This established and prestigious complex of 46 modern 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartment Suites enjoys stunning panoramic views of the sea, old town, harbour and across to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos.

Although restful Lago Verde is a short walk from the main shopping area and the refined night retreats of the harbour frontage. However it has local amenities adjacent.

On the estate you will find a snack/licensed bar conveniently located next to the attractive swimming pool and sunbathing terraces.

Local shops, bars and Restaurants are 200 yards away and the town/harbour with a superb selection of fish restaurants are all within 5 minutes walk; sandy beaches are around 12 minutes walk from the complex.

The Reception is manned by multi-lingual staff and provides all general information, excursion bookings, internet access and safety deposit boxes.

An on-site Laundry operates - purchase a token and powder from Reception. If not hiring a car one of the many queuing taxis at the airport is all you need for the 7-8 minutes ride. Parking is not allocated but is freely available at the top and bottom of the Estate.

LAGO VERDE is a haven with a perfect blend of peace/amenities, town/beach, seclusion. The online calendar is reliable.

Please enquire for weeks during all blank calendar periods and other periods if ALTERNATIVE apartments would be acceptable.

Please note: flights home from Lanzarote are often afternoon/evening but our apartments have to be vacated by 10am.

Luggage storage is normally available on Lago Verde but book an extra day to ensure a leisurely end to your stay.

Lago Verde has a Touristic Licence.

This cared for accommodation is constantly maintained and sleeps up to 4. It has its own Wi-Fi.

The fully tiled bath/shower room has a hair dryer. The lounge, with coastal views that constantly grasp your gaze, leads both to a modern fitted kitchen area with halogen hob, oven, m'wave, kettle, toaster, iron, breakfast bar, wash mach and outside to the sun-terrace with separate areas for both sunbathing and al fresco dining. Eating here whilst the ocean sunset concedes to the panorama of the Old Towns lights is a particular pleasure.

The apartment, being 1st floor, benefits from the best views and no guests above you.

It is situated in a cul-de-sac away from the main road and provides more quiet than some estate properties. The lounge provides comfort and amenities with CD/Radio player, DVD player and LCD flat-screen showing a full selection of satellite channels. About the Owner

In 1982 I worked for a man who owned property in the then mainly unheard of Island of Lanzarote.

I was given the task of looking after his 3 apartments and fell in love with the island. 25 years later we had managed to purchase our own property.

I later met with the Resort owners/Site Agent and now assist in the process of taking UK and other bookings for him and other owners, at times when they would normally not be available.

Although we will live on the island for part of the year these particular apartments are on a non-residential estate. So they are just for the enjoyment of you.

No misleading photos here. the apartment is exactly as described. The property has all you would need for a relaxing stay in this beautiful town. Excellent views of the harbour and within easy reach of the pool and pool bar area and the local bars and restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the harbour area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the 5th time in this apartment and will certainly be returning. It was also a pleasure to meet both Dave and Helen the owners while they were in the resort.

Fantastic views, feel your tensions melt away

The apartment looks like it is constantly attended to and no niggles were found. The fridge and microwave were brand new as we had to wait for the fridge to settle before plugging in.

Great holiday - no need for a car unless you would like to explore. There is just the right mix of peace and proximity to amenities.

There is Wi-Fi on the estate but this suite has its own anyway which is needed if you are streaming anything. Also a lot of UK TV is available in this Suite at the time of writing.

The Owners now live on the island and their responses to the booking enquiries are full and speedy.

We found the Pool Bar had good food and prices. The small Commercial Centre at the bottom of the estate has an excellent supermarket and an English butcher.

For eats, it has Mario's and the Highlander which we would recommend. Also La Bamba is across the road from your front door for a more Spanish style experience.

It is a short walk downhill to all the harbour has to offer in Restaurants and bars though there are other places on the way there including a great Mexican. It is a steep climb back which you will either treat as a useful calorie burning exercise or catch one of the numerous regulated cabs.

If you have children that want the beach then perhaps this is not the ideal place due to the hilly situation and the same goes for persons with specific walking difficulties but apart from that you can choose to just stay on site, stroll to the harbour/shops, go on cliff walks to Calero and Quemada or hire a car and get around the island - in other words relax and do whatever takes your fancy.

And take in that view of course.

Best yet.

We have visited Puerto Del Carmel for the past 20 years, and stayed in this apartment for the past 3 years. We keep coming back to this particular flat because it has all the things we like - stunning sea-views, tastefully furnished, and immaculately maintained. It has an L shaped terrace, on which the sun shines all day long. It really does tick all the boxes!!!!.

Good Apt and Complex

We enjoyed our stay in Lago Verde, apartment in good condition, great view and complex is well maintained with an excellent pool bar. Run by Denis and Michele who serve good food and drink at a reasonable price.Bars, resataurants and supermarket all within a couple of minutes. A 10 minute walk into the Old Town and about another 5 minutes to the Beach. The complex is at the top of a hill, but unless you have serious walking difficulties, you get used to it. A real bounus having both an area for table and chairs and an area for loungers.

Stunning sea-views from the terrace!.

My wife and I have been going to Lanzarote for the past 15 years. We always live in self-catering apartments as we like the freedom this gives. Having tried several different complexes in the Puerto del Carmen area, we discovered the Lago Verde apartments and have gone back there ever since.

We like it so much because it is very well managed - by a German gentleman called Harald - who ensures that it is maintained up to really high standards.

Of all the apartments in Lago Verde, the ones beginning with an "A" have the best views. Our favourite is A3, which not only overlooks 3/4 of the pool, but has sea-views over the harbour and out to the island of Fuerteventura. The sunsets are magical.

The apartment has been totally refurbished and is tastefully decorated. My wife was especially happy with the kitchen lay-out and its equipment. When we got tired of doing our own cooking, we walked the 10 metres to "La Bamba", which is directly behind the apartment. Great food, sensible prices.

Apartment A3 certainly ticks all our boxes. We're already booked for next year!.

About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink and it remains a popular destination for holidaymakers from far and wide. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious. For night-life in Puerto del Carmen you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.
