Beautifully furnished and well maintained apartment. Whitby Town Centre is within easy walking distance or there is a bus stop right opposite the property. Free BT broadband wifi. Whitby is steeped in history, has 3 miles of sandy beach, a colourful harbour front, cobbled streets, curio shops and tea rooms in abundance. Captain Cooks museum and the famous 199 steps that lead to the ancient St Mary’s church and the Abbey ruins are also a must for the visitor. Whitby is ideal place from which to visit the delights of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with quaint villages and moorland walks all waiting to be explored just a few miles away.

About the Owner

I love North Yorkshire and the North Yorkshire Moors. It's my perfect escape from a busy life and I love to spend time there when I can. However, for practical reasons I decided to buy a property in Whitby so as to have the benefit of all the amenities that come with a town rather than being in a very remote location. It is just a few minutes drive out onto the Moors and I can pick and choose which days to go thereby ensuring I see it at its best!

Fabulous Apartment - Sea Views from EVERY window!

This is a fabulous 2 bedroom spacious apartment with amazing sea views from every window! You can also see Captain Cook statue and the Whale Bone Arch from the window! Perfect location on West Cliff just a short walk down the path to the beach and only a 10 minute walk into town. Also 5-10 minute walk to the leisure centre with indoor swimming pool and Pannett Park is just a little further on. The apartment contains everything a family needs - it's literally home from home. Great advantage having a car park - we managed to park in the car park for the duration, however parking is free on the main coast road until 1st March. It's also a great base to explore the surrounding area - Robin Hood's Bay and Runswick Bay are beautiful and very close by - great for fossil hunting!

We had an amazing week, I'm so glad we found this apartment - thank you for letting us stay. We can see why other guests return time and time again. We can't wait to come back!

Regarding car parking, I provide guests with Council Parking Permits so that if the car park is full or if they prefer to park on the road directly outside the apartment, they can do so at any time of the year without having to pay.

Family of four staying at Seaview Heights, Whitby

This apartment is spacious, modern, well equipped and very clean with a stunning view & surprisingly quiet considering there is a road just to the side and front of it. Parking is limited but owner does provide scratch cards for street parking.

The beach is just across the road and so is the lift up & down to the beach which is very handy. About 10 - 15 minutes walk from the harbour & old town but Whitby town hop on/off bus stops very close to the apartment as well as stopping at the harbour, abbey, museum & train station.

Whitby is a great place to visit with plenty to see and do. My children enjoyed Pannet Park and the beach is lovely, plenty of independent shops and busy harbour with plenty of places to eat and drink and close enough to visit other great North Yorkshire attractions and coastal towns.

We will certainly visit again & would definitely recommend staying at this apartment.

Absolutely stunning apartment outstanding views

Stunning apartment with outstanding views. The apartment had everything you could want on your holiday. Well equipped, clean, well maintained. In the right location in Whitby within walking distance to the front where the restaurants and shops are. Would recommend this apartment to family and friends and would definitely return.

Great view, great location!

Had everything we needed including 2 bathrooms for 4 people! The location is great with a good view of the beach, easy walking distance to everything but far enough from the centre to be a little less busy than the rest of Whitby. Had a parking space as well, though this is not always available and scratch cards are provided by the owner for on street parking. Apartment well equipped, comfortable and modern, but homely. have already recommended it to friends and would stay there again.

Situated directly opposite the West Cliff Beach and beside a park with mini golf, toilets, cafes, etc. Lift down to beach level or cliff path. Views right across to Sandsend one direction and Whitby Abbey the other.


Distance in to Whitby Town Centre is less than 1 mile and easily walkable. Easy access to Yorkshire Moors by car or bus.

Several local shops and pub close by. Lots of restaurants in Whitby. Various supermarkets, banks etc all in Whitby. Public Swimming Pool nearby. Great for walking and sightseeing.
