Our home is a spacious ground floor luxury 2 bedroom apartment. It offers fabulous contemporary living accommodation throughout. It’s a short walk to the main beach and Praca with a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars; there is also an adults and children’s swimming pool there(fees apply). The apartment is close to the tennis academy where guests can enjoy free use of the shared swimming pool, sun beds along with gym and sauna (guests will also be entitled to 50% discount for tennis courts). The luxury 5 star resort of VDL has many on site amenities including a children’s club/crèche, crazy golf, a health spa, boutique shops, news agent, bank, medical centre and the resort also benefits from 24 hour security. There is a well stocked supermarket by the entrance into VDL and is only a 10 min walk from the apartment or 1 min drive. The resort also has 2 championship golf courses of the Royal and Ocean and the club house is a 2 min drive from the apartment. This is also where the resort reception is located. The apartment is professionally managed by VDL and the resort is only 20 min from faro airport. We are also members of the VDL proprietors club which means guests will be entitled to purchase a resort welcome card for your stay which gives you exclusive discounts such as 40% off green fees and free use of the internal shuttle bus (details of resort card costs can be provided on enquiry).

Very comfortable, great position

Chloe's property exceeded our expectations, the position is great, being very quiet, and the quality of the renovation is extremely good, making it feel even more relaxing in such good surroundings. Chloe made the whole experience very easy, and we welcomed her advice on restaurants, all of which was spot on. Would stay again and recommend it highly.

Immaculate, well equipped, great location

Three of us stayed for 4 nights in October and everything about the apartment was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, beds and furnishings were comfortable and homely, the showers were great, the kitchen facilities spot on and the portable wi-fi was so handy. Chloe could not have been more helpful and communicative, any questions we had were answered immediately.

The location is a short drive from Quinta do Lago and you are within easy walking distance of Vale do Lobo, so it's in a great spot.

Great value for money and we would have absolutely no hesitation staying there again or recommending to others....5*!

Everything you could wish for...and more!

This was our first time in Vale do Lobo, and I have to say that it was just perfect. From the first correspondence with the owners, I found Chloe to be efficient, professional and incredibly detailed.

The apartment is perfect. Modern, stylish, easy...just what you need from a holiday home, and it is literally so well equipped that I wanted for nothing whilst we were there. We used the barbecue on the terrace for a couple of meals, got plenty of use out of the Sky television, and even managed to watch our beloved football team lose.

I liked the fact that the apartment had an alarm system, although the resort does have a very safe, secure feeling about it. On top of all this, the absolute God send, with two teenagers, was the wi-fi. Just brilliant!

The apartment is a short walk from the Tennis Academy, with it's lovely pool and facilities, and we regularly used the shuttle bus to take us down to the beach (on the occasions that we couldn't be bothered to walk); over to reception and the golf club, or to the supermarket. We didn't hire a car, so the bus service was marvellous.

We went down to the beach most days, and it was just right for us, with the choice of paid sunbeds and parasols, or just pitching up on the sand (which we did). It wasn't too busy, and my children spent hours in the waves.

The Praça was excellent, with the live music and restaurants, although we didn't get around to going to the pool there, so I'm not sure what that's like.

So in a nutshell, Vale do Lobo is a great place, the apartment is perfect, and the attentiveness of the owners is absolutely second to none. Would I go back? In an absolute heartbeat :)

Great Apartment with genuine and nice owners

Arrived at the apartment late at night and what a great surprise when we opened the door to reveal the high quality of design and layout of this apartment.

The owners have thought about everything you need to make it a relaxing break and will go that extra mile with any needs you have for your break.

Will definitely book this again as great and special place with fantastic golf.

Really pleased we discovered this hidden gem.

Great Place To Stay

Good communication from the start and the accommodation is excellent a real home from home. We are a family of 4 with teenage kids so the roaming WIFI was a massive hit, such a good time was had by all we would definitely stay again, first class !!!

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The main beach is a short walk or 2 min drive where you will find golden sand that stretches for miles to villamoura or Quinta Do Lago the other way. You will also find some lovely beach bars and restaurants that are highly recommended such as Maria's.

Travel:

The Vale Do Lobo resort is only 20 mins from Faro airport

Distances:

The nearest supermarket is at the entrance to the resort so a 2 min 2 drive. The nearest town is Almancil which is les than 10 minutes away and has many lovely restaurant's as well as a big supermarket. The Marina of Villamoura is around a 15 minute drive where you will also finds the water park for families

Booking Notes:
A 25% non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. with final payment 6 weeks prior to arrival. A £100 damage deposit is required refundable within 14 days of return. Prices include weekly maid service with bed linen and towels provided weekly. Beach towels are not provided. Extra maid service/cleaning available at extra charge.

Changeover Day:
Arrival dates are usually Friday to Sunday. However if there is space in the booking calendar then we can accept mid week bookings for 10 days or short stays etc.. Arrival is after 2pm and departure by 10am, this can be flexible if not a swap over day

Normal departure by 10am and arrival after 2pm. There is flexibility to match flight times subject to bookings.   • Notes on accommodation: The apartment comes with 2 sets of golf clubs (Callaway X Hot for gents and Dunlop Beauty Graphite for ladies) and both are free to use. The apartment also benefits from having a telephone that is linked to the main reception should you have any questions or in the event of an emergency. For additional security the apartment comes with an alarm that is linked to the main security control centre. There is a good size storage cupboard that holds all household cleaning materials, clothes maiden and suitcases can be all stored in this space too. As parents we understand travelling with young children can be challenging, therefore we have tried to think of everything youngsters may need (or want). On the practical side there is Travel Cot, Bed Rail, Child toilet seat, Plastic drinking cups and crockery, Feeding chair and Sun Tent for the beach. To keep the small ones amused during the stay there are bucket & spades, boogie boards, snorkelling masks, inflatables, assortment of beach games, Outside: Living room opens onto sun terrace with rattan furniture including 2 sun beds, table and 4 chairs, parasol and gas BBQ. The sun terrace is South West facing and benefits from afternoon and evening sunshine. The apartment is located on the Rua Das Acacias, the front of the property is on a very quiet road and is lined with beautiful pine and palm trees. The rear of the apartment where the sun terrace is located looks out onto manicured lawns with pine and palm trees and flowering borders. The area is peaceful, and quiet and very safe backed up by 24 hour security. The area is impeccably clean and tidy with the refuse area around 200 metres from the apartment with all bin storage built underground to avoid unsightly views. Guests have free use of the large communal swimming pool, cafe, bar, and restaurant at the tennis academy just a few minutes’ walk away. Facilities also include a gym and sauna which are free to use along with massage and 14 tennis courts,50% discount off tennis courts Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels changed once a week (Saturday) Maid service for cleaning is once a week. We do not provide beach towels please bring your own. Extra maid service/cleaning available at extra charge. Other: The apartment is strictly non smoking and no pets allowed.
