This beautiful villa is set on the outskirts of Flayosc in a tranquil position. It has been furnished to a very high specification and is surrounded by exquisitely maintained gardens with views over the surrounding countryside. The owners have travelled widely in Africa and Asia and the house is full of fascinating artefacts. Light and welcoming, this villa offers the opportunity for a truly luxurious holiday. The rooms are spacious, light and airy and all have views over the garden. Set in the countryside the property is only a 20 minute walk to the village. The walk is delightful following the irrigation canal all of the way without the need to walk along a road!

Notes on accommodation: This property is the owner's own home and as such has been furnished and equipped with the closest attention to detail. Everything is there down to an egg boiler in the kitchen. The furniture and fittings are of high quality and the addition of artefacts collected by the owner on his extensive travels adds to the atmosphere of this very special property. Outside: Externally the villa has two covered terraces. The first is just outside the kitchen and has table and seating for 8 people. There is a large awning to this terrace offering welcome shade in the height of the summer. A further covered terrace to the east of the villa is fitted as a summer kitchen with barbecue (additional single gas burner), preparation area, sink with hot and cold water and storage cupboards. On the pergola-covered terrace outside the lounge/dining area is a comfortable seating area. The gardens are delightful and the 8x 4.5m swimming pool is heated and has a shower offering hot and cold water next to it. There are a number of sun beds beside the pool and seating areas are to be found around the grounds. And, of course, there is a boules court for that essential game of boules or 'petanque'. Utility Room: Although there is no actual utility room all necessary equipment is provided including 2 washing machines (in a cupboard in the family bathroom), cleaning equipment, iron and ironing board etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels including 2 pool towels per person are provided and the property is cleaned at each changeover. However, additional cleaning and linen can be arranged at an extra charge (payable on site) should this be required.

A lovely villa in a very quiet location

We had 2 lovely weeks at Mas de Fin. As per the description it is very distinct with lots of personal possessions of the owners which was lovely. The real benefit of staying in someones "home" is that they had thought about things that would make it better to live in - for example a roll down awning and light curtains to shield the kitchen and eating area in the heat of the day made a huge difference. The pool and garden area was very beautiful with a lovely view . The only negatives were that the kitchen lacked work space when cooking for 8, although the outside kitchen with BBQ was very nice and helps a lot. Beds were all very comfortable - loved the view from the main bedroom out through the French doors. Would also have been useful to have seen a floor plan in the marketing materials as we really didn't have any idea on the size and layout of the property before we went, Thank you very much.

Lovely peaceful villa, open views, not overlooked

We have just returned from a delightful week at this lovely peaceful property.

Things we liked: Very comprehensive driving directions to the property.

Clean villa , well maintained.

Extremely comfortable beds.

Walking distance from lively village with wide selection of excellent restaurants and bakeries.

Beautiful gardens, pool and covered terraces.

Close to lovely Lac de St Croix

Plenty of storage space and coat hangers

Really appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine- thank you

Things that could be improved: Pool very cold. We had to turn the pool heating up.

Extortionate final cleaning charge in our opinion.

Living room area uncomfortable- not really a problem for us but might have been had the weather been inclement.

All in all we had a lovely holiday and would not hesitate in returning. Thank you.

The Riviera is only a short drive away - Ste Maxime, St Raphael, Cannes, Antibes amongst many other Mediterranean towns and villages. Of course St Tropez is also easily accessible - but remember to take a water taxi from Ste Maxime in the summer months to avoid the traffic jams to this popular resort situated on a peninsula! Don't forget that there are also beaches at Lac St Croix which are much quieter and just as good if not quite as glamorous as the Côte d'Azur!


The villa is easily accessed by air (Nice 90 kms, Toulon 79 kms and also Marseille), TGV train (Les Arcs-Draguignan - 15kms) and by road (Junction 36 at Le Muy, A8). Car hire is advisable if you wish to take advantage of all of the wonderful villages, the Gorge du Verdon and the coast. However, the village with a huge variety of shops and services is only 20 minutes by foot so visitors may be self sufficient without transport. There is a taxi company based in the village.


The delightful village of Tourtour is 13 km drive. Les Arcs with its lovely medieval quarter is 15 km. The fantastic Gorge du Verdon is less than one hour away. Avignon and its famous bridge is a 2 hour drive and Aix en Provence only 90 minutes. There is too much to see and too many places to visit in this beautiful area. And there's a Provençal market somewhere every day of the week.

Further Details:

The village is well equipped with 2 small supermarkets, butcher, 2 delicatessens,2 bakers, chemist, 3 doctors, a dentist, bank, post office, gift shops, 4 bars 3 of which serve food and (at last count) 8 restaurants! A famous truffle restaurant is to be found in a nearby village only 15 minutes' drive away. The local town of Draguignan is only 8 km away and has large supermarkets and a variety of shops. Provençal markets are held in the local villages every day of the week: Monday Flayosc, Tueday Lorgues, Wednesday Draguignan, Thursday Bargemom, Friday Le Luc en Provence, Saturday Aups and Draguignan, Sunday Le Muy, amongst many others. Flayosc is ideally situated half way between the spectacular Gorge du Verdon and the sophisticated Mediterranean coast. From here you can easily visit Monaco, Nice, Cannes, Antibes, St Tropez, Marseille and the wonderful cities of Aix-en-Provence, Avignon and Orange are accessible too.

Booking Notes:
25% deposit, is required to reserve the property. Full payment plus 750€ damage deposit is required 8 weeks before the letting commences. Guests are advised to ensure that they have adequate holiday insurance in case of unexpected cancellation.

Changeover Day:
In high season (July and August) changeover day is Saturday. However, out of these months arrival and departure days are flexible allowing the opportunity for 10 day breaks if requested.

Notes on prices:
Prices are inclusive of all linen (including pool towels), electricity and water. A 25% deposit is required on booking and the balance plus 750€ damage deposit must be paid 8 weeks before the holiday begins. The damage deposit will be repaid by internet banking within two weeks of the end of the holiday minus any charges for damage or excessive cleaning.
