The well designed living space (42sqm) is comfortably furnished in Alpine style & accommodates up to 5. Comprising of one double bedroom (king bed) with built in wardrobes, en-suite shower and sink, window with garden view. One twin bedded room with built in wardrobe and window with mountain view. Main bathroom with bath/shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and separate WC. The open plan living/dining room has an L Shaped double sofabed comfortably seating 5 with plenty of throws and cushions to snuggle up, flat screen Smart TV, Blueray DVD player, ipod docking station speaker, internet (charges apply), dining table with bench seating and chairs and French windows leading to South facing balcony with garden furniture. The kitchen area is well equipped with Electric hob, combi oven/microwave and new dishwasher (2017). A large cupboard in the hallway is ideal for coats. Private underground allocated secure parking & boot/ski storage room are both located under the apartment building which are reached by lift, onsite communal laundry room (charges apply). A heated indoor swimming pool with 2 jacuzzis, sauna and steam rooms, health spa and cardio training room/gym are within the complex which are free of charge to use during 'open season dates'.

A small supermarket and the village ice-skating rink are on site. The complex is situated in an enviable central location next to the village square, 800m to the nearest ski lift. A regular free shuttle bus to lifts and telecabine runs directly to and from the apartments or the village square.

Why Michele Oakley chose Les Carroz d'Arâches

After staying at a friend's apartment in the same development and being impressed not only with the quality of the build, but also with the area, we decided to buy our own apartment off-plan in 2003. Construction was by a French company MGM - renowned for its quality builds. Since completion in 2004, we have spent many fantastic holidays at the apartment both in winter and summer - and have come to feel very 'at home' in Les Carroz. The apartment's location is so close to the heart of the village square that it's very easy to enjoy the atmosphere and all the facilities on offer.

Preferable weekly durations with changeover day Saturday, however shorter stays or alternative arrival day can be arranged, Please contact owner. Cleaning / Towels / Linen Linen & towels provided (not for spa use) Weekly cleaning included, short stays will incur £50 cleaning fee. A charge of £10.00 per night for 5th person on sofa bed. A £200 damage security deposit cheque will be required (uncashed). This is a non smoking property. No pets allowed. The village nursery, creche facilities are located opposite the apartment building. Skate park,leisure centre, open air swimming pool, volley ball etc within walking distance of complex. Equestrian centre close by. Please note swimming pool and spa facilities will be closed when the residence is closed, during 'off season' dates.

Very nice welcoming apartment in a charming development, now thanks to the reopened supermarket is in a great location too and so nice to be right by the ice rink. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon

Great apartment in the best location in the town. Very convenient for ski bus, shops and restaurants and perfect for a family of 4 or 5. Very helpful owner who accommodated our dates and times and was very available for questions and queries throughout the booking process.

A super apartment in the perfect location

Just back from a beautiful weeks skiing. This apartment is just perfect. It is fully equipped for a self catering family holiday and is located within walking distance from the ice rink, supermarket, restaurants and bars.

The ski lifts are a 10 minute walk away or a few minutes trip by car or free shuttle bus.

The apartment is spacious, modern, toasty warm and the beds are extremely comfortable. The swimming pool and jacuzzi on site are an added bonus, just perfect after a days skiing.

Booking and organising this trip has been hassle free. Michele, the owner, has been very helpful and is very quick to respond to any questions I have had during the lead up to the holiday.

This was our second visit to Les Carroz, we have stayed in this apartment both times and will definitely be returning again soon.

I couldn't recommend this apartments more!

Fantastic apartment in stunning village

This is a superb apartment and exceptional value. My partner, myself and our three children stayed here for a week in the run up to Christmas. The apartment is traditionally decorated with comfortable, furnishings - ample throws and a lovely L shaped sofa which seated us all. Two bathrooms is a huge bonus , hot water was constant and the heating could be controlled from

room to room. On arrival our hosts had arranged for bread, cheese, wine and other basics to be left for us which was a really kind gesture as they knew we would be arriving late in the evening. Arranging to stay at the apartment was easy, the owners were very helpful and replied to my emails very quickly. The village of Les Carroz is stunning and we had not realised how conveniently set the apartment is within the village. We drove up to Flaine each day but the ski bus goes from the centre of the village, a mere 1 minute walk from the apartment. We had a wonderful stay in Les Carroz and would definitely book this apartment again in the future

A great holiday

A super apartment with everything you need for a fabulous skiing trip. We stayed here during the February holidays and found the apartment, its location and the complexes facilities just perfect. The swimming pool and jacuzzi was an added bonus after a long days skiing. Booking was easy and the owner is extremely helpful and welcoming. we can not wait to return next year! 5 stars !

Geneva is the nearest airport 73km approx 45min drive. If hiring a car we recommend hiring from the Swiss side, although prices may seem slightly higher it is a lot easier to exit from Swiss side and rental prices will include the Swiss motorway pass.

There are many private transfer companies available we recommend 'Gomassif'.


Heated Ski lockers are available to hire at the telecabine, these must be prebooked online via lescarroz website. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Ski schools in the resort Nouvelle Dimensions and ESF both recommended.

Further Details:

At 1200m the traditional and picturesque village of Les Carroz is a delight in both winter and summer.

Within the village you will find numerous bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Other facilities in the village include Banks, supermarkets bakers and patisserie, gift shops, pharmacy, medical centre.

If arriving by car there is a large Spar Supermarket on the mountain road just before you enter the village and a Super U large supermarket after exiting the motorway before taking the mountain road up to Les Carroz. Might be worth stocking up with provisions before you arrive.

There is a tourist information office in the village square, clothes stores, equipment hire shops, cinema, children’s play area, Les Souris Vertes crèche 3mths-3 years, Club Petites Futes 3-12 years, public indoor/outdoor pool complex, skate park & Ice skating rink.

The village market is held every Tuesday morning and is very atmospheric and a great place to visit and buy local produce including cured meats and cheeses.

Les Carroz is a beautiful place to visit during the summer months with beautiful scenery to enjoy and plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy including, mountain biking, cycling, mountain walks, parascending, white water rafting, horse riding, tree top adventure trail with high wire and zip wiring, outdoor swimming complex with slides.

A day trip to Annecy and Geneva is a must and the thermal lakes close by.

Changeover Day:
Our changeover day is usually Saturday; however we can be flexible on start dates and duration subject availability. Please contact us for prices. The apartment is also available for rental out of season; however facilities and activities may be limited.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
