About the Owner

I originally come from Cape Town, South Africa, but have been letting our holiday cottages since 1995. My husband's family have had the farm since the 1930's. Many of our guests have enjoyed staying with us from all parts of the world and appreciate the beautiful countryside around us and there is always plenty to do..

Guestbook comments from the manager

'We had a really wonderful stay. Of course Jill could not have been more welcoming and her flapjacks were amazing. We wrote lovely things in the guest book. We will certainly stay again'

'We loved the cottage & our experience over the holiday season. Jill greeted us with open arms, some home made mince pies & shortbread. The cottage was as described in every way, and then some. Every conceivable comfort was available, a true home from home.'

'With regards to the property and the welcome, we found this exemplary. The house is beautiful, clean and in an excellent location. Jill made us very welcome and was all you could want in a host, helpful but discreet. We intend to book the cottage again during the summer but have not plumped for a date yet.'
