A wonderful house with fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 6 had a great time in Lochalsh. The house is high spec yet homely with plenty of space and fully equipped. It was clean and well maintained. The views are spectacular and ever changing with the weather. The local area is lovely for various walks in woodland and by the loch. It is an ideal base for Skye - Kyle of Lochalsh and the bridge is 10 mins drive away or for mainland drives to Plockton, Applecross and Sheidaig. Could also reach here by train easily as only short taxi ride from Kyle. We had a query during our stay which was promptly sorted by the friendly owner by email.

Breathtaking view over Loch Alsh!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our recent stay with friends: two families, 8 people, 4 bedrooms, 4 baths......it all worked out easily and comfortably. The floor plan of this house is quiet and private for everyone, yet the common living space/kitchen/dining area are just right for a group our size.....with a morning sunrise view that is hard to beat! Our daily trips driving onto nearby Isle of Skye were so pleasant and the scenery....breathtaking!

The setting on Loch Alsh is exceptionally beautiful. The house has everything you would need and everything is high quality. Peace and quiet but within easy reach of shops etc, Skye and surrounding areas. I would rent this property again.

Exceptional

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful property met all of our requirements in every way. The view from the lounge, and most of the bedrooms, was stunning, even on the misty day when we could not see across the loch. The house was well equipped to a high standard and catered well for our large family group with ages from one to sixty two. Plenty to do in the area from a five minute walk to the loch side to stunning drives through mountain passes. We would certainly return to this house and recommend it to others.

Amazing location

  • 5 of 5

There is nothing not to love about this wonderful house, it's facilities and outstanding view across the loch. The view changes by minutes depending on the time of day and weather and is a joy every time to see. The kids loved being down by the loch side with their nets, catching jellyfish or finding shells and treasure when the tide was out. Adults enjoyed the walks and wildlife. The house has everything you could need; loved the walk in pantry; beds were super comfy and ensuites for all rooms were perfect.
