I am a 38 year old married mother with 3 children. Our family loves to play golf so that is why we bought our apartment at La Resina, it is also safe for our children and they absolutely love the 2 swimming pools, we picked our apartment from the plans as it is the closest apartment to the swimming pools.

We love the beach clubs, restaurants, parks, safari park in our surrounding areas.

We have been visiting the costa del sol for the last 15 Years, my husband plays a lot of golf and we now have 3 beautiful children, aged, 6, 4 & 1, so em thought the time was right for us to buy at La Resina, the area is perfect for us as a young family, we also love eating out at good restaurants but also now we Have 3 children we also have found lots of family friends restaurants, parks and things for the children to do. It's a beautiful area and near to everything.

We have equipped the apartment as our home from home, it's just beautiful and we are very proud of it.

Outside: Extremely large outside terrace with sea views, mountain views, views across the golf course, 8 seater rattan table and chairs, rattan sofa set, gas BBQ, 4 sun loungers, 2 shared large swimming pools, 1 is an infinity pool with beautiful sea views, the 2nd is a large pool overlooking Selwo safari park, absolutely stunning views, there are sun umbrellas and sun beds around the pool for use. Our apartment is the closest to both pools. Utility Room: Ironing board, iron, hairdryer, hair straighteners, children's table and chairs in the lounge. There are also childrens toys, books. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. There are also the use of beach towels. The apartment is cleaned before and after arrival/departure, we can arrange for a mid clean during your stay if required. Other: There is a TV and DVD player in the master bedroom. A highchair, buggy, baby steroliser, there is a large outside terrace with 8 seater rattan furniture table and chairs, rattan sofa set, gas BBQ, 4 loungers. Children's table & 2 chairs. Wifi is available

Brilliant Apartment directly opposite a full blown building site.

When we arrived the apartment block was being renovated so our experience was slightly tainted but that aside, when you come out of your patio doors you are greeted with what can only be described as a full blown, all action building site, they work mon-fri 7am until 6.30pm, the noise and dust this place produces almost ruled out using the outside areas, each day we returned from the beach/friends pool/day out we had a 15 minute clean up operation to wipe down tables, shake the dust off the cushions, sweep the tiles etc etc. Admittedly some of this came from the renovations on the apartment block that will be finished by now but a percentage of the dirt came from the building site 25m opposite the terrace. This building site also overlooks 1 of the 2 pools so privacy is not great and one of the new apartment blocks directs opposite on the building site overlooks the outside terrace, this new block had builders on it 7 out of the 9 days we were around to notice so again privacy not great. Having said all this the apartment itself is prob the best, most well equipped apartment I've stayed in, especially if you are a family, this place has everything you could possibly want, it's like stopping in somebody's house who has lived there for years and just accumalated all the really useful things most houses have, and I clocked 60meg broadband too and all the UK TV channels on a 50" TV. The apartment is really well equipped to a very high standard.

The underground parking is good, the spaces are huge, although very hard to drive in and out of, the entrance to the underground car park is narrow. The resort itself is ok, it is spoiled by the building site and also it's on a really steep hillside so walking anywhere is tough going. The owners are good, they communicate well and seem very helpful, I also feel for them as the building site opposite is ruining there beautiful apartment that I would say once had a view from the outside area most would dream of, now they just have 3x 50m high cranes and lots of unfinished brickwork, this will change over time obviously but don't be shocked when you first arrive and lift those electric shutters, I've told you what to expect that you wouldn't be aware of otherwise.

Location

Coast/Beach:

2 km to beach, would advise driving as it's a big hill to walk up from. The beaches are beautiful with lots of beach clubs and water sports. Or quieter beaches for those looking for peace and quiet.

Travel:

45 mins to Malaga airport, 45 mins to Gibralter airport. Would advise Malaga as there are a better choice of airlines flights per day.

Distances:

5 mins to Estepona town, 10 mins to swanky Peurto Banus, 15 mins to Marbella, 10 mind to Benahavis and it's beautiful restaurants.
