Lovely cottage, very homely

  • 4 of 5

I stayed here with my husband and 6 year old son and wanted a base for exploring. The cottage itself was lovely, very homely and quiant. The area was nice although the pub right across the road gets very noisy at kicking out time which can be a nuisance and woke me son up numerous times.

If I was to suggest any improvements, a little welcome package would be a lovely suprise, there is a small bottle of milk, coffee and sugar sachets but a few luxuries would make all the difference (local produce - bread, butter, eggs etc)

Owner's Response: The pub is normally very quiet perhaps it was a private function. Hope it didn't spoil the holiday too much. Val

The cottage has everything you need for a relaxed stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable with plenty of space. There is a fully fitted kitchen with all appliances and a utility room with washer.

The living room is comfortable with a smart TV and WiFi. Two parking spaces are allocated to this property with a garden and garden furniture.

Lovely homely cottage - great base for exploring the sights of north Cornwall

  • 5 of 5

Anna's cottage is very homely, well furnished and provides everything required for a peaceful holiday away from city life. (Whilst still satisfying the wifi needs of our two teenage daughters!) In a quiet rural location, it's an excellent place to be based if you want to explore the north Cornwall coast. The locals in the nearby pub and community shop were very welcoming. We had a great time exploring the beaches around Bude, visiting Padstow and Port Isaac. There's a little cinema nearby for rainy days and plenty of country pubs. Our dog made himself at home from day one and loved wandering around the pretty cottage garden. The cottage was spotlessly clean and is equipped to a very high standard. Thank you-we very much enjoyed our first foray into Cornwall!

Such a relaxing break

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at Anna's Cottage a few times for our main summer holiday. We always leave relaxed and with our batteries completely recharged. The cottage is well equipped and we especially like the big freezer as we can stock up and not worry about shopping. The extra tv upstairs is useful for our son's Xbox on rainy days. Our dog loves the enclosed garden which gets the sun all day. The cottage is within easy driving distances for many beaches and Bude for shopping. The fact that we return so often is testimony enough of how highly we rate Anna's Cottage. Thank you.
