This luxury, fully equipped, air-conditioned villa is situated just 15 minutes walk to the beach, marina and town, making it a perfect location to access all the exciting local leisure facilities, sports and amenities. Its contemporary stylish accommodation boasts a private kidney shaped pool and ample outdoor seating and dining options. Enjoy warm, lazy, summer evenings around the pool and outdoor barbecue/kitchen area. There is free wifi available in the villa and satellite television in both the lounge and master bedroom, including a dvd player with library of films. A large separate air conditioned games room completes the picture with pool table and table football. An open wood burning fire in the lounge together with radiator central heating means it is a great all year round holiday destination. The main beach in Moraira is within 15 minutes walk and along the coast there are bays and coves waiting to be discovered. Golf, fishing, tennis and many other sports and activities are nearby. We visited Moraira and fell in love with the area. The villa has a traditional yet contemporary feel and its location, style and atmosphere suited us We completely relax when we are here yet there is always something going on. There are no end of fine restaurants and bars, we have yet to discover them all.

Outside: Situated in its own private grounds with front and rear gardens and private 8x4 kidney shaped pool. Sun loungers and outdoor dining tables and chairs are provided and there is a fully equipped outside barbecue kitchen area. Utility Room: The separate utility room has washing machine and tumble dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen and internal towels are provided and changed on a weekly basis. Extra changes can be arranged at an additional cost. Other: The large, separate annex has a king sized bed, separate bathroom and kitchen area with fridge. The air-conditioned games room has a billiard table.

Wonderful villa in a perfect location

We were highly impressed with the villa. It was spotlessly clean, provides excellent space, is extremely comfortable and importantly quiet, relaxing and everything worked perfectly.

The owners are clearly very conscious concerning what a guest may need as everything is provided for to enjoy your stay and is of excellent quality.

The games room is brilliant, which we used a lot. The pool terrace provides two areas for eating al fresco and there is lots of space to relax by the pool. Shade is provided as well if you want to be out of the direct sun.

You need a car to get to the property but once there you can walk into Moriara to enjoy the beach or excellent restaurants and bars.

We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely go back. 5 stars

A Family Paradise in Luxury

On arriving at Casa Calandra we were immediately struck by the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the villa, along with the quietness of the location even though we were a mere ten minute walk from town. A perfect combination for our holiday requirements.

The Villa was exactly as was descried, the double bedrooms all roomy, the lounge area both comfortable and welcoming, and a dining area that was well appointed and positioned very handily to the well equipped kitchen making this perfect for family meals, dinner parties, or just an intimate dinner for two over a bottle (or more) of vino.

The patio area was vast, with two sets of family sized tables and chairs to accommodate large families with ease with a very handy built in barbecue next to one of the table sets. The pool was immaculately kept and inviting and, on a hotter day I would've have spent more time in it.

The sun-loungers on the patio were very comfortable, certainly comfortable enough to make snoozing a little too easy in them so make sure you apply plenty of sun protection before settling down in the Mediterranean sun

The local nearby town of Moraira boasts a number of shops, boutiques , and welcoming bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Many of the restaurants have locations with beautiful sea views that could distract you from the excellent quality of food being served.

Our trip to Casa Calandra was a delight but passed all too quickly however, we intend to return very soon to enjoy the villa and the surrounding area.

Beautiful spacious villa

Wow this villa was outstanding. Nine of us stayed for 2 weeks and there was so much space. Beautiful air conditioned bedrooms with on suite bathrooms. Immaculate well stocked kitchen and living area. Stunning pool and terrace with plenty of sunbeds and shades, and an amazing barbecue and outside dining area. Games room was great for our teenage children.

10 minute walk to Moraira beach and town with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants and yet the villa is in a very peaceful and quiet location.

Would highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return again.

Absolutely Fantastic Villa

We stayed at this villa for a week - me, my wife, our daughter, my mother in-law, sister-in-law, and my Mum (I know, brave man).

A very easy hours drive from Alicante to the villa where we had been kindly left a welcome pack which was really thoughtful and helped to quench the thirst from travelling!

The villa surpassed our expectations for a number of reasons:

* Spacious - we all had our own room and didn't feel on top of each other in the slightest throughout the week - nice big open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area and lots of outside space.

* Kept to a very high standard and really clean.

* Facilities - The villa has everything you need and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'd want. Even the bbq area is fully equipped including a fridge, sink, utensils etc.

* Pool - There are lots of inflatables/pool toys at the villa which kept our daughter (and me) entertained.

* Child friendly - A cot, highchair were put in the villa for our arrival and a stair gate had even been fitted!

- Location - the villa is located close to the town/beach/supermarket so we could walk everywhere (if you're walking to the supermarket, go through the field, not around it. Not sure you're meant to but there's a well trodden path which lots of people were using, this makes the walk to the supermarket around 15 mins. Also. at the bottom of the road, 5 mins walk from the villa, there's a restaurant called Ca PePe, the lunchtime set menu was great value and delicious food.

All in all we had an amazing week in a fantastic villa which we'd highly recommend. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the booking so I'd like to thank her and her husband for a great holiday.

Perfect villa for a perfect holiday!

I had a wonderful time whilst staying at Casa Calandra, the perfect destination for a quick break to catch some sun!

The villa is a short drive from the airport so was ideal for my partner and I and It was easy to find so no stress at all.

We were walking distance from the coast; great if you've had one too many cerveza's or a big dinner that evening!

The locals were friendly and weather lovely- and the villa itself surpassed expectation.

It was spacious, immaculately clean and we felt totally relaxed there.

The games room in particular was a big plus point for me and would be great for those who have kids!

There's loads of nice restaurants in Town and places to chill and relax with a cocktail and some tapas..one night, there was a street party held by the locals with live music which was so much fun.

Everybody was up dancing all night!

We could've stayed there for another week easily and will definitely be going back soon!

Recommended wonderful stay

Lovely villa and surroundings; all rooms very clean and comfortable, with air conditioning in every room. So close to beach/town (approx 10 min walk) yet nice quiet area. Fantastic pool and BBQ area and very well equipped games room with plenty of entertainment. Wholeheartedly recommend, I will certainly be returning in the near future.

Booking Notes:
A 25% deposit is required on booking to reserve the villa. The balance plus a returnable security deposit of 300 pounds sterling is payable eight weeks prior to departure. The security deposit will be returned after two weeks of successful checkout. Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer and can be made in either pounds sterling or Euros.

Changeover Day:
The changeover day is Saturday. Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am, in order to enable cleaning staff to service the villa.
