North Mine Cottage is located in the centre of Herodsfoot. The property is situated opposite the village green with its own private garden and off street parking. With 2 upstairs bedrooms the property comfortably sleeps up to 5 people and would particularly suit a family with children. Pets are welcome. In addition the property has a separate games room in the garden and the self contained garden is suitable for dogs.

Bookings also accepted through Airbnb with no booking fee.

We recently bought the cottage due to the fact that its garden adjoins ours making it an ideal investment. Having lived in the village for many years, we love the local area and hope that you will visit Cornwall to enjoy all that it has to offer.

What makes this cottage unique

Set in a quiet Cornish village, you can access beautiful countryside walks from your doorstep. Ideal for dog walking and enjoying the countryside. The cottage is an old mining cottage looking out onto the small village green.

Outside: The garden has a charcoal barbecue, table and chairs, outhouse for washing machine and games room. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided. The property is cleaned prior to arrival. Clean towels are provided once a week. Other: Entrance hall with hall table and comfortable chair, coat hooks and shoe storage. The outhouse to the rear of the property houses a washing machine and freezer. The rear garden also has a separate games room.

Loved the cottage

Stayed at North Mine cottage from 20-26 May 2017. It is a lovely cottage, very quiet and peaceful. Well equipped with added bonus of washing machine and dishwasher, if needed, and the range was great. Very good value for money, although we did feel that attention to detail could be better, ie some of the kitchen cupboards had marks and drips on the outside, and there was dust in places, especially round the log burner and also in bathroom. Appreciate cobwebs do appear, but these can easily to cleared with a feather duster before people arrived. Apart from this we did enjoy our stay.

Lovely, cosy cottage with a pet friendly garden.

The cottage was very comfortable and perfect for us and our two little dogs. Ideal position for exploring this area of Cornwall. However,there are a couple of things that could be improved on :-

a bin in the bathroom would be very useful

the fying pans need replacing

no matches to light the fire or candles

Sadly there was no wi-fi whilst we were there and as there is no mobile signal and we couldn't dial out on the house phone this could be a bit of a problem,

Lovely cosy clean cottage in a nice small village and not far to the sea. Very welcoming owners who live nearby. Will stay again if in the area. Great also if you have a dog.

Lovely Cottage in Beautiful Valley of Cornwall

We travelled down to Cornwall to take our dog to a training session at the local Dog & Wolf Development Centre and the cottage was recommended to us by a friend. Ian was very friendly and on hand for anything we needed! The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed, including a log burner in the living room which was really cosy as it rained for 2 days! The village is beautiful and great for dog walking and also has a lovely garden! We will definitely be back again in the future. Many thanks for letting us stay!

Beautiful cottage set in small Cornish village

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at North Mine Cottage. The welcome bottle of red, the log burner, the aga all made for a superb break deep in the winter season. The cottage has everything you need, immaculately clean, and well positioned for local attractions. I am sure we will be back again.
