The well designed living space furnished in Alpine style accommodates up to 5. Comprising of one double bedroom with built in wardrobes and en-suite shower and sink, one twin bedded room with built in wardrobe, bathroom with bath/shower, separate WC, open plan living/dining room with fully equipped kitchen, L Shaped double sofabed and French windows leading to balcony. Private underground allocated secure parking, boot/ski storage room and laundry room (charges apply). A heated indoor swimming pool with 2 jacuzzis, sauna and steam rooms, health spa and cardio training room/gym are within the complex which are free of charge to use. A small supermarket and the village ice-skating rink are on site. The complex is situated behind the village square, 800m to the nearest ski lift. A regular free shuttle bus to lifts and telecabine runs from the apartments.

A great holiday

A super apartment with everything you need for a fabulous skiing trip. We stayed here during the February holidays and found the apartment, its location and the complexes facilities just perfect. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was an added bonus after a long days skiing. Booking was easy and the owner is extremely helpful and welcoming. we can not wait to return next year! 5 stars !

Great apartment

A friend and I stayed in this apartment in January and have just booked again for next year. We would highly recommend it. Comfortably furnished and great location. The apartment had everything we needed and the swimming pool was an added bonus. Michele was great to deal with and very helpful. Great price too. The fact that we have booked for next year says it all!

Excellent Stay

I stayed at the apartment for a long weekend with my partner, 2 year old son and my parents. The apartment was exactly as described and perfect for the 5 of us.

The property had a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of towels and extra bed linen if required. The property and surrounding area's were clean and well maintained. We used the indoor pool and jacuzzi which was great for a late afternoon swim.

The apartment was in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from Les Carroz village square. The ski cable car was running which was a just a few minutes drive from the apartment. We also used the outdoor swimming pool centre which again was just a few minutes walk from the apartment and which our 2 year old son loved.

Michele and Ian couldn't have been more helpful both before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family and we are looking to return in the winter to sample the resort in the winter.

Excellent apartment

Excellent value apartment! Stayed with a friend and had the place to ourselves although would comfortably sleep 4. Fully equipped apartment with a large flatscreen TV, all kitchen utensils as needed, large fridge, 4 ring hob and microwave. We stayed in and cooked every night to save money and had no difficulties making dinner. There's a small Spar just round the corner and a large Spar 10minutes walk away.

The location is great for the centre (2mins) where the ski bus stops. We chose to walk to the gondola every day as a warm up but be warned, as with most accommodation in Les Carroz, it's a good 15 minute walk uphill so definitely take advantage of the ski lockers at the gondola if you plan to walk.

Michele was fantastic to deal with - very accommodating and easy going which made the whole booking process that much more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Great apartment, Great location.

Stayed at this apartment for a short break with some girlfriends. The apartment was just as we expected, well equipped, comfortable and furnished to a high standard. The pool and spa facilities were an added bonus and much appreciated after a hard days skiing. The apartment's location is great, 2 minutes walk to main village square with choice of bars and restaurants and with ice rink and supermarket on site. Private underground parking again is a bonus as we hired a car and the drive is a very easy 50 minutes from airport.

All we wanted it to be

I stayed here with 3 girlfriends in February.

The apartment is clean, cosy and very comfortable. It is brilliantly situated for convenience-ski hire or fresh croissants are only a couple of minutes walk away. There are nice local restaurants and shops.

The skiing was perfect when we were there. An excellent choice of runs and stunning views of Mont Blanc, or picturesque wooded runs. We could have had variety for a full week of skiing, had we stayed longer. There are many restaurants on the slopes e.g with wood burners to warm your toes and your gear, or wonderful outside tables.

If I brought my kids, they would love the ice skating rink next to the apartment, and the pool linked to the apartments.

We enjoyed a sauna and swim post ski.

We are looking at staying here again in the summer.

From the Owner

After staying at a friend's apartment in the same development and being impressed not only with the quality of the build, but also with the area, we decided to buy our own apartment off-plan in 2003. Construction was by a French company MGM - renowned for its quality builds. Since completion in 2004, we have spent many fantastic holidays at the apartment both in winter and summer - and have come to feel very 'at home' in Les Carroz. The apartment's location is so close to the heart of the village square that it's very easy to enjoy the atmosphere and all the facilities on offer.

Activity and Interests

Travel:

Geneva is the nearest airport 73km approx 45min drive. If hiring a car we recommend hiring from the Swiss side, although prices may seem slightly higher it is a lot easier to exit from Swiss side and rental prices will include the Swiss motorway pass.

There are many private transfer companies available approx cost for minibus (up to 8) €170 each way or approx €50 per person each way.

Private secure underground parking space at accommodation.

At 1200m the traditional and picturesque village of Les Carroz is a delight in both winter and summer.

Within the village you will find numerous bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Other facilities include: Banks, supermarkets (a large Spar will be found on the mountain road before you enter the village), bakers and patisserie, gift shops, pharmacy, medical centre, tourist information office, clothes stores, equipment hire shops, cinema, children’s play area, Les Souris Vertes crèche 3mths-3 years, Club Petites Futes 3-12 years, public indoor/outdoor pool complex, skate park.

The village market is held every Tuesday morning and is very atmospheric and a great place to visit and buy local produce including cured meats and cheeses.

Les Carroz is a beautiful place to visit during the summer months with beautiful scenery to enjoy and plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy including, mountain biking, cycling, mountain walks, parascending, white water rafting, horse riding, tree top adventure trail with high wire and zip wiring, outdoor swimming complex with slides. A day trip to Annecy and Geneva is a must and the thermal lakes close by.
