Our lovely 3 bedroom privately owned apartment in the exclusive Bellresguard development which is located just a minutes walk from the famous Pine Walk, running alongside one of the most beautiful sandy bays in the Mediterranean to the charming seaside town of Puerto Pollensa with its family friendly restaurants, bars and amenities.

The apartment has air-conditioning/heating throughout and electric fans are also provided. The property has a large balcony, off the living room and directly overlooks the swimming pool and landscaped gardens below.

The kitchen/dining and lounge area are open plan. The kitchen is fully equipped and leads to a separate utility room with washing machine and large sink for washing sandy clothes and swim wear. There is a comfortable L shaped sofa for rest and relaxation. There is a built in security safety box in the lounge.

There are table and chairs on the balcony along with a retractable awning. And highlight of the apartment is sole access to the stunning large roof terrace that enjoys both sea and mountain views.

The balcony is ideal for relaxing breakfasts and the roof terrace for evening meals watching the sun set. There is use of a shared child friendly 3 tier swimming pool with sun terrace and loungers provided.

Our apartment is in an elevated position at the rear of the Bellresguard development so it is one of only a few apartments that offer both panoramic sea and mountain views and being at the rear is in a quiet location..The roof terrace is 75 square meters and benefits from a built in BBQ, washbasin, there is an outside shower and garden area. There are several sun loungers, wooden table, wooden chairs under a pagola with retractable screening. The roof terrace is for sole use of our guests.

The three bedrooms are comfortable, with two having direct views over the pool and sun terrace. The rooms have shutters, when closed, these provide 'black out' facility in the rooms themselves. The shutters also provide an additional security function to the apartment.

The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. there is a build in wardrobe in the bedroom, bedside tables and bedside lights.

The second bedroom also overlooking the pool has twin beds which can be pushed together to give a double size bed it has built in wardrobe, bedside tables and bedside lights.

The third bedroom has bunk beds and built in wardrobe, we have provided some coat hangers for you use. This room overlooks the rear of the development

The second and third bedrooms share the bathroom with shower off the inner hall.

There is ample free car parking available at short walk on a side street adjacent to the apartment building.

At the front of the development is Store Fermentor a mini-market/cafe/deli that serves a range of meals, including great breakfasts - also fresh bread, croissant, coffee, ice cream, soft drinks, wine and beers are available.

About Fiona Manson

We had several holidays to Puerto Pollensa and found that as a family with three children it met our needs perfectly. It also serves as a great base from which to explore the surrounding coastal towns, Cap de Formentor, old Pollenca and beyond. Bus connections are good.

Our children enjoy sports, including cycling, swimming and nordic roller skiing and Puerto Pollensa offers fantastic opportunities for all these and more.

The sandy beaches are child friendly, clean, crystal clear with a safe shallow slope into the Med. Excellent for snorkelling.

Owning the apartment to enable us to more easily visit and because of its great location - one minute to beach/Pine Walk and 10 mins to town centre - quality, relaxed and peaceful surroundings and tremendous private outdoor space.

Why Fiona Manson chose Pollenca

We had been looking to buy a property in northern Mallorca for a while and looked at several different locations. We eventually decided on Puerto Pollensa as it immediately felt very family friendly and had retained its period charm with old-style villas, the romantic Pine Walk, beautiful and safe sandy beaches and easy access to the dramatic Cap de Forementor with its hidden bays.

We concentrated our apartment search at the north end of the Pine Walk as it had a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We looked at several properties in the well regarded Bellresguard development and discovered the stunning roof terrace of this top floor apartment - fortunate as this apartment is in an elevated position at the back of the site and so benefits from both sea and mountain roof terrace views.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is in a great location as it is one minutes walk to a string of beautiful sandy beaches and the famous Pine Walk. It is only ten minutes easy walk to the centre of Puerto Pollensa (via the Pine Walk) which means it is an easy evening stroll to a wide choice of restaurants and bars and yet the apartment itself is in a very quite and peaceful setting.

The Puerto Pollensa has good transport links so you can easily explore different parts of Mallorca (Alcudia, Soller, Palma etc) without the need to hire a car or taxi. We often visit the markets in Pollensa and Alcudia set amongst the towns historic Roman walls.

There are also many walking options around the coastline, inland and of course to nearby Cap de Formentor with its secluded sandy beaches and stunning views.

