Villa in Sesmarias, Nr. Albufeira, Algarve - 500 m Easy Stroll To The Beach

The villa has 3 bedrooms (two doubles and a twin) and three bathrooms. A very spacious lounge with satellite TV, DVD and a full hi fi system. A library of DVDs is provided along with a large selection of books to cater for all tastes. The kitchen is fully fitted with a full range of built-in appliances. Outside surrounding the pool there is a large patio area with loungers and a shaded dining area and of course a substantial BBQ. The grounds are landscaped with lawn and flower beds with a range of colourful shrubs, plants and trees. The nearby beach, with its own beach bar, is just a 5-minute easy walk. A quiet location but with the benefit of several bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes just a few minutes walk away. The bustling market town of Albufeira is just 3km's away.

Just a line to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at the villa. It is kept exceptionally well - as an Estates Manager for a 400 acre Grade 2 Listed site I should know! There were a couple of minor problems with a kettle packing up and the safe deciding to throw a wobbly, but the Villa Manager, Tracey, was excellent and sorted it straight away. We will certainly be thinking about returning here in a couple of years. (Keith)

Didn't take long for us to get back to you regarding our holidays for 2012! We've noticed a gap in September next year and we'd love to return to Casa de Amanha as we had such a fantastic holiday. (Ellen)

Beautiful villa in a stunning location

The facilities at this villa are excellent and they made for a very stress free and relaxing holiday. The property is traditional Portuguese style and is clean and very well maintained throughout, as was the pool and the wonderful gardens.The customer service provided by the owners is excellent with nothing being too much trouble for Elizabeth and Mark

In addition to the beautiful villa there is a delightful cove with stunning views of the coastline, complete with a family friendly sandy beach within a very short stroll. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends.

From the Owner

The huge benefit we have is just being a few minutes easy stroll to a small coved beach, with beach bar, and also having easy access to wonderful cliff top walks to other similar beaches. Whilst enjoying the aforementioned benefits we are still within easy striking distance of the airport, close to towns, restaurants, bars and mini-supermarkets but far enough away that none of it affects the tranquility of our home.

Activity and Interests


Praia da Coelha, a small coved beach, is just a few minutes stroll from the villa. A beautiful setting between the cliffs but very easily accessible. It has its own beach bar with a selection of 'simple' meals. There are beautiful clifftop walks and nearby are several other similar beaches nestling amongst the cliffs. The wide expanses of Gale and Salgados beaches are a few minutes car drive which have a full range of water sports/activities.


Faro airport is approximately 40 km's and takes around 35-40 minutes by car, mainly motorway until the last few km's into Albufeira.

We consider a car to be desirable but not essential as there are mini-supermarkets, bars and restaurants nearby. The nearest large supermarket is approximately 1.5km's from the villa.


Several similar sized villas are in the immediate vicinty. There are several bars, restaurants and a couple of mini-supermarkets within a few minutes walk, but far enough away so as not to disturb us. The historic market town of Albufeira is approximately 3 km's away with its marina halfway between us and the town. Faro airport is appoximately 40 minutes drive.

The villa has a lovely sized garden with large areas of lawn, flower/shrub beds as well as a large patio and a very large heated pool. Plenty of room to relax with friends and family without crowding each other out! Our local beach is an easy 5-minute stroll where you can enjoy a beer or simple meal whilst watching the sun go down. There are very nice restaurants within a few minutes walk with a range of cooking styles and a number of mini-supermarkets which will cater for your daily needs. A spacious villa set in spacious grounds with all the home comforts you would expect. We visit throughout the year and want our creature comforts. There is a large wood burner for use in the winter as well as background heaters and support from the air conditioning system if needed.

For the benefit of winter clients the villa has electric wall heaters in all bedrooms and electic towel rails in the bathrooms. Small heaters are also fitted in the wardrobes to ensure clothes are always warm and dry. There is a wood burner in the lounge. Instant warm air heating is available via the air conditioning system. Outside: Outside is an 11 x 5 metre private pool which can be heated for an additional charge. The pool is surrounded by ample terracing with sun loungers and a covered dining area with seating for 6-people. There is a substantial BBQ. The gardens are spacious with lawns, trees and a large selection of colourful shrubs and plants. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels for use in the villa are provided. A maid service is provided 5-days a week with towels and linen changed as necessary.
