A charming apartment in a great location with everything you need for a stay in Paris.

A small but perfectly formed apartment in a quiet street. Easy access to the Metro and a wide range of local shops, restaurants and bars makes this a perfect location. The apartment is very well thought out, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The owners were very obliging and we were impressed with a lovely welcome package of fresh bread, pastries and a bottle of red wine. It was lovely to feel that we were part of Paris life, if even for a few days. We would definitely recommend this as an excellent place to stay.

Well equipped well located apartment

This apartment is perfect the location is great next to two metros and within easy walking distance of several of Paris most visited sites. The apartment is fullly equipped and has everything you could possibly need it's clean and very tastefully decorated. The owners attention to detail is nice to see and the wine, bread and pastrys on arrival were a wonderful touch will definitely be staying here again if I was coming to Paris

Lovely, well equiped apartment in a great location

Firstly, about the owners. Arnaud and Hubert went to great lengths to ensure that we had a great stay, from arrangements beforehand, to even leaving us a .welcome drink for our arrival. They even left a folder full of useful information about the apartment and the neighbourhood, as well as guide books, maps etc.

The apartment itself is very well maintained and nicely decorated. and has everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. The building is very quiet, and the flat is set back from the street, the other side of a small courtyard, so you hear no street noise. The bedroom is comfortable and there is lots of storage space, so you can easily make yourself at home.

There is a boulangerie at the end of the street, no more than a minute walk away, and plenty of local shops for any incidentals that you need. If you happen to be there on a Sunday, there is the Bastille street market just 5 minutes down the road on Boulevard Richard Lenoir.

The nearest metro (Oberkampf) is just a few steps away, as are a couple of nice bars. You're only a few minutes' walk from Place de la Republique and the Canal St Martin, in one direction, and Place des Vosges in the other, and the Metro can have you down on the Ile de la Cite or in Montmartre within 10 minutes. The neighbourhood itself is friendly and has a nice feel.

The apartment proved itself to be a great base to explore the city, providing plenty of home comforts to make for a relaxing and comfortable stay. I recommend it highly and will hopefully stay there again some time!

Peaceful perfection in Paris!

We absolutely loved our stay at Arnaud and Hubert's apartment. They have thought of everything you need to feel right at home. They gave us a very thoughtful welcome gift which was so touching.

We really enjoyed the large patio for drinks, breakfast and relaxing. Super comfy bed downstairs, beautiful bathroom and shower, and well equipped kitchen.

The neighbourhood has everything from great cafe/bistros, a boulangerie, grocery and wine shops and the Picasso Museum a short stroll away.

Metro stops and buses are really close and well serviced by multiple lines.

We would happily stay again and will recommend it to anyone coming to Paris.

Beautiful apartment in a great location.

Arnaud and Hubert's place was very well-situated between Le Marais and Oberkampf. The private courtyard was a highlight, and the apartment was beautifully-appointed and very well decorated. We loved our stay there, finding it a great base from which to explore Paris, and a welcoming environment to return back to at the end of the day.

Convenient, well-equipped apartment

We just returned from 5 nights on the property and it was perfectly suitable for our needs. On arrival, we were met by the owner, Arnaud, who was bearing fresh bread and pastries for us. He then showed us the flat and familiarized us with the essential information needed to enjoy the property. The property was very clean and well-maintained with excellent appliances as well as a booklet of information available on how to use everything in the unit. There were also guidebooks on Paris which we used daily. The apartment was near 2 subway stops so it was very easy for us to get around Paris and well as get to the Gare du Nord when it was time to return to London. The owners kept in contact with us before, during and after our trip so the communication with them was excellent and any questions or concerns we had were dealt with promptly. The outdoor space was a bonus, however, the weather was cool and rainy when we were there so we were not able to enjoy it. The only negative aspects were the steep staircase down to the bedroom which could have been a problem for older, less mobile renters (a category we are quickly approaching) and the very small area upstairs in the lounge which was the only area in which to relax. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends.