Notes on accommodation: We have made the apartment welcoming and family friendly and provided items for the beach and a small library of books and children's DVD's for guest enjoyment. The apartment itself offers a choice of three places for families to come together to relax and eat - the dining/living room, balcony and roof terrace. There are external shutters on all windows (common in Spanish developments) that provide guests with a dark and peaceful nights sleep. There is also a safe deposit box in the apartment. We have engaged a management company to assist guests and for maintenance purposes. They provide guests with a key collection service and 24 hour emergency contact number. It is a no smoking apartment. Legal footnote: We offer only ordinary residential apartment rental under a Seasonal Rental Contract as per the "LAU" Urban Tenancy Act (Ley de Arrendamientos Urbanos de 1994). It is not a touristic rental and no touristic services are included in the rental agreement. Outside: The shared three tier swimming pool, with children's section, is surrounded by lovely landscape gardens featuring lily ponds with some terrapin turtles. The apartment has its own large balcony, directly off living/dining room with ample space for table, chairs and six people. The apartment has its own 75 square metre roof terrace with BBQ and shower and lots of space for dining. Adjacent and to front of the development there is Store Fermentor mini-market/deli/cafe offering a wide range of meals and produce and FREE wi-fi. Utility Room: Separate utility room off kitchen with: washing machine large basin ironing board and iron clothes airer high chair and travel cot umbrellas mop and bucket buckets and spades for guest of all ages Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and one hand towel and one bath towel are included per guest. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own beach towels. Other: A special feature is the spacious roof terrace with built in BBQ, wash basin and outside shower. It also serves as a garden. There is a pagola for shade, sun loungers, table and chairs. The roof terrace is for sole enjoyment of our guests.

Wonderful apartment in a great development

We stayed here with our 17 month old daughter and had a great time. The pool is very family friendly with three sections and two gentle slides and our daughter loved it. There was always somewhere by the pool - not always but often a free sunbed and always some grass and some shade. A very short walk to a selection of small, quiet beaches with shade available and some simple restaurants. Apartment was child friendly and we slept well! Would definitely stay again.

The gardens have been very sensitvely designed with grass and shaded areas, really useful for families with young children. There are plenty of small beach areas available a short 5-10 minute walk from the apartment to get a change of scene and we have left some buckets, spades and beach toys for guests to use along with beach chair and cooler box (knowing there is only so much you can pack into a suitcase when coming on holiday!) There are lots of restaurants nearby, many are very family friendly, some offer a 'day menu' which we find offer local food at very good value prices. All rooms in the apartment are serviced with air conditioning (and heat, there is also a fan), should this be required, which along with the black out shutters offer a very comfortable enviroment especially in which to sleep, especially for parents, ahh... bliss :) I do hope to welcome your family back to the apartment on a future holiday. Great apartment in great location.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at this great apartment which is situated in a great loacation in Puerto Pollensa. There is loads of room in the apartment ( 2 adults & 2 teenagers ) and the big benefit is having the rooftop terrace which has loads of space for sunbathing, BBQ, shower and also a dining area as well. A great place to be when the sun is coming up and going down. The apartment is situated 2 minutes from the Pine Walk and then you have a pleasant 10 minute walk along to the main restaurants and bars within the resort. There is also a small supermarket just outside the complex which has a cafe right beside is as well. There is a large pool in the middle of the complex and at no time did it seem that busy so it was always enjoyable to go for a swim to cool down. We will definitely return to this apartment soon and I would rate it very highly. The Banks Family, Edinburgh.

The development was sentisively designed, each low rise cluster of apartments is served with its own pool area, this helps reduce the risk of overcrowding. And as the apartment is very close to Pine Walk and the sea, a swim, dip or paddle, is also very accessible. But after a busy day lounging in the sunshine, it is lovely for the family to retreat to the roof terrace to watch the sun setting, creating a beautiful wash of colour across The Tramuntana Mountains and Pollensa bay, what a perfect end to the day! Look forward to welcoming your family back again in the not too distant future.

Lovely apartment in great location, minutes from the beach and Pine Walk and close to resort centre

The apartment is in a great location close to the beach and Pine Walk while just a short pleasant walk to the town centre. The apartment is well equiped with everything a family needs plus nice extras like books and dvds. The balcony is lovely to sit on and watch the pool and gardens below. The roof terrace is a great bonus with lots of space and sun loungers - a great place to take in the views and watch the stars at night. The complex is attractive with a good supermarket and large pool. Fiona was very helpful and handled any queries very quickly. We had a lovely stay and hope to stay at the apartment again next time we have a family holiday.

