Villa in Sierra Gorda, Nr. Coin, Costa del Sol (Inland), Spain - Great Location In Rural Andalucia But Only 20 Minutes From Marbella And Malaga

Stunning 3 bedroomed private detached Villa with enclosed private pool so completely safe for children, this Villa is really home from home. Inside their is UK TV, Wifi, a Wii consul including games, DVDs player, football table, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and a Dulce Gusto Coffee Machine, iPod docking station/ speaker, plenty of books to read as well as board games for all the family to enjoy. Outside there are 2 Terraces one sunny and one shaded, plus an outside seating area to relax as well as an outdoor dining table and chairs. There are also sun loungers by the pool, a BBQ as well as a grass area for playing. The views of the surrounding countryside are stunning and reach as far as the eye can see. Get ready for some beautiful sunsets as it disappears behind the mountains. Situated on Sierra Gorda and upmarket development of individual privately owned villas it is ideally situated for exploring Andalucia or just staying at home and relaxing. On the urbanisation is a Supermarket, a bar and Restaurant and a Padel Tennis Club. the indoor shopping centre La Trocha is just 2 mins by car with shops, cinema and cafes all located inside. The traditional Spanish town of Coin is just 7 mins by crawlers you find banks, shops, tapas and big supermarkets including Lidl. The airport is just 25 mins away whilst Malaga itself is just 20 mins away and well worth a visit, often overlooked by the tourists City is really stunning and home to the Picasso Museum. If you are a night owl don't worry, Marbella and Puerta Banus are just 20 and 25 mins away respectively. Stunning beaches with exclusive beach clubs like Nikki Beach all available plus endless bars and restaurants to suit all budgets. The Marina of Banus is worth a visit on its own and here you will find plenty of open air cafes to relax and watch the day go by or people watch. At night Banus comes to life so get your glad rags on and get ready to party. There are so many other things to do if you have the time, the Alhambra Palace, Sierra Nevada Ski resort (winter) Rhonda and Granada are all do- able in a day and there are even day trips to Morocco. Whatever you decide to do you will love returning back to Villa Chalou and remembering you day.

We purchased Villa Chalou from new and for 8 years it was our family home. We have many happy memories there watching our children grow up and we all love returning for holidays whenever we can. The best thing for me is sitting on the terrace over looking the pool with a refreshing cold San Miguel and enjoying the view, ahhhh. The kids will say the pool is by far the best thing, let us know what you think.

Why Paul Howe chose Coín

Villa Chalou is located on Sierra Gorda with panoramic views of snow capped mountains in the winter and olive groves in the summer for as far as the eye can see. Situated just outside the traditional Spanish town of Coin you will find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants as well as some great Tapas bars. It's far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the coast but close enough when you want it as within 20-25 minutes you could be on the beach at Marbella or partying in Puerta Banus. The airport is 25 minutes away and the stunning city of Malaga is just 20 minutes, the city is beautiful and often over looked by tourists. Whether you choose to use Chalou as a base to explore Andalucia or just chill by the pool and decide what what to cook on the BBQ you will love everyday here.

What makes this villa unique

Our villa is totally private and secure located in the community of Sierra Gorda. The urbanisation is well maintained and boasts a shop, bar and restaurant and a thriving Padel Tennis club. The shopping centre of La Trocha is just 2 mins away where you find supermarkets, restaurants and Dunnes Store amongst others. The villa has air conditioning throughout and plenty of things to do apart from the large pool. You will find an iPod docking station, table football, a Wii with numerous games as well as traditional board games, cards and lots of books you are welcome to read. There is also UK tv and wifi available all at no extra cost. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, full oven and hobb, coffee machine plus a washing machine. For peace of mind the pool area is secure..

Great villa

Just returned from a great week. Well situated. 5 min into Coin. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. Great size pool. At the bottom of the road is a cash and carry , we went and bought fresh bread and booze. Sue , the lady that looks after the villa was great help. Recommend a restaurant called The Boma. Would highly recommended Sunday lunch but you will have to book. We went through the week as well and had the house special best food I have had for along time. Thank you

Another Lovely Stay

This is our second visit - last Easter as well. Had another lovely holiday with 4 kids aged 10 and 11 who spent almost every day in the pool - swim aids, pool noodles, buckets and spades for the beach. Wifi and tv with lots of channels and comfy beds. Only need aircon a couple of times during the night as the house is lovely and cool. Close to lovely rural towns with supermarkets (inc Lidl and Aldi) and loads of eateries. Would recommend without hesitation,

Amazing villa!

We have just come back from an amazing week spent at the villa. We were a group of 4 adults and a 6 year old, there was plenty room in the villa to accommodate all of us. The villa has everything you need and more, my 6 year old especially enjoyed playing with the inflatables in the pool and the wii console. The villa is located in a nice peaceful location with amazing views but it's only a 20-30min drive to the beaches. There is lots to explore in the surrounding areas and a car is necessary. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone considering it, you won't be disappointed.

Awesome - fully equipped - home from home

So many excellent things to say about this villa and most or all of them are already mentioned on previous comments. We have stayed in many villas in Spain and this is one of the best! I cannot think of a single negative. We never go back to the same villa on the basis of exploring more of Spain but to be honest this is one villa we would consider coming back to. We both felt very much at home. If your reading this in order to make up your mind about making that decision - go for it!

Fabulous villa holiday!

We arrived at Villa Chalou & were immediately on holiday. It's extremely well equipped, clean & spacious & the pool & garden are beautifully maintained. The views are wonderful. You get the best of both worlds there, just relaxing or going out & about sightseeing as it is perfectly situated. You do need a car. We visited local markets, beaches, spent some time in Malaga - lots to do there, and ate in various restaurants near & far. We were left lots of information on places of interest & Paul & Michelle gave us restaurant recommendations all around the area.

We travelled with 3 teenagers and all of us had a truly amazing holiday. Thank you.

Perfect villa for a family of 4, comfy bedrooms nice and clean and tidy, great outdoor seating area and enclosed pool area to keep the kids safe. some of the best sunsets i have seen for a while, a good central location 20 mins from air port and beach. The old maxim magazines took me back to my youth! May even return next year!
