A beautiful and comfortable 1 Bedroom Apartment (sleeps 2) close to the Vilamoura Marina. Set in a quiet area and within 2 minutes walking distance to all amenities, including a supermarket, Restaurant, Cafe, Clinic, Pharmacy,plus more. No car required and suitable for a mature couple. The Apartment is on the top floor (5th) of the Condominium so there are views to the nearby Falesia Beach and nearby Marina.

About Amanda & Luis Santos

We decided to invest in a property in the Vilamoura area in 2003. After viewing so many properties, we were not content until we walked into this Apartment. As soon as I entered I knew this was the one. Because of its ideal location plus the views across the ocean and Marina, I knew we had to have it. At night, the sunsets can be amazing to watch from the Terrace during the warm evenings. Such a nice holiday feel! It's convenient to the Marina but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists. So, now we have decided to join Owner's Direct so that others may enjoy also.

Notes:
Outside: The Condominium has a private Main Entrance which has an electronic coded access. There is a private garden within the grounds, which leads to the large community pool. There is also a small WC/changing room located nearby the pool area. Unfortunately, no sun loungers are available at this present time. Utility Room: Ironing board and iron stored in the entrance wardrobes. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Extra towels and bed linen are stored in the bedroom wardrobes if needed. If staying for more than 7 days and you require maid service, this can be arranged at a charge. Other: Large terrace overlooking the Marina & Beach, with outside dining table and 4 chairs. The perfect place to sit of an evening when the sun starts to set and the sunsets can be beautiful!

Beautiful well kept apartment that has everything a home requires.

Amanda thought of everything that was needed for our arrival and left nothing to chance. Fresh fruit, water, milk, biscuits even a plenty supply of toilet roll.

The apartment itself was roomy clean and had everything needed for our holiday. A prpoer home from home. The communal pool was also kept clean and in what only can be described as a perfect sun trap all day.

Vilamoura marina and all it contains is only 10 to 15 minutes walking distance away as

are plentiful other bars and restaurants.

Lovely time in Vilamoura

Had a lovely time at Vilamoura and made all that more special thanks to Amanda. Who had arranged for us to picked up at the airport and taken strait to the wonderful apartment near the marina. Like it says in the add, it's in a great location with everything that you could ask for. Shops, restraints, beach, and a good night life. As for the Apartment, clean, clean very clean, with everything that you could need to make it a good holiday.

Location

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Falesia Beach is the nearest located to the Apartment. From the Terrace view, you will wake each morning to be greeted by this beautiful coastline. There are many many beaches along the Algarve coastline to be appreciated and many have been awarded the Blue Flag which is a prestigious award to receive, Falesia Beach being one of them. Here you will find a Restaurant and Bar for your enjoyment, as well as taking in the warmth of the sun's rays and the beauty of the Ocean.

Travel:

Faro Airport is approx. 20-30 minutes by taxi (20KM) to the Apartment. No car hire is required if you choose as the Marina has all to offer. If you are the more adventurous type and prefer car hire, then via the Internet, there are numerous Car Hire Companies at Faro Airport, for pick-up.

Distances:

The Vilamoura Marina is within 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Apartment. The nearest beach is Falesia Beach which is only 15-20 minutes on foot. This is the view you will see from the Terrace. Once in the Marina, located behind the Tivoli Hotel, begins another beautiful sandy beach which will lead you further along the coastline heading towards Quarteira town, approx. 20-30 minutes. Here you will find the Fish Market and the local fishing boats.

Further Details:

Vilamoura is one of the largest tourist complexes in the Algarve. Due to the size of the area it offers the visitor every form of sport, entertainment and dining out experiences. Golf courses are in abundant along the Algarvian coast. Choices of cuisines in Vilamoura range from Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, not to mention great Portugese/Seafood Restaurants amongst them all. There's also a huge choice of bars, snack bars, sports bars, along with cafes and ice cream parlours are all right here.

Located within 2 minutes walk from the Apartment you will find a Bank, Supermarket, Police Station, Post Office, Medical Clinic, Pharmacy, "Roma" Mini Golf Park, and Cafe Sol with Burger King and a small Newsagents.

Sport activities include a variety of water sports which can be booked at one of the many kiosks in the Vilamoura Marina, including Deep Sea Fishing, Jeep Safaris, Coach Excursions and Daily Cruises along the Algarve coastline. Tennis, Horse Riding and Cycling are also available for those who have a sporty nature.

Please check Diary Availability first, then e-mail to enquire that there has been no last minute alterations before proceeding with your booking. A non-refundable 50% deposit must be paid to secure the booking and the outstanding balance must be paid in full 6 weeks before the arrival date. However, payment can be made in full, this is up to the individual when booking. Payments to be made by bank transfers/Pay Pal only. Cancellation policy is 6 weeks notice.

Changeover Day:
Check-in is at 3pm and Check-out at 11am during High Season (June-August). Flexibility on changeover days can be possible depending on the bookings, when the next guest arrives/departs.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