Perfectt location

The apartment is a short walk from the beach and close to a good shop and bar/restaurant with a lively atmosphere. The pool area and apartment were just as described, well maintained and spacious. We enjoyed the ample outdoor space, particularly the roof terrace which was well supplied with loungers, table and chairs. Indoors, the apartment provided plenty of room to relax and the kitchen was clean, with modern appliances Overall the facilities were of a high standard and provided us with everything we needed for a lovely relaxing holiday.

Great apartment in a super location, perfect for families

Very enjoyable stay, well kitted out apartment in an ideal location a minute's walk from the beach. Kids loved the pool, roof terrace was great for sunset bbq'ing and having free parking and a washing machine was a real help. Lovely day trips to Cala St Vicenc for cliff jumping and kayaking and Formentor. The walk to Cala Boquer is also worth doing for a secluded beach (shared with goats) and stunning scenery. Thoroughly recommended. The Home and Away app has all the info needed.

Special interest holidays:

Water skiing, wind surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, sailing, sea fishing and cycle hire are all available in the Puerto Pollensa area.

The area is also very popular with cyclists, runners and nordic (roller) skiers and several national teams take advantage of the relatively mild climate in the winter months to train here and in the surrounding mountains. There are several excellent bike hire shops in Puerto Pollensa. On many roads in the area there are designated cycle lanes with good surfaces.

For the more energetic visitors! there are triathlons (incl. Ironman event) held in Puerto Pollensa/Alcudia on an annual basis.

Coast/Beach:

Only one minute walk to the beach and beautiful Pine Walk to Puerto Pollensa. The Pine Walk runs alongside the beach and there are a string of picturesque tiny sandy beaches with small jetties stretching out into the sea.

The sea is clean and clear and has shallow water for some distance near the shore line, so offers particularly safe bathing for children. Perfect for snorkelling.

As you walk towards the Puerto Pollensa there are many restaurants, bars and shops to visit and enjoy.

Travel:

Puerto Pollensa is 45 minutes drive from Palma de Mallorca Airport.

Car hire is available at the airport and there are also taxi's and resort hopper type coach services available. It is not necessary to hire a car whilst staying at the apartment as the beach, shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Many people hire bicycles to get around.

From the town centre there are various bus connections available e.g. Alcudia, Pollenca, Soller and Palma - with weekly markets.

Distances:

The apartment is in the resort of Puerto Pollensa.

Old Pollensa is less than 15 minutes drive inland from the apartment.

The old Roman settlement town of Alcudia is a 10 minute drive south.

The drive to Cap de Formentor starts one minutes drive to the north.

The apartment is 45 minutes drive to Palma de Mallorca Airport.

Further Details:

Puerto Pollensa is a delightful family friendly resort. It is distinguished by an absence of high rise hotels and developments due to strict local planning restrictions. It also lacks large noisy night clubs. It is an intimate destination with a timeless quality.

There is a good market on Wednesday in the town square, about 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

There are local butchers within walking distance that sell wonderful meat for cooking on the roof terrace BBQ as the sun is setting.

There are several supermarkets nearby of different sizes. Store Formentor, at front of the development, opens at 8am and closes at around 10pm. There are a number of restaurants within an easy 5-10 mins walk. There are banks and a good selection of shops in the town centre at 10 minutes walk.

The old town of Pollensa, 15 minutes drive inland, has a weekly market and is well worth a visit. The town of Alcudia also has a weekly market set amongst its historic Roman walls. Both towns are easily reached by regular bus service from the centre of Puerto Pollensa.

The drive to Cap de Formentor - where the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range finally drops into the sea - begins a short distance from the apartment. Formentor offers some of Malorca's most dramatic scenery and a number of panoramic viewpoints along the way, including looking back over Puerto Pollensa bay. The peninsula also offers lots of walking trails and some fabulous secluded sandy beaches. The circa 15 mile drive culminates in a lighthouse where you can enjoy amazing sunsets illuminating the mountain sides and on out across the open sea to the horizon.

In busier times of the year changeover day tends to be Saturday, but we will try to be flexible to meet your requirements. Apartment arrival time is from around 3pm and departure by 10am please. Keys can easily be arranged for late arrivals.
