This is not a commercial rental property but our holiday home and we hope that you will find it your home from home also. Normally there is just 4 of us here but it will happily sleep 8. There is a TV with English channels and full internet access through WIFI. From its elevated position it commands panoramic views both to the south and north. Set in mature gardens there is a large private swimming pool, lawned area and BBQ.
In order to comply with the new Portuguese Immigration Law we require the full names of all guests.
We are pleased to say that our house has been approved by Turismo De Portugal and our registration number is 7911/AL

We have just spent 8 nights at this fabulous villa. The villa felt like home the minute we walked in. There were only three of us, but will comfortably sleep 8. The villa was well equipped and extremely comfortable. They pool area was beautiful and had enough sun loungers and umbrella's, the BBQ was a added bonus and we used it a couple of evenings. Fully air conditioned. Our one regret: that we hadn't a booked for longer. Already planning our next trips with lots of family and friends also keen to rent out this beautiful villa. Our first impression on arrival was all looked excellent. We were definitely not disappointed as this villa has all you could want in a holiday property and even more. I do feel the photographs on line do not do this property justice as it was much bigger than we expected. The pool area and gardens were immaculate with the pool being safe for our two young grandchildren. We were a family of 7 and found there was plenty of room for all without seeming to be crowded. Also the barbecue area was definitely a plus as we barbecued every day. I do feel you need a car as the walk to the beach would be at least 20 mins. We found Sheonagh to be very helpful with no request being any problem. We would definitely use this property again but I feel when more people use it the availability might become rarer.
Everything you could want from a family villa
Our group of 8 – two families – stayed at the villa for the last two weeks of July 2015. The villa was everything we had hoped for. All the rooms are large and well-furnished throughout with clean modern décor and air conditioning in all rooms. The grounds are immaculate with a large pool with shallow end and steps, and the villa feels secure not least due to the alarm system. The kids had the internet TV worked out in just a few seconds and it seemed to provide everything they wanted in conjunction with the WiFi; the kitchen had everything the adults needed including a large fridge. The covered terrace is good for eating out; it has been converted into more of a conservatory which can get warm in high summer but will have benefits in early or late season. Either way it provides additional seating areas that were well used. We also used the well-equipped barbecue area although you have to watch for mosquitoes after dark so don’t eat too late. The villa is managed by Alto Villas whose presence nearby offers reassurance should anything not be right – not that we needed them. They also changed towels and took the rubbish away on day 4 and 11 as well as doing the mid- week clean which was a pleasant surprise. Membership of Alto Villas also gives you a discount card recognised by many of the restaurants in town giving you 10% off the bill. Alto Villas will also arrange airport transfers for you if you want to avoid airport car hire as we did, and this all ran smoothly at a very reasonable cost. It is a 20 minute walk into town or 3 minutes by car, but there are good restaurants near-by. If you go into town, there are taxis back at all times and easy to find for just €5. Alvor has developed since we were last there some years ago, but in a good way with loads of restaurants and a general good feel to it at night time and the early hours with a vibrant atmosphere involving all age groups; there is no threatening element or bad behaviour. Supermarkets, bars and restaurants are all fantastic value for money. The beach is 15 minutes on foot. It is best to drive it if you can but parking is competitive and it is best to get there early. The beach was busy but never crowded, again with all ages and plenty of locals.

Activity and Interests
The beautiful beaches of Alvor are 5 minutes drive from the Villa, alternatively Praia Da Rocha (10 mins drive) has a fabulous long sandy beach which is very family oriented
It will take around 50 minutes to drive from Faro airport to the Villa on the motorway - remember you will have to pay the toll - alternatively you could travel on the normal road - this may take you 1 hour
The Villa is just over 1/2 mile (1Km) from the village of Alvor with its array of restaurants and bars, the large town of Portimao is just over 1 mile (2Km)
There are some great restaurants in Alvor - Big Reds and Por de Sol are a short walking distance from the Villa.
A trip to the busy port of Lagos is worthwhile as is a drive into the local mountains
