Apartment in Alvor, Western Algarve, Portugal - Wonderful Location Just 5 Minutes Walk To Beach

Clube Alvor Ria is a small 3 storey closed condominium of just 48 apartments in arguably the best location in Alvor, set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens with swimming pool and large terrace. The wide promenade and harbour with its many relaxing bars and restaurants serving freshly caught fish are within a 2 minute stroll. The 4km long wide sandy beach is just 4 minutes walk, there is also a large nature reserve with miles of board walks for those who enjoy a walk amongst the Natural Flora & Fauna with many species of birds. The quaint village of Alvor is also convenient with its many restaurants, bars and shops that cater for all tastes and everyday needs, so a car is not essential, there are also many places of interest not far from Alvor that can be visited by bus or taxi, for those who hire a car there is secure safe parking within the complex via a remote control gate.

The Apartment sleeps 4 people, has 1 bedroom with twin beds, 2 bathrooms one en-suite, fully equipped kitchen, dinning area with table & seating for 4 people, lounge with 2 leather sofa's one of which is a double sofa bed, terrace with table & chairs for 4 and 4 sunbeds down by the pool.

Immaculate Apartment in wonderful location

Shirley was extremely helpful with our booking and was at the apartment with her husband to meet us on arrival. They had very thoughtfully provided milk, water, tea, coffee & sugar. The apartment was immaculately clean and very comfortably furnished with nice curtains, comfy beds and nice bedlinen & towels. Our daughter stayed with us for a few days as a very late decision and Shirley kindly made up the sofa bed at no extra cost. The 2 bathrooms are spacious and clean and the kitchen well equipped.

We loved having breakfast on the balcony and also watching the sun go down from there.

The pool and gardens were very well maintained and never crowded.

The location is truly wonderful; we enjoyed walks to the beach, walks along the boardwalk, along the promenade and also into the village. We loved all the little shops and in the mornings fresh croissants & rolls from the small supermarket just up the hill!

Don't miss the little indoor market where the fish is so fresh and so inexpensive!

One morning we came out to find a fruit and vegetable market had set up on the promenade - we bought a kilo of strawberries that were the most delicious we have tasted in years!

We hired a car and drove to Sagres and Cabo St Vincent - very worthwhile - and also to Praia da Rocha & Carvoeiro which were lovely but we felt that Alvor topped them all!

Alvar has so many restaurants where the fish is stunning and we loved Atrium 53 cocktail bar for late drinks.

We found everyone in Alvor to be so friendly and we very much hope to be able to come back again.

We would definitely highly recommend this apartment for a wonderful base in this beautiful village.

excellent apartment

A beautiful apartment with everything you could possibly need,even beach towels, well maintained and very clean. The apartment overlooks the beautiful harbour area and is very central for the restaurants and bars. The booking process and payment was very easy and Shirley responded to our enquiries very quickly. Thank you Shirley and Glyn, we look forward to visiting again next year.

Great apartment top location for in Alvor

Fantastic apartment in a great location and brilliant service from Shirley the owner.

We would without doubt recommend to all interested in booking this apartment. In 15 years + of holidays in the Algarve this is one of the best locations and accommodation we have found. We will be back thanks again to Shirley and Alvor a top spot!!

Location! Location!

Just back from Alvor after spending 12 days at apartment A205

Great location!, chill on the balcony with a glass of wine and enjoy the views from the balcony of the Harbour and the activities around. some wonderful restaurants all within walking distance. The apartment was excellent and spotless lovely bedding and plenty of towels everything you needed p-it was home from home . Shirley and Terry were so friendly and helpful( we arrived 9.30pm and they provided water, tea bags and milk lovely to have a cuppa when you arrive after a long journey) we loved it so much we have booked again for September.
