Villa in Caux, Nr. Pezenas, Herault, Languedoc-Roussillon, France - Tranquil Setting On The Edge Of A Traditional Languedoc Village

Set at the edge of this traditional French village which itself is amongst vineyards and open countryside, our Villa offers the tranquillity for anyone looking to relax and explore the south of France. Within a few minutes drive there are several wineries offering "degustation", tasting, sampling some of the regions best wines. Caux offers a new restaurant, bar serving pizza takeaway, pharmacy, greengrocer, two bakeries, a butcher, a post office, banking facilities, small pizza takeaway and a small weekly market on Friday which are a 5 min brisk walk from the Villa. Within a 10 minute drive is the stunning town of Pezenas which has a circular medieval centre at its heart with large supermarkets, many excellent restaurants and an abundance of artisan shops. The beaches are approx. 20-30mins drive with the best being Agde and Sete. There is a bus service between Caux and Pezenas with the stop on the road near the villa.

Perfect villa in south of France style bliss

Family of three stayed here for two weeks July 16 we can not recommend this villa highly enough. It's true to the property style of southern France with gardens made up of olive trees, lavender, fig trees, just stunning!! Land Round the villa is vast plenty of room for the kids to roam & play. villa is large, airy with lots of space to spread out & chill well equipped everything you need Pool is such a luxury not sharing it with anyone else just perfect. Quiet peaceful but by no means remote within easy distance to pick up your freshly baked croissants or stock up at the large supermarkets. Loved loved it we will be back . Owners are so helpful they could not do enough to make our stay one to remember.

Lovely Villa in a quiet residential location.

Stayed in this property this year for the first time. Lovely place to stay. Nice quiet streets but local shops within walking distance. Property is spacious clean and well maintained. Gardens and pool are very secluded. All arrangements went very smoothly. Great location for access to Pezanas and the coast. Villa perfect for families or just a chill out. Strongly recommend a visit.

The Languedoc is a special area for us, with beautiful countryside and gorgeous weather that is close to the coast (or even skiing in the winter a couple of hours away!). We purchased our house in Caux in the summer of 2014 after several visits to the area checking out houses to buy. We fell in love with this house immediately due to its tranquil setting at the edge of this traditional village within 10 minute drive to the amenities of the stunning town of Pezenas.

Booking Notes: A contract in English and French will be provided and must be signed by the prospective tenant.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are Saturdays (high season) however we offer flexibility during the low season. You will be greeted by an English speaking representative who will provide you with the keys and show you around the property.

Notes on prices:
We ask for a 25% deposit to secure the booking, payable by bank transfer. The balance then becomes due 6 weeks before your stay. We also ask for a £300 security deposit which is returned after your stay. Prices in UK sterling but its possible if you would like to pay in Euros. Discount available for booking of 2 weeks or more during the high season. Please note we do not take single gender party bookings of more than 2.

Our house has a delightful private Mediterranean garden providing a very chilled ambiance in this peaceful French village. There are plenty of mature shrubs and fruit trees in the garden to ensure lots of shade where required, this also makes the house itself cool in the summer. The pool and garden is south facing and is a sun trap. You'll enjoy lazing by the pool in the daytime and eating outside in the evening with al-fresco drinks in the Moroccan lounge!
