Our lodge has 2 bedrooms, an open plan Living, Dining and Kitchen area with an en-suite bedroom for the Master Bedroom along with a separate Family Bathroom. This stylish lodge overlooks a fishing lake with a spacious decking area for outside dining. Situated on a 5* Holiday Park, voted one of Cornwall's best holiday parks 2016/17. It has been awarded the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award for 17 successive years.

Gail & I live in the Midlands. We have 3 children and a Cocker Spaniel called George. We have always loved holidaying in Cornwall where we have so many special family memories, just as you have I'm sure.

Superb accommodation, lovely and relaxing, very quiet and great view. The lodge is spacious - myself, husband, one year old and 3 year old managed really well. Children had space to play and good sized decked area. Nice site very close to beautiful beaches. We really enjoyed our stay.

Special interest holidays:

The site provides access to 2 fully stocked fishing lakes which can be used with a fishing licence. The lakes have an abundance of carp, tench, bream, roach and rudd, including some carp at 24lb plus. The resident fishing warden provides useful advice and guests can hire and buy equipment including rods, hooks, line and floats from the bait shop.

Coast/Beach:

Wonderful Crantock Beach is just a 15 minute walk away, and Fistral Beach, Newquay a 35 minute walk.

Crantock Beach is a truly tremendous stretch of sand – at least as good as any of the more famous beaches in nearby Newquay but without the masses of tourists and surfers.

The sandy beach is massive and dotted with small pools for crab hunting, and crashing waves for body boarding and surfing.

Nearby Newquay is the surf capital of the UK and loved by surf pros and beginners alike.

Crantock is a tiny village with ancient inns and a pretty church within earshot of the sea. Stroll around the tiny streets discovering craft shops, catching sight of old buildings, and stopping off in one of the small coffee shops for a speciality of the region; keep an eye out for pasties, cream teas, saffron buns, Hevva cake, seafood, Yarg cheese or Roskilly’s ice cream – all are worth stopping for!

There are 2 friendly local pubs in Crantock Village as well as the renowned Bowgie Inn just outside the village.
