Apartment 32 is on the top floor of Clifton Court. It is a superb 3 bedroom apartment, sleeping 6 people. The immaculate accommodation is in an elevated position directly behind Putsborough beach. The golden sands extend for a total of 2 miles. Families, surfers, walkers and artists all enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The apartment has immediate access to the North Devon Coastal path. This brings further breathtaking views of the seascape. Guests also have the benefit of full and exclusive use of the private indoor heated swimming pool. Croyde village is only 5 minutes by car. Facilities include traditional pubs serving excellent food, grocery store, surfing equipment shops and a post office. A journey of either 10 minutes by car or a 30 minute walk along the coastal path or beach will bring visitors to Woolacombe, providing additional dining and shopping choices. Apartment 32 provides quality accommodation on a secluded part of the North Devon coastline. The perfect escape for families wanting a traditional beach holiday or for walkers, artists or photographers appreciating the incredible natural beauty of the coastal paths and sea views. The surrounding land is predominantly managed by the National Trust and is part of the North Devon AONB (Area of outstanding natural beauty). The views from the apartment windows and balconies are superb. Following the coastal path gives opportunities for artists and photographers to capture more of the amazing seascapes. Putsborough beach has 2 miles of golden sands. There is ample space for everyone to enjoy the beach. Surfers come for magnificent Atlantic waves. The island of Lundy can be seen approximately 15 miles from the coast. Lundy is managed on behalf of the National Trust and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is the home for many unusual flora and fauna. Boat trips to Lundy can be taken from Bideford and Ilfracombe.

Short Breaks: We offer short breaks throughout the year, but not normally at peak times. The minimum number of nights is 3 and your break can start on any day of the week. Please contact us for a price but it is calculated as follows:

3 nights calculated at 75% of the relevant weekly rate.

4 nights calculated at 80% of the relevant weekly rate.

5 nights calculated at 85% of the relevant weekly rate.

Great holiday in Devon !

Living in Japan we were looking for a peaceful location with superb surrounding nature. This apartment overlooking Putsborough beach checked all our conditions and more ! It was in perfect condition, fully equipped and the owner provided excellent customer service while nicely accommodating our stay dates to our flight schedule. Having the sunset over the sea right from your window was a spectacular daily enjoyment. The beach is recommended for surfers -- which we are not --. We enjoyed many other activities such as horse riding, cycling (renting bikes at Barnstaples station to cycle the Tarka tour is a must) and trekking. A recommended destination without hesitation.

Perfect Devon holiday getaway

We like to spend a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and this apartment fitted our criteria perfectly. However shops and restaurants can be reached by a short car journey or 30 minute walk along the coast- there are some lovely walks and areas to explore. The location is idyllic - what better way to wake up in the morning than a view of the beach which is a surfer's paradise. The beach is extensive so would never be overcrowded and there is a section where dogs are not allowed. As it is a stone's throw from the apartment if the weather turns, a run back to the apartment is all that is required.

The apartment is faultless. We wanted for nothing and it is exceptionally well maintained and very clean. We had superb customer service from the owner from the time of our enquiry and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely apartment, very well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The views are splendid, it is very near the clean and children friendly beach (although a steep climb when returning from the beach), and there are lovely walks along the coast. The location may not suit ones who want shops and theme parks as these are some distance away through narrow lanes, but for a quiet getaway-from-it-all, it is fantastic. Would unreservedly recommend it.

The apartment is located in an elevated position directly behind Putsborough beach and adjacent to the North Devon coastal path. The 2 mile long beach is ideal for both traditional family holidays and surfing. At the southern end of the beach (near Clifton Court) are cliffs. When the tide goes out, the base of the cliffs reveal rock pools for exploration.

The coastal path can be followed all round North Devon. The area around Putsborough is an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).


The property is located at the southern end of Woolacombe bay. There is allocated parking for one car with a limited number of additional unallocated spaces.

  • Notes on accommodation: The property is none smoking throughout and unfortunately we are unable to accept pets. All bed linen, bath towels, bath mats and tea towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels as these are not provided. A travel cot, highchair, small selection of board games and beach games are available to use during your stay. WiFi and utilities such as electricity and water are included in the cost of the holiday. A complimentary bottle of wine will be waiting for you - perfect to enjoy out on the balcony whilst watching the sun set over the Atlantic ocean. Outside: Clifton Court has private swimming pools for use of residents. These consist of a main pool 10m x 4m and a small pool for young children of 2.5m x 2.5m. Both pools are permanently heated. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Property cleaned weekly. Towels (not for pool or beach use) and linen provided except for the travel cot. Other: Storage room for beach equipment, surfboards etc.
