de Los Naranjos, 5 minutes walk from the beach, or a short bus or taxi ride into Puerto Banus and beyond.”
