Central Bexhill on Sea moments from the beach and shops, in a quiet street with the De La Warr Pavilion and the rail station five minutes away.

This is a beautiful bright and airy one bedroom, upper ground floor apartment. It has direct access from the street and is in a central location, situated in a quiet residential street with free roadside parking. People who stay really appreciate not needing to use their car to visit local attractions, including the beach, restaurants, shops and bars. It is freshly decorated and furnished to a very high standard with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The sitting room is wonderfully light with large windows offering a glimpse of the sea which is just moments away. It has plenty of comfortable seating and the sofa can convert into a double bed. There is great WiFi and mobile phone connections. There are TV screens in the sitting room and bedroom which have Freeview. The bedroom can either be used with a king size bed or two twin beds. In addition there is a single futon bed which can be used either in the bedroom or the sitting room to accommodate 3 sleeping in the apartment. The Futon OR the the double sofa bed, but not both, can be used to accommodate more than two sleeping. Happy to discuss how beds might be arranged to suit your needs.

There is seating in the bedroom too with a small desk. The sofa bed in the sitting room means that the flat offers additional flexible sleeping options for up to four. There is a bright and spacious high specification eat in, kitchen. It's fully equipped with everything you need including a dishwasher and washing machine, kitchen with table and chairs for four. There is a newly fitted bright and airy shower room. Excellent mattresses, luxury towels and linen are provided to ensure your comfort. Two beach chairs and a picnic bag are in the flat for days out. Completely refurbished in 2015 with new gas central heating and electric power shower and all new appliances we can ensure you have a very comfortable stay all year round.

About Patricia Corcoran

We have really enjoyed offering holiday accommodation in Bexhill on Sea since 2010. This flat is in a Victorian, detached double fronted villa. This upper ground floor apartment with two beautiful large sash bay windows, high ceilings and paneled doors and its own front door from the street. It was completely refurbished in 2015 and has been available to rent since April of that year. It has sea glimpses and the flat is filled with the lovely seaside light, air and sounds, Adjacent to the seafront it is a perfect seaside retreat. This apartment a pleasure to stay in and we look forward to welcoming guests.

We fully manage our property including cleaning, laundry and administration. Thus ensuring a high standard is maintained and there are no communication problems. We really enjoy meeting our clients and do our best to ensure they have a great stay.

Bexhill on Sea is friendly town ideally situated, offering direct rail services to Cooden Beach, Battle, Pevencey, Hastings, Eastbourne, Rye and Brighton for car free days out. Camber sands with its fabulous miles of beach and Rye with its ancient town and bird sanctuary are real treats that we never grow tired of visiting. London is about two hours away by car or train. We love staying in the apartment and so enjoy our days out when we are there.

Notes on accommodation: This apartment has been completely refurbished with new wiring and plumbing.The high specification 'eat in' kitchen with corian work surface and walnut kitchen units has a dishwasher, fridge with icebox, electric hob, iron, combination microwave oven, washing machine. It is decorated to a professional standard and has all new flooring and carpets. New central heating and hot water boiler, power shower and complimentary internet access, freeview and flat screen TVs. Outside: This newly refurbished upper ground floor apartment has a short flight of steps to the front door from the street. The apartment is adjacent to the main shopping facilities, a lively promenade, coffee shops, restaurants, a fabulous ice cream parlour, bars, sailing boats and beach huts. At high tide shingle shore and low tide rock pools and sandy safe beaches are located directly across the Marina. Edgerton Park is a 4 to 5 minute walk away. Utility Room: The apartment has a hairdryer, laundry washer, drying facilities, iron and board. Cleaning materials are also in the flat for the convenience of guests. Warm and cosy flat that was just right for two and a dog. Perfect for long walks by the sea and easy access to Eastbourne, Hastings and Rye.

Excellent and very comfortable

We are a middle aged couple from London. We thought this was a very well designed and attractive flat. The bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and sitting room perfect for reading in or watching the TV. The flat is in the centre of Bexhill minutes from the De La Warr Pavilion, shops and restaurants. The flat was very clean with its own front door and excellent value for money. We would recommend it highly.

Very attractive apartment in a great location.

We stayed here for a short break. The apartment was well positioned for the beach, restaurants and shops. Bexhill is ideally positioned for visiting the busier resorts of Eastbourne, Hastings and other attractions in East Sussex and Kent (we found it easier to leave the car in Bexhill and take a relaxing 40 minute bus ride into Eastbourne).

The apartment was clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather, but if the weather turned out to be bad, there would be no problem in staying indoors – the apartment is well equipped for home entertainment.

Pat and Andy were extremely helpful and answered any questions we had promptly.

We would recommend this property and location to family and friends without hesitation.

Lovely apartment with great location

We (as a couple) stayed in the flat for 10 days and it is one of the most well-equipped places we have stayed in (having enjoyed self-catering for 20 years). It is a real home-from-home and very close to the beach and local shops, cafes and bars.

The flat is is a one-way street with plenty of parking directly outside. Everything was as described and we particularly enjoyed being met by Pat and Andy, the owners, who helped us unload all our stuff (with their grandchildren) and showed us where things were.

Communication with them was easy throughout, with quick replies. They were happy for us to arrive early and leave later which we really appreciated. Everything was very clean and tidy with lovely furnishings and very comfortable beds. Ear plugs were even provided to help with the noise from the sea-gulls! The road itself was quiet and bedroom also had black-out blinds to aid sleep.

The kitchen was well-equipped for self catering with enough high-quality crockery and cutlery for many people.

We had (mostly) lovely weather so were able to change into swimwear in the flat and walk to the beach with minimum equipment and return after our swim - sheer luxury!

We had a lovely evening in No.48 (Devonshire Road) where we enjoyed live entertainment from a singing duo and a meal. Well worth investigating if you stay as they cater for different tastes and are a short walk away. Everything in the town is within easy reach on foot and there are many charity shops if you enjoy shopping. The De La Warr Pavillion is also well-worth a visit.

Overall this is a very relaxing and comfortable place for two people and the view of the sea complimented the whole ambiance. We would certainly recommend the flat to our friends and family.

A perfect final

We had a warm and overall informing welcome by Pat and enjoyed 4 relaxing days at this apartment after a travel-round-through-GB. We couldn't have met it better: The furnishing is quite chic and comfortable, everything was clean, tidy and in superb condition. The space was enough for two adults and two children, the kitchen was well equipped and the location perfect! This is a perfect place for some relaxing days in Bexhill and around! There are lots of shopping facilities, restaurants and bars in walking distance. To the beach it's a three minutes walk. At the De La Warr Pavillon and the Bexhill Museum they even had programme for children.

comfortable and inviting

On our arrival we were met by Pat who showed us around and pointed out where everything was kept (very helpful). We were able to park the car directly outside the front door and didn't move it for the whole time, our bus passes were used almost daily as the service is quite good. The weather wasn't very kind to us but the flat was so comfortable staying in was no hardship. We would certainly recommend this property.
