This is an absolutely stunning villa in the beautiful Italian Lakes, situated just a 15 minute walk from the lakeside beaches and set within large, beautifully kept private gardens. The situation is wonderfully quiet and peaceful in a sought after and well kept residential neighbourhood. The property is set over two levels. On the ground floor, there is a lovely open plan dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped to a high standard with Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and microwave. The dining area has a lovely square dining table with chairs for 8 guests. There are also 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on this floor. The first of these bedrooms is a lovely double room, enjoying doors to the terrace area. There is a chest of drawers in this room. The second is ideal for children with 1 set of bunk beds as well as a single bed with additional pull out bed. This can be laid out as a double bed or as two single beds allowing this room to sleep 4 in total. This room has a dressing area and chest of drawers with ample storage space for suitcases. The bathroom on this floor has a large corner bath as well as a separate shower. Upstairs, there is a wonderful bright and airy living area. For those staying during the Winter months, there is a fireplace, whilst for those staying in the Spring and Summer, doors lead off the living area to a large terrace enjoying stunning views. There are also two double bedrooms on this floor, both with en suite bathrooms with showers. Doors from the master bedroom also lead onto the terrace where there is a table and chairs as well as comfortable loungers. For those who like to dine outside, there is also a large terrace area on the ground floor of the property with large oval dining table and chairs. There is also a Weber BBQ. Awnings can be lowered to provide shade during hot Summer days. The gardens are spacious and offer plenty of space for children to play or for adults to enjoy the sunshine. A gardener regularly tends the mature gardens and in the Summer months, it is filled with the scent of the numerous roses and lavender plants that dominate the area immediately surrounding the terrace. For those staying for a longer period, the property enjoys all the practical elements you would expect. There is a large basement area housing a washing machine and dryer. There is also an extra fridge here and a freezer, perfect for storing your ice cream and wine supplies! The property has a long private driveway with ample parking for a number of cars. The owners have installed a brand swimming pool for the 2016 season. Measuring 10m x 4.5m this very high quality in-ground pool will have a maximum depth of 1.6m and is complemented by a large terrace made from Pierra sand coloured tiles, providing plenty of space for loungers and giving the pool a very contemporary look and feel. The sandy coloured pool interior gives the water a gorgeous pale blue effect. The pool has an electric security cover that can be used if young children are staying in the property.

With a brand new pool for the 2016 season, you won't want to leave the peace and relaxation of the property and its gardens. However, if you do fancy venturing out, you're only a short walk away from the lakeside beaches in the village of Colmegna which also has a couple of excellent restaurants to enjoy.

I absolutely love this property. The owners furnished it as a home from home, and it really does have a special feel to it as soon as you enter. The furnishings are homely and welcoming, in an appealing, contemporary style. Having a brand new private pool to enjoy is the icing on the cake!
