Apartment in Saas Fee, Valais, Switzerland - Just A Short Walk From The Village Centre And All Amenities

Haus Cresta occupies an elevated position just above the village centre giving fantastic views of the skiing area and glaciers. It is located just off the main nursery slopes but is only a 2 minute walk onto the main street where you will find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment has recently been completely renovated with a new bathroom,kitchen, new beds and new windows making it very warm and cosy in winter. The lounge has a large sofas, satellite TV, DVD and wifi available. 2 double bedrooms, one with an additional private balcony. Fully equipped kitchen with door onto the main balcony and bathroom with bath and separate shower unit. There is plenty of storage space in the apartment as well as a boot room on the ground floor to store skis and boots.

A lovely time come sun and snoe

We had a lovely time in Haus Cresta. The apartment is well equiped and nicely furnished. So it als great when the weather is not too good enjoying a good read on the couch!

Fun to be able to step on and off the piste so close to home ( first time was a bit of an adventure but we found it.)

Clear communication with the owner so we can recommand Haus Cresta to any family of four. Sunny, warm, well equiped and comfortable.

Close to village with a rather steep walk back up again (to evade the inevitable extra Holiday pounds...)

Great communication regarding booking & directions to the property. The apartment was excellent everything we needed and more, The views from the balconies were amazing , a pleasure to wake up to them.

A very spacious apartment sleeps 4 easily, plenty of room with all mod cons,tv with English channels,free Wi-Fi.

A modern well designed apartment.

All in all I would definitely stay here again & would recommend to anyone going to Saas Fee.

Although you have excellent facilities to cook, the restaurants in Saas Fee are very good,didn't have a dud meal all week.

A steep walk back to apartment every night certainly burned off a few of those calories !

I would recommend Walhus Bodmen,check it out online.

Great time in a great place :-)

We had a great weekend stay during our winter week vacation in this cozy apartment with an incredible view and close to all amenities. Excellent value for money :-) Easy/friendly communication with the owner. We recommend to book an evening at the restaurant Waldhüs Bodmen, very nice and good.

From the Owner

We have always loved Saas Fee. It has a lovely village that is just as busy in summer as it is in winter. The views are stunning and the place has a real sense of being lived in all year rather than some resorts which are just open for a few months. The height of the ski area means that snow is guaranteed all year round and often in summer you can be skiing with international race teams. Walking here is also good and there are some excellent restaurants.

Car: not necessary


Geneva airport is about 2 hours 20 minutes away by car. You can take the train straight from underneath the airport to Visp. From Visp you transfer to the post bus which will take right to the centre of Saas Fee.


Distance to village centre - 500m

Distance to ski slope - 100m

Further Details:

Everything is within easy walking distance in Saas Fee. You can walk to numerous bars, restaurants and shops straight from the apartment but there is no noise at all at night. So you wake up refreshed and ready for another day on the slopes!

Very close to the village centre and the ski lifts. The thing we always love whether we have been skiing or walking is returning to our south facing balcony and enjoying the view - it is simply stunning.
